Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Android Tablet Unboxing and Camera Test

Hey everyone- this is Larry, welcome back to today, I feel like calm. Sometimes, when I do my reviews and some of my tutorials I need to use a tablet and I have an iPad, but sometimes I need an Android device, and so I picked up a Galaxy Tab 6 light, and I'm going to box. It takes a quick look at it, and then I'll probably do a review later, not sure if I'm going to see what I think about it. First, let's unbox it and just take a look here. We go alright, so here we have it. This is the tab s6 light.

This is the Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 light. Let's just take a quick look around the box. Here we can see on the side here that it has an S Pen. So we know we are going to get S Pen support, which is pretty awesome on the back. Here, it's going to tell us what we get inside the packaging which says we're going to get the tab s6 light, which is a ten point.

Four-inch screen has a ten point. Four-inch screen we're also going to get an s, pin a wall and USB charger, a Quick, Start Guide and the Samsung terms and conditions terms of conditioners. There we go on this side is going to say just a little branding here on the box and yeah. So, lets uh, let's go ahead and get this thing open, there's a little of tape. So let me get my pocket knife here and let's get this thing open, let's pop through that tape there.

So let's get this! Let's get this box opened up here, see if we can get that off. Oh, did I miss a thing, a tape nope there we go alright, let's set that over there and let's take this out and well since we have this we'll just go ahead: we have the power, the power, brick and the cable here. This is going to be a USB cable, which is nice. Unfortunately, this still looks like it is only a'm, not sure which looks like a five volt or something it doesn't. Look like it's a fast-charging power, brick, which is kind of yeah I mean it's just blah I, don't know why they didn't do a fast-charging like a 30 watt or something like that, or you know, but they didn't.

So, let's toss that off to the side. Here we have a sim ejector so that we can actually add in a micro SD card, because you can use an external memory on this. So there's that we have the have the S pin here. So let's take a look at that so yeah. This thing's super, super light like in comparison to the Apple, the Apple Pencil.

This thing is super, super lightweight, so there's that and yeah I guess: that's it. There 's's nothing else in there. Alright, so set that stuff off to the side we'll set this over here. Oh also, if you guys want to know the paperwork's in here, so there's that don't people don't really care about that stuff too much so anyways. Let's take a look at the actual tablet here and see what this thing is going to look like.

So, let's see if we can get this out of here, so let's take this off, there's a little of a's a little sticky stuff there that we just have to peel back so that we can get it going. So, let's get that and let's see if we can get that there we go alright, so yeah, that's it! That is the 10.4 inch. It looks pretty nice there yeah. This is the is the oxford gray version here, so it's very close to black. It's very, very dark.

We can see here on the bottom of the. We can see there on the bottom that it actually has a USB, C port. There is a speaker here and there's also a speaker on the top here, so you are going to get. You are going to get stereo speakers, so you're going to get a speaker on the top and on the bottom, there so and you're also going to get a headphone jack so that you can actually use headphones on there. If that's something that you're interested in so one thing I do like about this- is that it's its very palpable.

As we can see here, it's very, very easy to hold and in your hand, one-handed. So, unlike some of the other tablets that are, you know like my iPad, which is a twelve point, nine inches. This thing you can actually hold in one hand I can't, I can hold my a pad in one hand if I'm holding it like this or something, but I can't really hold it in my hand, you know like this I can't palm if it's just too big, so this is really kind of nice. In that sense, so yeah I'm not sure if there's any juice in here, lets uh, let's go ahead and turn it on also I just want to show you there are on this side here there is a power button and then your volume, rocker and then down here we have the actual. We actually have the micro SD card slot there.

So, let's just go ahead and see if we have any juice in this at all, so we'll hit the power button and yep it is powering on there and let's see what it's gonna look like. You know, I've heard some people talk about the screen on this, and they say that the screen isn't as good. It's like the tab, the tab s es5, a believe which is an OLED screen or the s6, which is an OLED screen. So those are a little more expensive tablets. So it really depends on what you plan on using this, for I already have a really high-end tablet, with the air, with the iPad Pro twelve point, nine inches, so I didn't really need a super high-end tablet.

I just needed something to hold me over on the Android side, so yeah. So there we go it's up and running you could, it's if you were able to hear that it's starting to talk to me. It's going to guide me through the setup, so uh, yeah, I, think I'm going to go ahead, get this thing set up and try it out and see what I think about it. Okay, so now that I have the tablet fully setup, let me talk about a few features. One of them is the camera and there is an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera, and one thing I like about this is because this device is so probable.

It's very easy to hold the device out in front of you like this, and then you can go ahead and take selfies, so I can just hold it out. Push the volume button right there, which you can use as your shutter, and just that simply you can start taking pictures of yourself. It is very, very easy. Now there is also a five megapixel rear facing camera, as I mentioned, so I'll go ahead and turn this around, and you can go ahead and just put that there, and you can uh. You can just start taking pictures of yourself there this way, and then you can have your met.

Your front-facing selfie camera there. If you like so yeah, it works out really nicely now. This also does video. The tablet also does video, it doesn't shoot in 4k. It only shoots in 1080p, but it does 1080p full HD 1080p, with both the rear-facing and the front-facing camera.

So let's go ahead and see what the video looks like and what the microphone sound like with both the front and the rear camera I'm, now recording with the rear facing camera from the tab, s6 light, and it does record in Full HD, there's also a front-facing camera that records in Full HD as well. So let me go ahead and actually flip it around, and we'll see what it looks like recording from the front-facing camera. Alright, so I'm recording now with the tab, s6 light on the front facing camera and yeah. This thing works out really nicely: it's really. It's its small and light and easy to hold.

So it really is simple to record with if you're filming yourself, and you want to anyone actually film and because this tablet is not that big I, don't think you're going to look like a complete goofball if you're out in public recording with this now. One thing that you should remember with tablets and phones and all these mobile devices is that the camera is actually off to the side over here and so you're going to have to actually look off to the side, because if you don't, if you look at yourself on the screen like I'm doing right now, you're gonna, look like you're looking off to the side or wherever you're looking up to, so you're going to want to look over it off to the side at the camera into the camera, so it looks like you're you're right in front of it. But this is the tab. S6 light front-facing camera. And what do you think? Alright everyone? So there we have it.

That is a look at the Galaxy Tab s6 light and I have to say I like it so far. It is you know it's small, its light, it's thin. It is pretty powerful I, like the fact that it has stereo speakers top and bottom comes included with the span, so you don't have to pay extra. If you want that pin support, it has USB-C charging and data transfer is a front and rear camera and Full HD. You can shoot photos, you can shoot video, you can do the law on top of your photos and videos.

It really is pretty fantastic. I have to say, I, think it's going to be an enjoyable tablet to own, so yeah anyhow. This thing right now runs for about 349. If you're watching this at a later date, I have no idea what it's going to be, but that's what it is at launch, and I'm going to leave links to it down below in the video description so that you can check it out. I'm also going to leave links to my Amazon page and all my social media contacts.
