The Alcatel Go Flip 3 is the Phone We Didn't Think We Needed By GetConnected Media

Well, it seems technology gets more and more advanced, but sometimes you might long for the simpler times. Remember flip phones. Well, there's a new one in town that kind of marries the best of both worlds. You know I, look at my parents now, and they're, not always as great on the iPhones in the Android phones, there's too much going on, and I've longed for something simple, something that they can make and take phone calls on, but also has some basic fees features like Facebook. Well, this is the latest from Alcatel. This is their go flip three, and this is essentially a flip phone with a color screen that runs a very simple operating system, something called Kai OS kind of the same operating system that Firefox is based on, and it makes it very simple to get through all the different options on the screen here right now you can see them on the main screen and over on the left.

There I just use the cursor control by the okay button here, and I can go to Google Maps if I needed directions go down to YouTube, there's Google Assistant as well, which we'll get to in a second and there's the kayo s store as well. By going to the store, they've got all sorts of different apps that you can load onto your phone, and again it's also simple. You just used a little cursor control here when you find the app you like you hit OK and go through the download function, so you can see right now, there's recommended there are social apps I can even have WhatsApp on here, which is kind of cool and games utilities. There's a PDF reader here, lifestyle, news, entertainment, you get the gist so essentially again simple to make the phone calls. If you want to do things like web browsing, you just hit the ok button here when you're on the main screen and from here you can access all the functions you can see.

The camera is there as well we'll talk about that in a second down at the bottom. There's the web browser mobile. It's kind of hard to type. You know with the old number keyboard here, because this is a Google Assistant. All I have to do is hold down the ok button, and here we go get connected.

Media com and presto. I didn't have the type of thing. It comes right up on the phone itself, which I think is fantastic, so you don't have to be worrying about typing. With that tiny little keyboard and I found the voice. Recognition was actually perfect.

It does have the Google Assistant built-in, so it's really easy to navigate around again. It's got all the basics of you know what you'd expect in a phone today. Furthermore, it does have a built-in camera on it. From what I've seen the pictures are not that great there. Okay, it does take video as well I mean it's.

A hundred dollar flip phone know what to expect, but you can do the basics with it, which is kind of a cool thing. You can import your contacts in here as well from Outlook or whatever other contact manager. You have, and again it's a simple phone and that's the nice thing. This is something that you could give to your parents and not have to worry about they'll, be able to still see all the Facebook pictures of the grandkids and still be able to take the calls as well. So you know for under a hundred bucks, this is a steal.

It's simple: it works fits in your pocket, tiny and light. The battery goes all day and I think it's a great value again. The Alcatel go flip three check it out. You.
