Hey, what's going on guys, I'm nick gray and today, I'm back with another smartphone camera comparison using the all-new OnePlus 9 pro, which is recording right now and comparing that with the iPhone 12. Now, as I do in all of these smartphone camera comparisons, everything that you see here is recorded on these two devices, so just keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which device and which cameras from that device are being used. Now before we jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons. Let's take a look at the specs of these two devices to see how these two cameras stack up, and I will kick things off with the iPhone 12, and it's a pretty simple setup with three 12 megapixel sensors, two on the back for a standard and an ultra-wide and then a single front facing camera again.12 megapixels and all of these can record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second for the main sensor, but the ultra-wide and the selfie camera max out at 4k, 30, fps and switching over to the OnePlus 9 pro things get a little more complicated on the back with a quad camera system, with a 48 megapixel main sensor, 50 megapixels, ultra-wide camera, that's paired with a free form lens that practically eliminates distortion, which looks perfect. Then an 8 megapixel sensor for its 3.3 x, zoom camera and then a 2 megapixel monochrome sensor for the front-facing camera. You have a single 16 megapixel sensor that can record 1080p video at 60 frames per second, while the rear cameras max out for the main one 4k, sorry 8k at 30 frames per second, while the other ultra-wide camera can record 4k at 60fps, as does the main one as well.
Okay, so now that we've gotten the specifications of these two devices, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons and see how they stack up in everyday use. So so so, and for the front facing cameras on both of these devices, the OnePlus 9 pro is definitely at a disadvantage here, with the iPhone being able to capture 4k video at 30fps, while the OnePlus 9 pro only maxes out at 1080p 60 frames per second. So, and this here's a look at video capture from the front-facing cameras on both of these devices now, while neither of them perform perfect in situations like this at least the iPhone 12 is capturing this in 4k, as opposed to the 1080p on the OnePlus 9 pro so and that's gonna. Do it for this camera test between the iPhone 12 and the OnePlus 9 pro. Let me know what you think of the final results in the comments below and which device you would rather use on a day-to-day basis for capturing photos and videos.
I do have a full review of the OnePlus 9 pro coming up so make sure you subscribe to the channel and stay tuned for that. Thank you guys. So much for watching, and I'll get you in the next one.
