Top 5 Reasons to buy Asus Zenfone 8 + Flip ( 8z ) Unboxing Review | worth it?

Size performance, UI, speaker, camera and price. What more reasons do you need to buy a phone? Welcome back to today's episode, I am your host today we talk about the ASUS before 8 also called the ASUS 8z. So what are the bad points? What are the good points, and is it worth it? Asus, as a phone company is known for innovation and has proven before that they do understand what the buyer wants, but it was still surprising to see this device given the styling of the ROG phone and the other models. They came up with the compelling phone making the 8z a good choice for compact phone users, the ASUS 8z and the 8z flip also called the before 8 and the before 8 flip are very difficult where the 8g is a compact and sturdy workhorse for daily use. The flip is the bigger brother version with more features and a different attitude. It might seem like the smartphone companies, make compromises with smaller phones.

Given the stature of this phone, there are multiple pros and cons. They try to provide as much value as possible. Given the platform. If we look at the box, the box looks pretty standard neat and crisp. It feels good, but not as fancy as the other flagship models inside the box.

The first thing you see is the smaller box, which has the company provided back cover and the user manual that we get with most of the phones below that there is the packed phone and under the phone is the charging brick and the charging cable. The first thing you notice about the phone is how simple and sober looking the handset is. The small size also reminds me of a time not so long ago, when the phones were smaller, and they could easily fit in the hand the matte finish. Glass back, looks nice, smooth and buttery. The matte finish is not going to be a fingerprint magnet.

So that's a good thing. Other phones might weigh more, but this feels sturdy in the hands. The phone comes with an USB type-c charger and a 30 watt fast charging a fast in display fingerprint reader, and it is ip68 water resistant. The placement of the headphone jack is at the top in comparison to the usual placement. At the bottom also, it comes in two different colors, black and silver, both of which look premium.

It sports a crispy, responsive family display, with 120 hertz, refresh rate with a 5.9 inch size and gorilla glass vectors. It looks beautiful it's a bright and beautiful screen with 1000 nits of brightness hdr10 plus for further convenience. Furthermore, it has a one-handed mode that brings UI to the bottom. Half of the screen now performance and battery are something that we all want. So the company has made a good choice by using the snapdragon 8 processors, the motherboard has been divided into two parts that allows a 4000 my battery to be put in the phone.

The 888 processor makes for snappy performance and also allows fast 5g and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and because this is manufactured with the new 5 nanometer manufacturing process, it is more power efficient and provides 35, more graphics power. This also makes for better memory management and the processor makes before faster than other performers. In the memory management benchmarking, the phone has up to 16 gigabytes of lpddr5 ram and up to 256 gigabytes of storage. The phone has 30 watts fast charging so that you can be electrified by the performance more often and through the system performance manager. You can set how electrified you want to get, and similarly, you can set up your charging speed to take care of your beloved battery.

The renew experience is great on both the 8g and the 8g flip drops to the 100 more and also like the ROG devices. There is customization available in the ASUS game genie, which is kinda cool, the phone sports, dual stereo speakers that give loud and punchy sound, whether you listen to music or take a call. It has two large speakers that give comparatively good sound quality at a high volume as well, and the audio visit manager can be used to customize settings for listening on the earphones as well as the speakers. I remember a couple of years ago, the before flip came out with a flip camera. The 12 megapixel autofocus selfie camera is nice, but the silver ring around it and the placement on the top left makes it a little awkward in comparison to the phone cameras placed in the middle or off center, and the same goes for the cameras at the back.

Why is it awkwardly positioned? I don't know, but the image and the video camera do a great job at the price point. The 64 megapixel main camera is good for daytime use and is good at nighttime as well, but the pictures can seem a little brighter than required, also for people who use ultra-wide shots. It has dual pixel autofocus, the 12 megapixel ultra-wide lens does a decent job at clicking more immersive photos and nice close-ups. This selfie camera is a 12 megapixel front camera. That also has dual pixel autofocus, and it does a good job with the AI.

Also did I mention the optical stabilization. It makes the front and the back cameras great for daytime and outdoor shots. The phone weighs in at 169 grams, which is lighter than the 8z flip, which weighs in at 230 grams and is at par with most of the other flagship phones. The 8z is available at 599, while the flip is available at 7.99. The AG flip does provide back for the puck, especially if you use the camera a lot.

Now, let's have a look at the 8z flip, like the compact version. It comes in both black and silver. It supports up to 8 gigabytes of lpddr5, ram and gigabytes of storage and has a 6.67 inch display, which is bright like the compact version and supports 90 hertz. So it looks pretty nice. The fingerprint sensor is also in the screen, which was previously on the side of the phone and has a 5000 my battery with fast charging.

It also comes with two sim slots and a micro SD slot for expansive storage. Like the before 8, the before 8 flip has a 64 megapixel wide 12 megapixel ultra-wide and a third 8 megapixel telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom. This makes for three really powerful flipping selfie cameras. It can be easily controlled for panning shots or to track face and objects. This leads to highly detailed and some really cool photographs.

The motor mechanism has been updated to make it more robust. This gives you the freedom to lock onto any angle and click photos or use the angle presets in the phone and the phone comes with the auto panorama mode, which takes the panorama photo while rotating the lens which can make for some stunning shots. So what is the verdict? Keeping in line with their tagline defy? The ordinary ASUS has created a phone that is ergonomic and still has a high level of performance. The ASUS before 8 is targeting the audience that do not want to buy ultra phones and, like the smaller form factor. Keeping the length of the phone short is a good idea, as one-handed usage becomes convenient, comfortable to hold and improves the daily usage, and it comes at a killer price point of 599.
