The BEST Android Smartphone Camera? - Pixel 3 XL vs Galaxy Note 9 By Karl Conrad

Another day, another camera comparison. What's going on guys Karl here back with an episode for all of you, Android fans out there. It is camera comparison time, probably the two greatest Android devices on the market right now, or at least the most expensive ones. We've got the brand new, a pixel, 3 XL and, of course, the Galaxy Note 9 and both around $1000. So on the new guy, the pixel 3, and this guy has a 12 megapixel camera. You guys know the spiel, it's just one single camera.

We saw that last year from the pixel, 2 and Google does a ton, a ton in terms of software, and we saw that last year in the pixel 2 it had the best camera smartphone, but over on the note, 9 we've got a new challenger and of course, this guy brings some new hardware, but this guy also has dual aperture: that switches from F 1.5 to 2.4. So theoretically, this guy should be the low light beast. It's handled low-light pics very well, but enough of me talking I will let you guys decide which of the two cams of course are better, and I will leave my judgment to the end, so I don't influence any bias on your lives. Don't enjoy these pics so when it comes down to it, I am kind of leaning towards the pixel 3 in terms of a better camera. There's better software, better colors, better dynamic range.

We really see that, especially in the pixel 3, whereas the note 9 tends to blow out highlights. Sometimes, though the pixel 3 does overdo the HDR look of, but especially for portrait modes. This is where the note 9 just tends to get a bit soft and especially as we don't have any minimal distance coming with a pixel, 3 I think this guys kind of takes the cake. Still, though curious, to hear your thoughts. I know the camera.

Isn't everything when we flip it around the note 9 kinds of crushes the design? I, absolutely love this. It's honestly, my favorite design, Android smartphone I, think they did the notch or the lack thereof right.
