Pixel 2 versus HTC U11+ (U11 Plus): camera shootout

Hi I'm the grape and welcome back to another one of my smartphone camera shootouts. Today, I'm going to be comparing the HTC. U 11, plus against the pixel two, as you can see in the bottom left hand, corner I'm, recording this on the HTC. U 11, plus and I'll, be recording this entire video with the two devices so make sure you keep an eye on that bottom left-hand corner to see which device is being used for the video clips. This should give you some insight into a video quality that you can get from these two devices, while recording with the front and rear facing camera, and also what the audio quality can be. So keep that in mind.

The device you're looking at here is the HTC. U 11 plus, and it has a 12 megapixel camera on the back with optical image, stabilization phase, detect autofocus and a dual LED flash and the lens that it's paired with is an F 1.7 wins when we switch over to the front-facing camera you're. Looking at an 8 megapixel sensor, that's paired with an F 2.0 lens, which should let, in a decent amount of light for low-light images. On the back of the pixel ?, you have a 12 point, two megapixel sensor that has phased detect autofocus and a dual LED flash optical image stabilization and an F 1.8 lens on the front. Here you have an 8 megapixel sensor as well, but this one actually features larger pixels than the u 11 Plus does.

Unfortunately, there is a little of a downgrade since the sensor is paired with an F 2.4 lens, letting in a little less light than what the u 11 Plus does now. We all know that specs never tell the full story when it comes to camera performance. So let's see some side-by-side comparisons to show you what these phones can actually in daytime shots. The differences between these two devices are really subtle, but the pixel two does show its advantage in nighttime shots and also portraits the HTC. U 11 plus, does have a perfect 12 megapixel main sensor and front-facing camera, but it's not quite as good as where you get with the pixel -.

Don't forget to share your thoughts about the cameras on these two devices in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching. If you enjoyed this video I hope you give it a thumbs up, I'll catch you guys in the next one you.
