Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Vs Huawei Mate 40 Pro Vs Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra Camera Comparison

Hi, everyone Chris here welcome to a camera comparison, so we have the new Samsung s21 ultra with its 40 megapixel front, facing camera against the Huawei Mate 40 pro with a 13 megapixel front facing camera. You can see it has the widest angle, the widest field of view right here out of these three phones and then the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra with a 20 megapixel front facing camera. Now that one only shoots in 1080p maximum, so the two other phones can do 4k and even 4k 60 frames per second, but right now it is 4k 30. So which one has the best stability here, and what about the audio quality? I will be swapping over the audio sources, so we can listen to the microphones and find out which one of these records the best audio. So I'm gonna just turn around now we'll check on any problems with this panning around and then a light jog right now to see how well the electronic image stabilization works on all three of these phones, let's swap over to the rear cameras. Now this is 4k video now with the rear camera, so 108 megapixels on the galaxy s21 ultra.

We have 50 megapixels on the mate 40 pro and then a 48 megapixel main sensor on the me10 ultra, so they are using all too well. Two of them are using electronic and optical image stabilization, and we just have electronic image stabilization with the mate 40 pro. So I'm going to jog ahead very quiet here at the moment, because we have well lockdown conditions, uh and none of the bars and restaurants are open either. So that's why it is so quiet around here. I've never seen it so quite before panning around which one exhibits the most butter, so some data will come through, especially with 4k when you pan around with the adjustment of the exposure and often happens jogging hit again and let's move over now to our zoom cameras.

So five times optical on the v10 ultra and five times optical on the mate 40 pro and ten times optical with the Samsung s21 ultra I'm going to walk ahead now, so we can test which one here has the best image. Stabilization, these zoom cameras move back. So all three of these are mounted in the same tripod all on the latest firmware updates. So it is as even as it can be right here, I'm just going to slowly move down as well see which one captures this the best, the detail there on that plaque on the wall. This is 4k 60 frames per second now we'll do a bit of a test.

Two of the focus I haven't noticed any issues on all three of these phones with the main cameras. Their focus performance has been very good, so I'm just going to lightly jog here down these steps- and let me know in the comments which one you think has the best image stabilization here: ultra-wide video now across all three of them: 4k 30 frames per second panning around. Are they going to exhibit any judder these, and I am just going to walk ahead? It's just a light jog at the moment and a sprint see which one is the steadiest out of these three phones here and like video. So this is 4k 30 frames per second, with our main cameras, difficult conditions for these tiny sensors, which one here is going to look the best has the best stability. I walk ahead, so I'm just going to go across the road here.

It's a little lighter in this area, so it should feel a little better across all three and as far as I can tell so far, just looking at the screens, I think the 48 megapixel sensor on the me10 ultra or the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is looking the best for low light video. Now a quick jogger here too, as well. Why not front facing video so only 1080p on the Xiaomi? It is the worst in terms of the video resolution, not being the sharpest of course, but under these conditions, it's not going to matter too much. All three of them aren't exactly looking good bit of noise in the background when you look up here at the sky, so hey, so it won't take too long here. But to recap my findings, I think front facing vlog footage.

The best was the s20 ultra with the details, but the autofocus was off at times the mate 40 pro well. It did actually fit a lot more in the shot due to a wider field of view. It didn't have the best stabilization, which kind of ruined it there. The mi 10 ultra stabilization was very, very good, but it's only 1080p on that one. That's with the front-facing cameras.

So when it came to the rear cameras, then for video performance, I'm talking about right now. I think it was definitely the 10 ultra just the best stabilization out there, the s20 on ultra video, I find the 4k and the 4k 30 and 60 to be a little disappointing. It has a low bit rate, the lost bit rate of all three of these phones and a little of grain to it as well. So, and even the stabilization wasn't as good as the b10 ultra and even the mate 40 pro times. So not that great there ultra-wide video that I think was the s21 ultra look better and the meteor ultra has problems and has had and will continue to have problems with the ultra-wide for video, because it's always got a focus issue.

If you don't lock it, it will pulse in and out all the time hunting for focus. Then the zoom cameras with video meteor ultra very, very stable. It has a 48 megapixel count, and it seemed to aid it a little with the video quality, the s21 ultra, all over the place with shakiness the mate 40 pro wasn't exactly wonderful, either so zoom camera, the meteor ultra, got a win there as well and okay. Let's talk about low light video, then low light video performance. Well, I think the me10 ultra was slightly better and now on to stills.

So starting out portrait shots. I think at a distance portrait, shots were best on the me10 ultra and then the portrait selfies best on the s21 ultra, but the stitching wasn't really that amazing, especially if you have sunglasses, and you're here, it's gonna really make a mess of that. The mate 40 pro- I don't know what happened here. I think I must not have had it on portrait mode, but I'm certain I did have it on portrait mode. It just didn't seem to work for some reason there and then daytime stills across all of them.

Very, very close. I think the ultra-wide, the s21 ultra or the meteor ultra the best colors was the mate 40 pro and this the main senses for our stills again very, very close, but I think I actually preferred the 10 ultra and a lot of those photos. I think it looked a little better there and then the low light low, like very, very close trading blows between the s21 ultra the mate 40 pro and the 10 ultra at times. If I had to select an overall winner for the low light photography, it would have to be the s 21 ultra, just a little more detail a little sharper, and it just seemed to nail a few more shots more than the others there. So that's my camera comparison.

I hope you did like it. Thank you. So much for watching I will, in the channel, have a full review that I'm working on of the s21 ultra. So I hope to see you back then bye for now.
