Hello everyone and welcome to today's video, where we show off the gaming capabilities of the Xiaomi mi 11 now I know a lot of channels have already done such a content, but I think that we should add a bit more by talking about its overheating situation through the global version of the Xiaomi mi 11, which we have experienced. Actually. So, let's start off with the highest end game at the moment that's available for android, which is gang shining pack. Now we played genii impact for about 10 minutes in this video in total. I cut it down to less than that, of course, because you guys want to watch me play badly anyway, but, as you can see here, I have set it to the highest graphical settings for its preset and then change the fps to 60 maximum, and then I played the game for a while also pay attention to the numbers at the far left side of the screen here, especially the temperature. Yes, click huh, yes, huh, kiosks, foreign, hey, so huh, okay, so as time goes by, you can see that the temperature rise rather quickly, and it eventually reached about 51 or 52 degrees and at 52 degrees.
So I realized that the game started to lag a bit. It didn't run at 68 frames per second consistently and the temperature started to drop to about 48 before it starts to go back to its smooth, 60 fps. So with that in mind, I think that the thermal throttling threshold is at about 52 degrees Celsius. I don't know where this temperature is pulled out from presumably it's from the soc, but we can't confirm it since we cannot open the phone and then attach a thermal probe for ourselves to test. But anyway, at this time of temperature, the phone is already very uncomfortable to touch and hold, especially at the top part of the phone and it kind of burned my fingertips and made it very uncomfortable to play games with.
But you can only achieve this kind of temperature if you're playing high-end demanding games like gang shining back at the highest graphical settings at 60 fps. But if you play some other games, let's just say: PUBG mobile, for example like what I'm doing here- PUBG mobile at its highest graphical settings uh for some reason, even though this phone has been out for quite some time right now, it's still not able to run at 90 fps, but we played at 60fps using ultra graphics and here's the gameplay. Oh, so as expected, PUBG mobile is not really a demanding game, so it didn't even reach 50 degrees Celsius and then comes CLD mobile. Actually, it's the same case as PUBG mobile as well. We crank it up to the highest graphical settings, give it a play, and also it did not reach anywhere near 50 degrees Celsius.
Hard point identified, we died for the lead ROG go get down, RC is ready. Online unemployed contest, get down have captured, town has been launched, xs1 Goliath is landing, so that's it. That's all we have to say about the gaming capabilities and the overheating issue of the Xiaomi mi 11. We did try to run some stress test, synthetic benchmark, stress test, and it obviously overheated now, I'm not too sure if this will be fixed by dragging down the thermal throttling threshold or not. But this is what we have to deal with right now and if you have any questions, leave them down in the comment section below, and we'll see you guys in the next video goodbye you.
