Hi Brian Jackson, editor of IQ in Canada here, am at Samsung unpacked in New, York City, and we're just waiting for the event to get underway. Here were expecting the Samsung to launch the Galaxy Note 9, but maybe there will be a couple of surprises who knows and sitting here with a ton of other media and influencers, and we're just waiting for the presentation to begin. As expected, the Galaxy Note 9 is bigger, faster and longer lasting. It's a massive six point. Four inch touchscreen on this device, stretching from one edge to the other Samsung, has bumped up the processing power of this flagship device. So it's ready to go for multitasking.
There's a few key features here that business users will appreciate. First off is the all-day battery. Samsung announced this with a ton of fanfare. What it boils down to is a four thousand William battery, which is as big as they come on. A smartphone Samsung also has an app that helps.
Users manage their battery life as they use their device. Aside from its larger screen size, the note 9 is set apart from the s9 by the inclusion of the s-pen new on this S Pen is Bluetooth connectivity. That means you can press the button on the S Pen to trigger an action on your phone. Onstage Samsung demonstrated it to snap some selfies. They were also controlling the slideshow presentation.
Using the S Pen Samsung is opening up its S Pen SDK, so app developers will be able to design new uses. Samsung DEX is also included on this device in the past. Samsung has sold this as a peripheral for its smartphones, but now it's integrated right into the device. All you need is the HDMI adapter. To connect it to the monitor and away you go in desktop mode.
You can continue to use the phone screen at the same time. If you wish Samsung did to have a couple of surprises. At unpacked, it announced the Galaxy watch, a Smartwatch that has its own LTE connection, and it announced a smart speaker, the Galaxy home, which integrates the Bixby's system, look for more coverage on these devices on IT world canada. com and subscribe to this YouTube channel for the full reviews in the future.
