Samsung Galaxy A71 Review!

What is going on everyone. My name is Kevin, and today I am bringing you the Samsung Galaxy a 71 review. This device is a step-up from the 51 we just checked out last week, I'm going to cover all the main features about the phone. Answering your questions to tell you the pros and cons. First up is a quick rundown of the 71 s main features. This device has a beautiful 6.7 inch, AMOLED display with a hole-punch camera cutout, it's housing for rear camera lenses, a very large 4,500 million power, battery Snapdragon processor and some key features which we don't even find in much more expensive flagship devices with its mid-range price tag, I had lowered my expectations for the performance of the phone multiprocessor and the chipset are no slouch that paired with the fact that it's running Android 10 on top of Samsung's one UI version to make this a pretty good competitor to the top offerings from Huawei, one plus and Xiaomi. Like the 70 I reviewed last year, this has face recognition unlock in addition to the on-screen scanner, a headphone jack and a micro SD card slot over time.

I have grown more fond of these features, as someone who's recently put down my iPhone entirely to switch over to Android. Again, there is great GSM compatibility with this phone, and it's a dual SIM, but that's probably not. We are most interested in hearing. So let's talk about that display. The six point seven inch display is Samsung's, wonderful, Super, AMOLED panel with deep blacks and good color saturation on natural display mode.

It's not too over saturated, like some other Samsung phones, but if you like that extra saturation, that's what the vivid display mode is for it has a pixel density of 393 on a resolution of 1080 by 2400 on a display of this size that pixel density is still fantastic. I really can't see anyone complaining about that in terms of design. The most notable difference between this phone and the 51 is the size of the camera cut out. Here, it's a little bigger and there's a lot more to talk about. That's why I'm making a whole dedicated video on that comparison? If you want see that one of drops makes sure you're subscribed with notifications turned on for that, let's take a quick glance at the box and package contents.

It comes with a soft CPU clear case, a 3 m fast charger this time around. It's USB c2c charging, and this is definitely my preferred charging cable type, no doubt about it. Besides that we get the paperwork for instructions and the earbuds. In that case, I mentioned that actually comes in the box with the phone is highly appreciated for when you just pull the phone out of the box, you don't want to get any scratches on it, but I really had to get a better case than that. Casey's ology makes the crystal case and vault cases, which are a good balance between highly protective and something you can actually use without too much bulk.

Personally, I use the Casey logy vault case, more often on the seventy-one and a fifty-one, but both cases will be linked in the description below alongside the phone itself for several regions. The reason why I highly recommend getting a case for the series phones is because Samsung is still using the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, it's not the top of the line glass. It is, however, strong enough to withstand impact with a case on the back of the device is plastic again here we have the rainbow effect on all the color variants, but black just looks the nicest to me. Alright, my friends. It is now time to talk about the performance of the Samsung Galaxy, a 71 inside this phone.

We have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 processor, with the Adrian 618 graphics, that is an outscore chipset. It's eight nanometers and a lot of tech enthusiasts are going to be happy to hear that, because I've been hearing the claim over and over that, these Samsung Enos chips, the actual processors, the Samsung themselves produced for these phones slow down over time and don't hold up as well as the Qualcomm chips. Now personally, I can't agree or disagree with this, because I haven't had a phone with an axial chip for a long enough to tell you. I do have the 51 with an X Enos chip, so I'll give you the update on that later on, but ask for the performance of this phone. It is nothing short of fantastic.

All of my favorite game. Titles were playable at the highest setting the usual FPS titles like Call of Duty and gee, that you see me playing in almost every review. No overheating on this phone either. Thankfully, general speed and performance of my daily tasks were about as smooth as a top-end flagship phone. I am glad to report that the battery efficiency and gaming is also good.

These FPS games at high settings actually didn't drain. My battery as fast as I would have thought. My only complaint with the gaming experience is that many apps just are not optimized for this display. Now it's not jarring, but it is, however, a shame that quite a few of these apps and games won't be taking advantage of this aspect ratio for a while. Now, aside from that, there are two variants of this phone one with 8 gigabytes of RAM and one with 6 I have the lower to your 6 gigabyte.

Ram model I think that's what most of you are looking into getting or already have, and personally I think that's going to be enough for me. I, don't really know anyone! That's going to need 8 gigabytes of RAM on a phone as I mentioned earlier, the 71 is housing for camera lenses. The main lens is Samsung's 64 megapixel gw1 sensor. It has an aperture of f-18 and even with a smaller sensor, size photos have a decent depth of field which gives them a more professional look than most of the other. A series phone's sharpness in photos was also good.

I can't wait to show you that comparison between the 71 and the 51 not only the cameras but also the day-to-day performance, the specs pretty much everything you'd want to know, including the battery life. But if you want to see other comparisons like the 71 versus the 70 from last year, a comment down below would go a long way to gauge your interest in what you want to see these comparisons or other videos entirely. If you want both I can also do that. Two videos taken on the 71 are usable now, there's no optical stabilization, but software. It does a good enough job for some use cases.4K recording is an option with 30 frames per second and the option of super slow motion is there with high frame rate, the other lenses are for macro ultra-wide and the depth scanning for portrait blur images. None of these three other lenses actually produce eye-catching images.

The macro lens is far beneath my expectation, as is the quality of the ultra-wide camera. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that they're here, and it enables you to take your mobile photography further, but it's clear that the cost savings have been significant on the rear. Camera selfies, on the other hand, are impressive. There is a regular selfie focal length and a wide-angle mode to fit in extra people in the frame. The 4500 million power battery in the galaxy, a 71, is the same battery capacity that was found in its predecessor, the galaxy, a 70 here, it's just as equally impressive it'll easily get me through the first day and more often than not, I'll have enough juice left to get halfway through that following day.

This is with medium to heavy use. I have made some adjustments to save battery such as dark mode. I'm, not, however, going out of my way to preserve battery and that's to say, it'll definitely have some favorable results for most people out there. Unfortunately, we don't have the option of wireless charging, but the included 3 amp fast chargers gets this phone powered up in no time. Oh, and there's this other Cone I have to talk about.

The lack of an IP rating in this phone makes it so that, if you submerge the phone for longer than 15 seconds, or you're in high humidity place for long periods of time, you're really risking it here. I would not recommend that at all, but a light, splash of water, let's say tap water should be fine. The biometrics on this phone, both the fingerprint scanner speed and the face unlock, were no different from the cheaper, a 51 with this generation of upgrades. The change in design is welcomed in every aspect. The incremental speed improvement is a good step forward and the devices cost is, in my opinion, reasonable I just happen to think that the previous generation phones are already good enough and if you don't share my opinion, you're best off skipping the entire budget series phones and just get a flagship or the Galaxy Note 10.1 for myself, but now that we're wrapping up the review of the 71, I, gotta, say I'm honestly, going to keep both and the comparison of these phones is gonna, be one that you do not want to miss. I got other videos in the works for you guys.

Not only am I reviewing the galaxy s 20, but I've picked up some phones that I that you don't even know about if you're excited for what's to come on this channel make sure your subscribe — with notifications turned on for that liking. The video also helps me justify buying all these phones and I appreciate that more than you know. Thank you so much for watching this. Video and I will talk to you in the next one.
