Sony Xperia 5 II Unboxing: Better Deal Than Xperia 1 II? By Phone Battles

Hey guys, so we have an unboxing of the Sony. Xperia 5 mark ii, which may replace the one mark ii, is a favorite phone, but before we get into the comparison I will do the unboxing. Now this is the review unit, but it's going to be the same as the retail just based on experience, and you guys probably notice here so someone else has used it. Of course, when you get it yourself, it'll look nicer, but yeah we'll take a look in a few, so we also have a fast charger. A lot of phones are not shipping with these so nice to have it. We also have a type c, cable, type c to type c and also some headphones.

So I mean by including the headphones and the power adapter they're already quitting a lot of stuff. Also, this is pretty much the exact same unboxing experience as one mark ii. The boxes are identical so with the retail unit, you're also going to get some pamphlets, but besides that, it's identical all right so now for the phone, yeah really beautiful design, which of course is similar to the one mark ii which will compare to on a few all right. So let's go power it on now the fingerprint is uh once again the power, which is definitely a good thing, very nice- to see the headphone jack alright guys. So I'm going to put on my info, and I'll be back in a few all right guys.

So I've been using this phone for the past four days now, I'm going to discuss my thoughts more in a second, and we'll also do a brief comparison versus one mark ii, but before that, let's go over the specs for it. So on a fun we have a six point, one inch: oh, it's green display, it's 120, hertz and nearly bezel is without the notch on the front. We also have a 8mp camera and on the back we have a triple camera setup. So this includes a telephoto and a wide angle, and it's also the only phone in the world that can record in 4k slo-mo now for the internals. So the phone is a snapdragon, 865 and 8 gigabytes of ram.

It also has up to a quarter. Terabyte of storage and micro SD card support, a pretty large 4000 William battery, but no, I was charging, and it's also water resistant. It also has dual speakers which sound pretty good. Now at the bottom, we usually type c on the side. We have a camera button which is unique to opera's right next to it, we have Google Assistant, which is new to opera's.

Here are some results now we also the power button which doubles as a fingerprint, and it works pretty well. Above it, we have the volume rocker and at the top of headphone jack, which is great to see the phone is available in most networks in the US. It's only 4g here, but it's 5g in most other countries. Now the phone costs 950 bucks with some pre-order bonuses and is available at the beginning of December I'll, put a link to the pre-order in the description, alright. So now for the hands-on versus one mark ii, all right so, first and foremost, the one mark is of course, a larger phone.

But that said, the phones are actually pretty similar, the pi mark ii. Does it some downgrades, but also some upgrades. Now the one mark ii is larger display, and it's also 4k. But that said guys, the 5 mark ii is a fast refresh rate, so the first Sony with it. Both phones are the same cameras on the front and on the back.

The first three are the same, but the one mark two does of an extra camera are used for depth. Now I will be doing a full comparison between them, but I don't expect it to make a massive difference. Now that said, guys the five mark ii doing some extra features, including being the first phone recording 4k slo-mo. Now a lot of the other specs are the same, so that even includes a 4 000 William battery, which is of course impressive for the 5 2, because it's a lot smaller. Now.

That said guys, the one two, that's why I was charging while the five two does not the five two has a Google Assistant key, which the one two does not, but that aside guys uh the biggest difference here is definitely the price so 1200 versus 950. I also do prefer to comfort in the size of the five mark ii, so it just feels a lot more natural to hold it. Both phones also have dual speakers: subway dreams, Dan, no copyright so and last time here, actually they're a bit louder on the table. So let's just try a few more seconds yeah, so both sound, very similar, excellent quality. We also have a quick test of the rear cameras, so filming this in 1080p 60fps, now switching over to wide now switching over to wide, which is something you can't do on a lot of phones, including Samsung's, in 60 fps mode.

We also have the maxim zoom using a telephoto and once again it's 60 fps mode, okay, so my thoughts so far, um honestly guys Sony might have made the five mark ii a little too good again coming into this. The one mark ii is a favorite phone on the market, but for 250 dollars, less you're getting the phone as more comfortable a phone with almost all the same features and really not many compromises, so yeah for the next video do a full comparison uh, including for the cameras, want to see if the forefront makes a difference, but I mean really guys stuff like the battery. That could actually be better for the five mark ii. So again I have to do more testing first, but for now I'm extremely impressed with the five mark ii.
