TCL 20SE (Camera Test *Video in 1080p*) By BTech Reviews

All right, hi guys. This is mike from BTEC reviews here, and I am out here uh at one of my local parks in the city shout out to Kenosha by the way, and we are testing out the front facing camera on the TCL 20se again big shout out to TCL for sending this out uh this front facing camera, I believe, is an 8 megapixel camera, and it can shoot at 1080p at 30 frames. A second so hoping the video quality looks: okay, uh. The sun is kind of going down on that side. Well, not really it's not really going down, but I'm going to take a few uh shots. Uh and again, I'm sitting here on a park bench right now.

I'm just kind of chilling I'm hand holding this just because um I'm looking around to see if anyone's looking at me, because I'm embarrassed now um pretty much, I'm just checking it out. Want to see the video quality, and again I'm kind of in the shade right now. So hopefully the video doesn't look too washed out to you guys but again, uh keep in mind. This is a budget phone under 200 dollars, so you know you're not going to get top quality, but just seeing from what I'm seeing on the screen, it doesn't look too bad. Actually, so I'm seeing my skin tone look pretty accurate because I'm pretty, pretty white uh quite conflicted.

So even though I'm Latino shout-outs to Toyota over here by the way, but let's go ahead and get a few uh front, I guess front camera shots the front main camera is a 48 megapixel, and it's a quad setup. So I'm thinking it's going to have some wide angle capabilities as well, so we'll go ahead and check that out, uh, but again guys. This is mike from BTEC reviews. If you guys, like the video, don't forget to smash the like button. Let's take a look at some of these rear shots that I'm about to take okay, all right guys.

So uh we are shooting with the rear-facing camera now and I just kind of wanted to get a close-up of this little plant here. Uh show you guys maybe the detail on it, and you know I'm not sure if this camera has any image stabilization while recording, so I'm going to start walking around now and again, you can see the details in the dirt, and again we are at the city of McAllen archer park. Welcome and again I do like to come out here just so I can kind of zoom in on our tallest building out here. So again, this has looks like it's a 4x zoom, but I can also probably do it. Has one top one touch button taps as well, so I can zoom in directly.

If I wanted to I'm not seeing a wide shot option, though so again, I'm going to walk around and again you guys can just kind of give you guys a look here and again. Here's an old school church over here, on my left hand, side, I'm going to start panning to your right here and again, you know it's pretty it's a kind of nice day. It's been kind of raining off and on, but again I just wanted to kind of get a shot of me walking just to see if there's any type of stabilization here- and you know for the most part, it's a beautiful day- a lot of people out here right now, I'm probably going to get footage of that uh waterfall. I don't know if you guys can see that I'm going to zoom in uh 4x here just to do that, but for the most part I'll get footage of that maybe see if we can get slow it down. While I edit again, this is shooting at 1080p at 30 frames a second, so this camera can record in 1080p, 720 and 480p at 30 frames a second, so you're going to get you know, you're not gonna, get 4k video out of this.

But again you know a lot of people kind of undervalue. These phones and again 1080p, should be the standard when it comes to recording. Nowadays, if you really want to save memory, you know go down to 720p and a lot of people were like well, you know I need to buy this. You know I need to buy this budget, or I need to buy flagship device. I need to record in 4k, you know I need all major detail.

You know it really just depends on the videographer. You know what I mean you can get some good nice looking shots uh with just you know: phones like these phone baits. I wouldn't call them basic. But again, you know. TCL has definitely uh impressed me with their phones.

So here's a small zoom in video surveillance area call 9-1-1 if possible, so I'm not seeing a wide shot option, at least with this. You might see it with. You know the other versions of the phone, which are the 20 l and the 20, the 25 g pro, I believe so again. I'm going to start kind of walking towards the sun. Now, just to kind of get a good look at this, so I'm gonna probably walk this way towards the fountain, and I'll get a shot of the fountain really quick.

But let's go ahead and get a good shot of that plant and again, if you guys are not from McAllen, you guys know that there's a food uh truck district over here off of old 83. So if you guys are from the valley check it out, okay, so the last couple of times that I've come out here, the fountain has been off, so it looks like they finally turned it on and again, I'm not going to make any edits to the audio quality. So what you hear is what's coming directly out of the actual um camera itself, for you know the actual phone. So one thing I can tell you, though, that I've kind of been impressed with this phone is obviously battery life is amazing. It's a 5000 William battery right.

Let's try to slow that down to 1x and let's just get a good wide shot there of the actual. It's a nice little chill area to kind of chill by the way. So again, if you guys check out the hotel over here, Casey de palms, hotel, the Spanish room downtown district over there and literally just like a block away all right guys. So as we walk back to my car here, I just kind of wanted to get uh some detail shots of like these. I guess this pretty cool tree here.

Um- and I don't know if you guys can see this or not, but there's like little ants climbing up this little uh tree right here also, so I just wanted to kind of get that going for you guys see what you can see as far as detail goes again, it doesn't look too bad honestly, just trying to get a good shot of like the some buildings out here as well. So again, just do a 4x, zoom or two and a half x, inch, zoom and then just kind of zoom back out and really test out the camera on this. Because again it does look pretty good. But again I have a feeling that there's going to be some image, stabilization issues, which you know again, that you know that that might be common on phones like this again you're, not you're, not paying for the actual. You know, uh features that you would get in a higher end, mid-range to flagship device.

So again, just keep that in mind and for the most part, really impressed so far, I've taken some several pictures that I'll post on my Instagram and that has seemed to be very impressive. As of now you know what I mean I haven't had any issues with the Instagram uh I'll post, those up uh, probably before I post this video uh, but for the most part again, not too bad guys and again. I hope you guys enjoy these little videos that I do just to again test out the cameras on these uh. You know these budget phones again, you got to give TCL a shout-out to them for sending me the device and, of course, I'm going to go ahead and link you guys up in the description down below. So you all can check that out and see.

If you guys, you know, are interested. You know they also have the f, the 25 g and the 20 l so again, and my car is parked right here, so my car looking pretty cool. I need to wash it, though, because it does need a good, washing and detail. So hopefully, hopefully it looks pretty good but any who guys any who. I just want to again thank you guys for tuning in again, probably not as long as a video as I normally do.

Let me lower that really quick before I get demonetized uh but sitting in my car now and being able to look at the screen a little heavier uh, it looks super nice and crispy right so again take it with a grain of salt. This is a phone that I believe it's on it's around the 189 range, but I think it's on cell right now for 150. So again, ginormous screen decent cameras again for the price. You know you don't really see a lot of phones out there in this price range that you can buy unlocked, and you can do a lot of cool things with so again guys. This is mike from tech review.
