Samsung Galaxy Note 20 / Note 20 Ultra - TOP 10 FEATURES!

What's up guys, Shane stars here and note season is finally upon us. Samsung will be officially announcing these in just a few days, and we should have them in our hands by August 20th. We know just about everything there is to know these are the top 10 new features of the Galaxy Note 20 and note 20 ultra. Let's go ahead and get started. The first new feature on the note.20 series is gorilla glass 7. Now I know it doesn't seem like a huge deal, we're only going from gorilla glass, 6 to gorilla, glass, 7, but corny says that now we get six and a half feet of drop protection, so you can actually drop this phone from head height, and it's not going to break, and they've also said that you should be able to drop the phone 15 or more times without the screen cracking or being damaged.

Not only does it provide us with drop protection, but they've increased they've actually doubled scratch resistance from gorilla glass, six, so we're going to have added scratch resistance and added drop protection, and that's going to make gorilla glass 7 a huge new feature. As far as design is concerned, this is going to look almost identical to last year's Galaxy Note, 10, plus we get that same square design with the hole punch cutout. We are going to have a square camera array on the back which we'll get into that a little more later. On the note 20 ultra, we still have a dual curved edge display, while on the note 20 it's more of a flat display. The note 20 ultra has a slightly larger display at 6.9 inches versus last year's note, 10 plus at 6.8 inches, and we also get a new color option. I'm looking forward to this mystic bronze color.

This is going to be a matte finish, which means no more nasty fingerprints on that glossy glass back like we had last year with a note, 10 plus, you can actually use this phone without a case and not have to worry about those awful fingerprints. The note 20 ultra will also feature 120 hertz display the refresh rate on this makes the phone feel insanely fast. It's really hard to go from 120 hertz back down to 60 hertz. The only setback here is that Samsung's still not going to allow us to use HD plus while we're using the 120hz. So you are going to have to use that at 1080p and that's due to the fact that they don't have that special processor that allows that to happen on the note 20 plus.

Maybe that feature will come later in next year's s lineup. But for me, I feel like it's totally worth it to step down to 1080p, to have that 120 hertz refresh rate, it really does make all the difference. The note 20 ultra is expected to be slightly thicker, going from 7.9 millimeters on the note 10 plus to 8.1 millimeters on the note 20 ultra, but that is to make room for a bigger battery. Last year we had a 4 300 William hour battery on the note 10 plus this year, we're stepping it up to a 4 500 William hour battery. On the Galaxy Note 20 ultra.

This should give us a little extra juice to go along with that 120 hertz display one of the main features of the Galaxy Note.20 ultra is going to be that rear camera array. So we've got three lenses, one of those lenses being a 108 megapixel lens we're going to have up to 50 by space zoom on this. This will also include the 10 by and 30 by hybrid zoom, that we saw on the galaxy s20 ultra, which, if you asked me that was the very best feature that 10 by hybrid zoom, it just looked like you were taking a standard shot on zoom, so there was basically no loss of quality in that 10 by zoom, and it was one of my favorite features on the s20 ultra. So I'm super excited to see this on the note 20 ultra. Some of you may be a little leery about having the ultra camera setup on the note 20.

After all, the issues that we had with the camera on the s20 ultra, but no worries Samsung has improved autofocus they've brought laser autofocus back to the note 20 ultra lineups. You don't have to worry about those autofocus issues that we had with the s20 ultra another feature coming from the s20 ultra is 8k video recording we're also going to have 8k video recording on the note 20 ultra, so that is also another improvement in video recording. Of course, this will be the fastest smartphone that Samsung's ever released with a snapdragon, 865 plus processors and 12 gigabytes of ram. We're going to see a major performance improvement from the Galaxy Note, 10 plus, and we're going to see even better efficiency in battery life. Coming from last year's note, lineup, of course the note lineup is not the note lineup without the s pen, and there are some actual updates coming to the s pen, the s pen is also going to double as a pointer.

So if you're doing some kind of presentation from your note, 20 you'll be able to actually use the s pen to highlight things on the screen. Overall, this looks like a pretty major update and I can't wait to get the Galaxy Note 20 ultra in my hands, that about wraps it up for this video guys, thanks for watching, be blessed I'll, see you in the next.
