OnePlus 8 Pro versus Galaxy S20 Plus camera comparison By Phandroid

Hey, what's going on guys, I'm Nick, Griffith, Android and today, I am back with another smartphone camera comparison. This time around I asked you guys which device you would like to see compared with the all-new 1 + 8 Pro, and the winner of the poll was the Samsung Galaxy s 20 plus now these two devices, the galaxy s 20 plus, and the one plus a pro- have perfect cameras. But there are some unique differences between the hardware between these two devices. So, let's take a look at the specifications Before we jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons. We're going to start things off with the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus, and it's quad camera setup on the back of the phone, which features a 12 megapixel main sensor: 64 megapixel, 3x, hybrid zoom, 12, megapixel, ultra-wide and then finally, a time-of-flight depth sensor and then ups front for its front-facing camera. You get a 10 megapixel sensor, capable of recording 4k video at up to 30.

Sorry 60 frames per second, while the rear cameras can do that as well. In addition to 8k video from its main sensor and on the OnePlus April, you also get a quad camera setup on the back of the phone, but the configuration here is significantly different from what we saw on the galaxy s: 20 plus with 248 megapixel sensors for the standard and ultra-wide cameras, an 8, megapixel, 3x, hybrid zoom and then a 5, megapixel, color, filter camera and then up front. There's a 16 megapixel, front-facing selfie camera that can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second, while the rear cameras max out at 4k 60fps. Now that we have the specifications of these two smartphones, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons to see how they perform in a variety of different lighting conditions. And just as a reminder, everything that you see here is recorded with the front-facing cameras and rear cameras of these smartphones.

So keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which cameras are being used as much before you do get 4k video capture from the rear cameras on both of these devices, from all three of the sensors being able to switch dynamically between the ultra-wide then to the main sensor and then again, cue the 3x hybrid zoom, on both of these devices on the fly while recording, which is a feature that not all devices currently have, even though a lot of phones do have triple camera setups on the back of them. While these two devices are pretty well-matched when recording video from the rear cameras when it comes to the front-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus, does have a big advantage, mainly with its 4k video capture, at up to 60 frames per second, which is pretty impressive compared to the 1 plus 8 1080p. But you also get a wider field of view. As you can see here, a lot more into the shot which you're taking selfies is definitely helpful. When you only have an arm likes to go, take it the distance between you and the camera you, and this should give you a good idea of what to expect for low-light video capture from both of these devices.

Just as a reminder, the OnePlus 8 pro still only does 1080p at 30 frames per second, while the video that you're looking at right now is being recorded from the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 + @ 4k, 30fps and that's gonna.
