Hey guys DES with T-Mobile, and I'm here with Susana from T-Mobile hi everyone, and today we are doing our latest tech Tuesdays. Thank you so much for joining us tonight, we're going to be talking about the pixel, 4a 5g and some great accessories, Sophie power station, uh, otter box commuter case, pixel, buds, all the fun things to gift yourself or a loved one or a friend uh, if they're a pixel user. These are great uh accessories to use, even if you're, not a pixel user uh. A lot of these are available for many devices. Who do we have in the chat today we have a lot of people actually everybody's, saying hi? I hope everybody had a good holiday weekend. Let's see hello, hello, hi, josh, hi, Daniel they're, loving your festive shirt.

Oh yes, so I am wearing everything there. We go check this out: a happy holiday, T-Mobile, uh, holiday sweater, if you will, with some deer and snowflake this trees and all the uh, the old uh T-Mobile fun holiday festive stuff. Oh, look. Somebody already said they use their Pixel Buds to oh, they need them when they travel to Tokyo for translation. Oh, oh yeah, the real time translation feature yeah.

We demoed that once before, let's see keep eyeballing pixels get out. You know what it's, so it's funny you mentioned that Daniel we're going to we'll jump into and do a kind of quick recap here in a second but Daniel. I'm going to grab that comment right there. So Daniel says he keeps eyeballing out of the iPhone. The best part is pixel.

Buds are compatible with iPhones, so you can use them in iOS or android little fact there for you. Okay, let's see uh. We should have that for a free t-oh. I think they're still talking about my t-shirt, yeah all right. So let's do this.

Lets uh I'll power up the demo came here real, quick and add it and get organized the way. We'd like him. Let's make him the big guy, and he's in the holiday spirit. Look at that look. We got a little festive holiday, uh um layout here of our accessories, and then I'm just going to pick him up for a second and show off the Pixel 4a 5g.

It's glory. Look at that uh background. It does. Yes, that's taken with the pixel, it's so with this pixel. As a matter of fact, uh.

Some of you may or may not know, I've just come back from a coven vacation uh in Maui, and if you've ever tried that my advice is, don't it's a little crazy um you have to get a test before you even get on a plane. Everybody was negative. We went to a time-share to a condo that had been cleaned for two days before we got there, and we pretty much stayed in our condo or walked down to. This is basically the beachfront uh kind of across a grassy public area uh, and that was it. We were the condo uh, the grocery store or at this beach, and it was hey, it was quarantining in a slightly warmer climate and a lot better weather I'll.

Tell you that hey! That would be nice. That was nice, so Pixel 4a 5g I'm going to go ahead and let's just make sure that we're focused in on that guy, okay, cool nice yeah. So it's got the know. We were looking at that already. The 6.2-inch OLED screen, 8 megapixel front-facing camera right there and the screen is fantastic. Now this phone is a little bigger than the regular pixel 5, which I happen to have sitting right off camera here, as I make a bunch of noise, let me see if I can do it comparison for you.

They were asking. If you had 5g in Maui, I did. I actually had really, really good value. So there's your size comparison I'll, try to hold that real still, so it's not going to sit here and go back and forth on a bunch. Uh six-inch screen versus 6.2 on the 4a 5g, so the 4a5g is actually a little bigger screen. It's only the 60 hertz refresh rate versus the 90 hertz, but I've not really noticed any problem at all uh on the refresh rate and then let me pan it back just a little for you.

So here the battery life is amazing on the new pixels' battery life's perfect. So this is um a 30. I think they say it's 38 38.85 3800 William hour minimum. It's kind of a lot of people have been asking about that with um. Our partners at lg always states the minimum battery size um.

So these pixels uh google's probably calling this 38.85, let's say: 3800. The minimum you're going to get is 3800 William hour battery um. Of course, six gigs of ram uh, 128 gigs of internal storage. It is ENIM, capable and also regular, sim capable uh cameras are of course, wide ultra-wide now ultra-wide yes, so that's a 16, megapixel ultra-wide camera, and we'll see if we can kind of get the camera detail with the little light sparkle right there. There you go yeah and a 12 megapixel, dual pixel camera and then eight on the front.

Um we talked about ram, talked about storage, android, 11 out of the box, uh integrated Google Assistant, I love Google Assistant, actually so much good stuff. I talk to google all day long. You can. I've recently been playing among us. You see that on their yeah, whenever I jump online, I always send out a random code on Twitter of the game.

I'm playing everything. What the heck is that. So, let's see um love the specs love how affordable, 5g yep you can see. We got 5g right at the house. Yeah, there we go, it decided to be nice for us and um.

Is it a heavy phone? No super lightweight super comfortable, real nice. In the hand fingerprint sensor on the back, uh only comes in the just black. Let's let the Samsung note focus come on note. There we go he's being a little of a stinker today, but yeah hey, while it focuses. Does it have a headphone, jack, of course, of course uh.

Let me see if I can there you go yeah. That was a little tough right. Oh, it's hunting! It's something! Okay, demo cam's been you could kind of get. I have to get back and get the light there. You go a different way.

You can kind of see him he's right. There yeah five millimeter headphone jack, USB type c charging port. It's all dark. You know it's a black, it's a black rectangle! So yes about some um, some very black accessories to go with it, which we probably have other colors, and we absolutely do. I think that that's the fun part of all this, so what we're doing over the next four weeks, um, and I'm doing pixel today, Susana, you might have to do next week's accessories, we'll just ship them all to your house.

We're talking about great accessories. That um in this case go with a pixel but are actually uh, probably universal accessories. We're selling for multiple devices in our store so, for instance, an otter box case uh. This is the commuter I know, you're super familiar with cases, so that's a lighter weight case still two pieces still the hard shell plastic. Definitely you still get both pieces, but um.

I actually prefer the commuter case over the defender series just because it's a little thinner now, if you're heavy on your phones or you, you know you're around um, more crazy environments. I definitely recommend the defender case, but the commuter is probably my favorite, and they do have better colors than just black yeah yeah for sure. So, let's so, let's show commuter I'll go ahead and pull that guy out. First we're going to move this Sophie we'll get to him in a couple of minutes, so this is, and I got a pan back a little there we go get a little room to work here. Commuter case drop, 3x tested against military standard.

I think the best part about this is just getting in here we'll do a quick unboxing, so pocket friendly design. They say: secure, grip, dual layer, protection and port protection. What does that all mean? Well, let me show you so: let's talk about port protection, so there are covers here we're going to break it apart in the two pieces. There you go so port protection, they're talking about USB ports covered by this little flap right here, 3.5 millimeter jack will be covered by that little flap right there. That looks like fairly decent and then, when you put the two pieces together and the way I have found to do, this is put the device yes protector.

First right, um and then trick of the day is actually kind of getting the flaps in the plastic. I might not pull it off exactly for this demo, but let me see if I can do it real quick. I did it earlier um there we go just get that flat down through and there snap them into place, and your good people say they, like the symmetry otter box case. Furthermore, I like that one too, that was awesome, so there's your flap or your port protection with that little flap right there, it folds in pretty nice and snug and same with the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack right there, and then you can see fingerprint sensor. Spot awesome cut out, for our cameras still has good porting for the speakers there we go good good good all around them.

I really love about otter box and other cases do this too, but otter box has been doing it for a long time raised lip around the screen. So yes, there we go shot of it right there. So when you drop it down, you can already hear that the rubber bumper system, if you will, is cushioning that grip and the screen is not the thing hitting the ground. So there's otter box commuter series for pixel, 4 a5g and a couple little rubber grips coming through the hard shell right there. So yeah good, good, good, good nice.

Like I like it, everybody loves it. They said it looks great on the phone, okay, so 39.99 for the commuter case uh. So that's kind of a nice and comes in colors, of course, entry level case uh for pixel 4 a5g. Now, let's take it up a notch. We're going to go up to about 180 uh depends on the promo things like that: Google Pixel buds.

We've shown these off a lot. Yes, wireless Bluetooth, wireless headphones um, not only for the pixel all android devices, just about definitely iOS as well, small lightweight, very capable touch, sensitive on, and wireless charging. Yes and wireless charging. You can see it right there, so the case is wireless. Charging.

These guys are actually using the little contact points inside he does actually focus on your hand and not the pixel buttons. I know sorry my best hands out of this shot, how's that that looks way better yes way better. So we get an idea, uh great battery life, great sound and interesting fit. I have finally figured out how to use this little nub. There we go to get into my ear.

I've to hold it really still there we go nice, always cracking me up there and lost it, but that's okay. I wish we could lock focus in our streaming app we'll have to work on that uh. You can see two led indicators charging the headphones and what the case has the case is white, so the case is fully charged does charge with the USB on the bottom is wirelessly capable on the back and then of course, um integrated with the Google Assistant, I'm not gonna, say the hey g word, I'm just gonna. Go that way. You can see it fantastic wireless headphones can.

I would consider some of the best uh up there with AirPods. If these are on back order, um you should check out your local T-Mobile store. They'll, definitely be able to let you know, yep for sure um. So great uh choice for a gift, uh, that's Pixel Buds, and then let's do one more. So this is the Sophie power station wireless XL.

We have a few different versions of Sophie charging solutions. This one is a 10 000 William hour battery comes with uh, and I'm going to see if I can show it right there to the camera. Good looks good. So an 18 watt, uh USB fast charge port right, uh, 10 watt wireless charging we'll get to that. Just in a second uh.

It says it can charge through lightweight cases, of course, and then the premium fabric finish. I think the interesting thing is people might say well, the pixel does not have the pixel.4A 5g does not have wireless charging and, I would say, you're absolutely right. It doesn't, but if you've got Pixel Buds or if you're, using some other type of wireless headphones you're going to still want that capability for sure you're going to want the opportunity kind of like we talked about with the wireless power share or reverse wireless charging on other phones the opportunity to share your power. So here it is nice, that's great! On the side, it is little black rectangular brick. Oh, look at that.10 000, wow, 1 000 William hour massive battery and then here are your indicators for your ports. You can see it right there, so there are the ports USB and an USB a and then on top.

This is your wireless charging pad. I did a little sneak. Preview click. The button put the guy right in the middle make sure I've got him. Aligned case is kind of small, but if he needs power, he'll start charging right there.

Let me see- and I always play around finding the spot there he is he's. Can you guys see the little signal indicator he's getting the juice, so he can be charging that uh, and then I can connect in through a cable, we'll do a little that is so handy to have a portable wireless charging charger uh and this one? What's this guy cost um? This one is, I want to say, seventy dollars, yeah like 69.99 69.99, yes, great, great, fantastic, great investment and honestly, you could use it everywhere sure, and this again not specific to pixel. This is going to charge your Apple devices, your Io uh, your iOS or android um, no problem, it's USB and USB-C. So if you've got the old, lightning connector your USB-C on the end of that cord is going to plug into it uh if you've got an iPhone that has wireless charging built in. It can go right here on top where the Pixel Buds are currently sitting, um, fantastic, love it and available again at T-Mobile today, um and t-mobile.
