TCL 20SE Data speed test (TMobile)

Hey guys this is mike from tech reviews here, and today we're going to do a speed test on the tcl20 SE, so this is TCL's uh current burgeon uh budget phone, I was gonna, say, budget phone and again this is just a late night video you guys can see here that it's 1am on Friday July, the 9th and this is the screen is so big on this thing that I actually have to move this up a little so big shout out to again TCL for sending this phone out. So again, I'm already going to test out this on a mobile network. So if you guys are wondering which mobile network- I am testing this on uh, it is actually going to be T-Mobile. So I actually tried the visible sim card in here uh, but that one did not go through. Unfortunately, so I was kind of trying to see if it was going to be a hit or miss on that specific one uh. But here you go, you guys can see here the network for this one is T-Mobile, since I have a secondary line for T-Mobile.

So let me let's go ahead and do a speed test on this again. This is just for me to put some content out for you, so I just ran a speed test right now, and it gave me about 58 downloads and like a little more on the upload here or not up more, but let's go ahead and check it out see what it can do here. I'll change, a few of the networks again, this is Houston, Texas, that it's its you know reaching that specific network and, as you can see here, this is not a 5g phone right, LTE device and so for the most part, it's been pressing a lot. You know you can see here that I'm getting very good speeds. Just you know on my LTE again this is a budget phone.

This phone is under 200. So for people that are thinking hey, you know I need a 5g phone, or you know it's a must-have. You know in 2021, etc. Like that, you know you don't necessarily have to have a 5g phone, especially if 5g is really not very strong in your area. You know what I mean so again.

You know you're going to see it in those bigger cities. Obviously, but you know, you're going to have people that you know are going crazy over a millimeter wave, but you know this is still very, very good speeds for what it is. You know what I mean: you're still going to be able to download or play games, or you know stream movies, whether you're watching Hulu, Netflix etc. Like that. So again, this was Houston.

Uh, let's go ahead and see. If I can change the network here, really quick, um change test server. Let's try to get something more local, so we'll do smart, comm uh in McAllen, because that's where I live and again getting close to 80, meg, download or megabits per second download is perfect. So and again I'm getting close to the same there. You see it jumps quickly and like here, I'm at 85.

, pretty intense, I'm not going to lie, and it's pretty good actually because um, I'm definitely impressed you know. T-Mobile's network is definitely getting a lot better down here. Where I live- and you know on phones like this, you know you're really not going to see too much of a difference. Um, you know, as far as the speeds go and whatnot from LTE to 5g, you know if you have a 5g device, you know it's not really going to be too much of a difference. You know, of course you know 5g phones with T-Mobile you're, going to get like 200 200 to 300 downloads on the megabits per second.

But here you know again relatively still good. You know again, I'm not going to complain uh with this one. Let's go ahead and do one more um server change here. I'll do VAX here and again soon I'll, be testing out the camera on this again and just checking out the photo quality so again. For the most part, it looks perfect by the way um.

You know consistently getting over 60 right now, I'm at 75. You know what I mean so just overall impressed on the download speeds on this uh budget device again, so take it with a grain of salt. Furthermore, you know it's going to be different. Uh anywhere you go, so you know if you're trying to use this on the cricket network, a TNT. You know one of T-Mobile's um, you know um, you know piggy backers, then you're going to see different speeds in different locations.

So again guys. This is mike from tech reviews checking out the speeds on the TCL 20se, looking forward to hopefully testing out the 25g and the 20l later on. Hopefully, I get my hands on those devices as well, but again guys. This is mike from b-tech review. Signing off thanks again for watching see you guys next time, we'll see you guys next time.
