The BEST affordable flagship under RM2,000 | Poco F2 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro By SoyaCincau

Okay at the beginning of this year, I was a little worried about the state of the affordable flagship. Smartphone, especially you know those devices that live under the 2000 ringgit price point I mean if Xiaomi couldn't get their me 10 to launch a single variant under 2000 ringgit, like you know, what hope do we have, but the good news is as we approach the end of the year, two smartphones have shown up that seem to fit the bill, so you've got the Xiaomi mi 10 t pro, as well as the Poco f2 pro, and these are both excellent smartphones that are priced at 1999, ringgit, but being so competitive and so similar, like which smartphone should you get well, let's see if I can help you find out at a glance both of these phones look super similar and that's not a bad thing, because they both offer incredible value at their price point, however, they're not identical, in fact, there are a few key specs that might just swing one or the other to your favor. So, let's start at the most obvious segment: the performance, both the mi 10t pro and IOC f2 pro- are powered by Qualcomm's flagship processor, the snapdragon 865 and that's great. However, the memory configuration here is a little different on the focal f2 pro you're, getting six gigs of ram with 128 gigs of internal storage, while the mi 10t pro gives you eight gigs of ram and 256 gigs of internal storage. Of course, there is a Poco f2 pro with 8 gigs of ram and 256 gigs of storage, but that comes at a 300 ringgit premium, so the edge in memory here definitely goes to the 10 t pro, especially considering that you can't expand the storage on either of these smartphones. However, if you're asking me about just pure performance, I wasn't able to notice a difference in my time with the phones.

They both ran everything super smoothly, and I had no issues with lag or anything like that. Even when gaming heat management here also seems adequate in an air-conditioned room. Both phones got a little warm to the touch after a gaming session, but none of them suffered any thermal. Throttling Genshin Impact here, for example, ran really well even at maxed out settings. So besides the storage configuration, I think in terms of performance, both of these smartphones are pretty evenly matched like.

I don't think you can go wrong with either or don't think that they both can give you the identical experience, while you're using it daily and that's because of the first major difference between these two smartphones and that's the display. If we're talking about size, both of these smartphones have the same 6.67 inch display with really slim bezels, and I like that, because you know it's large, but not like unready in my hands, so it's still easy to hold, but these are very different displays because one is an AMOLED panel, while the other is an LCD panel. The Poco f2 pro takes the vibrant, contrast AMOLED cam, with a sharp full HD plus panel. That looks pretty darn good. It also has good viewing angles for an AMOLED panel and has support for HDR 10 plus.

The high contrast makes it excellent for videos and movies, and even great for general browsing you're, also going to get the most out of dark modes, which is great. It's a really nice screen, but the biggest issue that I have with this is that it only has a refresh rate of 60, hertz and refresh rate. Isn't a problem for the 10 t pro. You see the mi 10 t pro while it lives on the LCD side of the spectrum, comes with a staggering 144hz refresh rate. This is faster than pretty much all, but a tiny handful of high-end devices.

This means that pretty much everything you do on this smartphone feels extra smooth animations are buttery, swiping around is fluid, and when you use it side by side with the Poco f2 pro, the f2 pro screen suddenly looks like it's stuttering when it's definitely not Sami, also developed an adaptive sync technology that will help the display, adapt its refresh rate to what is being shown on screen. This technically improves viewing experience and does wonders for battery life too, when you're watching movies, or shows that typically display in 24 frames per second. However, while Xiaomi says that they've put a lot of effort into making sure that the screen is very color accurate, I have to say that the lack of contrast doesn't help it when it comes to stuff. Like movies. Also, the 10 t pro has a little of hazing around its punch hole, selfie camera, which can be distracting for some, but of course the screen is only one part of the equation.

You should also consider the speakers. Looking at the spec sheet, it looks like it should be very straightforward. The Poco f2 pro has a single speaker, while the mi 10 t-pro has a stereo speaker setup, but listening to them. Well, it becomes a little more complicated. The mi 10 t-pro has a pretty solid pair of stereo speakers.

It's not quite as good as the 10 pro or like an iPhone 11 Pro max, but it definitely puts up a good fight before the media. Drive proton has provided more details for its three standard turbo engine, the lower three spec variants, such as the standard executive and premium, get a port fuel injection engine that pushes 148 horsepower and 226 newton meters of torque. It has a nice full sound and pretty good balance between the left and right. So this makes it excellent for music and especially games. However, the right speaker is in a position: that's very easily blocked by your hand, if you're holding it while gaming.

So you better be careful about that. That being said, I would have liked a little more in the mid. Vocals aren't quite as distinct as I like, and that can make it hard to hear people talking in videos. The polo, f2 pro's single speaker. It sounds to me like they've tuned it specifically to make vocals clear. It also gets really loud like at times even louder than the mi 10 t-pros stereo speakers. In some cases this is actually better because, like you know if you're in the shower, and you're listening to a podcast or show, all you really want to be able to hear is what the people in the show are saying. On top of that, the Poco f2 pro also comes with a three and a half millimeter headphone jack, which is one legacy port that many people have missed. The mi 10 t-pro doesn't have this so depending on the type of content and where you're consuming it, the single speaker on the Poco f2 pro might actually be better for you, but personally, I will still give the edge to the 10 t-pro stereo, speaker setup, even if it's just by a hair.

Now, though, let's talk about the final difference between these two smartphones- and that is the camera on paper, it looks like the mi 20 pro and the Poco f2 pro have vastly different camera systems. The book f2 pro has a quad camera system with a 64 megapixel main camera. On the other hand, the mi 10t pro has a triple camera setup with a 108 megapixel camera. But if you actually look at the individual cameras, you'll notice that two of the Poco f2 pros cameras are a depth and a macro camera each, while the mi 10t pro also has one macro camera. Of course this may vary for you, but to me macro and depth.

Cameras are absolutely pointless to me. It looks like they're. Just there to you, know, make the cameras look good on paper, but for the most part, you'll be using the main sensor, as well as the 13 megapixel ultra white camera on these smartphones- and I have to say, despite the different sensors, they both produce very similar images in both daylight and low light. The color processing does differ a little between the devices but as a whole. I think image quality is good enough.

I don't think it's quite at the top of the food chain, but I think that it's definitely good enough for its price. Furthermore, I will, however, like to point out that there is one major difference between these two smartphones cameras, and that is with the selfie shooters you see on the Xiaomi mi 10t pro. It uses a very standard sort of punch, hole, camera design, which is very common on most modern smartphones, and you know it's pretty nice, and it's pretty out of the way on the Poco f2 pro. However, well, I guess its personal preference, but I definitely prefer the more simple design of the punctual camera in the mi 10t pro anyway. Let's round this video out with the build and battery both phones have very similar, builds they've got gorilla glass on the front and back of the handset, with what feels like a nice metal frame sandwich between sure the seams could be a little more flush, but considering the price.

I think the build is good enough. The biggest difference here is the fact that the mi 10t pro uses a faster and more accurate side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the Poco f2 pro uses an in-display optical scanner that feels a little slower and a little less reliable. Now I prefer the position of the Poco f2 pro scanner, but I like the accuracy and reliability of the mi 20 pro scanners a little more. Both of these phones also have very large batteries. The mi 10 t pro has the edge here because it has a 5 000 William hour cell, with 33 watt fast charging via USB type c, while the Poco f2 pro only has a 4 700 William hour battery with 30 watt fast charging support.

That said, both devices should easily give you at least a full day of battery life, if you're a medium to heavy user. So I'm not really complaining here. Perhaps the only thing that I like is some wireless charging, but you know I'm not really going to miss its exclusion here either. So now that we've been through the differences and similarities of these two smartphones, which one should you get well, I think the upside here is that I don't think you can really go wrong with either device. But if you still cannot make up your mind, here's my recommendation, if you're really into movies and stuff like that, then you'll, probably like the high contrast display on the Poco f2 pro a little more.

It's also perfect for general use, and you know if you've never used like a fast refresh rate smartphone before I don't think you will miss that with this device. But for me, I would still pick the 10 t pro, because you know I really like the smoothness of the fast refresh rate display and yeah. I mean the panel is not super great for movies, but it's not a bad panel too. It still looks like a pretty nice LCD screen to my eyes, but the important thing here is that I also think that this is slightly better value because you're getting 8 gigs of ram and 256 gigs of storage, the same price as the Poco f2 pro, and the important thing here is the 256 gigs of storage. Because, like I said earlier, you can't expand the storage on these devices, so it's always better to get the more storage so that you know you'll have more to use down the line, but that's what I think um.
