Samsung Galaxy A51 Unboxing - A Plastic Beauty By Geeky Stuff

Hi guys welcome back to the channel today. I have the galaxy a 51 and will be unboxing this bad boy. Having a closer look, this is a mid-range device from Samsung 329 pound on Amazon UK prices may differ, they have a four gig and six gigabyte versions, and this is the contents of the box. I went with the white, a 51 USB type-c earphones and a 3 pin charging block, which does support fast charging. You don't get a case in here, but you do get a SIM tray a jet at all. So let's take a closer look at the 51 that feels really nice.

It was quite thin. The back is made of plastic. There is a plastic frame as well plastic frame plastic body, although it does look and feel quite solid as if it's a metal frame, but it is actually plastic. They see the back has a lovely sort of rainbow shimmer. On the back of the phone, which looks pretty nice, doesn't if it's got a slight curve around the back edges as well.

So it just feels nice in the hand, feels perfect for my size hands as well. It's around the body, 3.5 mm, socket USB, type-c loudspeaker and a microphone power and volume rocker the top another microphone and at the side we have a SIM tray. Now this can house two NATO Sims, which is good. You have dual sim operating now we have the quad camera setup. There we go, so you have a main 48 megapixel wide lens, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel macro and a 5 megapixel depth sensor, and you can also see flashlights in there as well.

If you look at the galaxy s 20, which has just been launched, they do look quite similar from the back the quad camera set up on the s20 as well swing around to the front. You have a 32 megapixel front facing camera. Let's turn it on. This is running Android 10 and also the 1 UI 2 is powered by the Zionists 9 611 outscore, CPU, Marley, G, 72 and 4 gigabytes of RAM. First impressions are pretty good, looks a really nice smart device.

There are a few colors available. There's a white there's, a black I believe there's a blue, color I think there's a some more as well continent, but what they are exactly, but no, they look really nice, ok setup time, and you can also see the Infinity Oh display, which looks really nice. So let me go and set this up so here she is guys 6.5 inch, super AMOLED affinity display on the 51. It has Gorilla Glass 3, not the latest version of Gorilla Glass, but there's still some security there. In terms of scratches and marks that you might get on this device, the display obviously looks really, really nice.

We also have full gesture control as well, which you can set within the display. Settings, go down to navigation bar full screen gestures, or you can have the navigation buttons entirely up to you. So you get the normal applications on the Galaxy, get a little the galaxy bloatware Samsung global goals, game launcher, galaxy story even get Netflix on there as well and Samsung pay, which is okay, but it's not a complete stock Android experience because obviously the one UI too over-the-top, but it does seem nippy, which is good right. I, want to look at this camera jump into that, so we're in normal photo mode. Let's go shoot that and as you'd expect perfect quality and, lets puts backdrop, I wanted to an ultra wide-angle lens.

So the ultra-wide option is there with the three trees. Both there we go. Let's try that again, decent quality I'll see that you do lose a little of quality with the ultra-wide angle, lens photos, the clothes are back or a little darker, but overall it's pretty good. So when you go to the more settings, it's really get a lot more to play with, but I want to look at the macro setting hold your camera three to five centimeters away. Let's get on these ridges here so closer we can get in there.

Like to go back to photo mode and look the same distance, normal lens obviously cannot focus, go back to macro and bang that looks really nice and looking at the picture. Yeah, that's good, so rear video size. It can shoot up to Ultra HD, so 4k 2160 I'm, going to keep it at 1080p. Just have a video stabilization as well. That's good and aspect ratios 9 16.

You have a few available there. I'm gonna, keep it at 9 at 16, we'll turn the flash off no 16 super steady on as well I'm going to turn it off, though, and I'm going to shoot. Okay, so we're on the rear camera on the guy CA 51 filming at 1080p, with image stabilization enabled, and it does look and feel smooth as well. Let me know what you guys think so much yeah that was pretty good and down to the camera. Autofocus yeah.

What I mean the quality is pretty good. Actually yeah focusing is great, so they'll be darker that maybe I'd like it's a painting. There is actually the lighter with the naked either the issue this with the camera I will get. A quality is good. Let's switch now to a selfie camera.

See me there, I want to switch to photo mode, and you can do ultra-wide on the front as well. I'm going to keep it normal, and I'm going to take a selfie with my camera and shot yeah. That's excellent! Really! Really nice, let's jump to live focus! It's got my face. It's tracking! Furthermore, it's ready! Furthermore, it is ready. So here I am and ready.

Yeah, I mean the quality is good. The edge detection around the top of my hair, slightly missed out there and then the camera at the front. You see that near my t-shirt, I'll try a normal one. Okay, so again we're at the top. My hair is not completely perfect, but the quality is good.

Okay. So now in video mode from the facing video, let's have a look at this at 1080p. Okay, guys we're now shooting at 1080p on the Galaxy. A 51 quality looks good yeah, that's good side points. I'm sure is gonna, be excellent as well yeah.

It looks. Looks very good from here guys know you guys think okay, so that was a look at the quad camera setup and, like I, thought pretty impressive, really, the quality of the cameras for this mid-range smartphone. This has got on-screen fingerprint sensor, I should just say at the bottom: let's try it that's good. A few more goes. Okay, no problem of this is trying to find where the fingerprint sensor is and open a huge fan of on-screen fingerprint sensors.

Okay I mean it seems to be accurate, it's not the fastest by any means, so you can also wake it like that, and you'd also get a that's pretty neat. Isn't it a nice 3d sort of wallpaper at the start, you can see the fingerprint sensor icon there at the bottom, so I think it's a little quicker that way, yeah, but it's accurate, and it works, and I really like that. Okay, let's take a look at some video okay, so the display is 1080p 6.5 inch, Super AMOLED display- and this again looks tremendous. You can just see the Infinity Oh display the little cutout. Obviously, when shots like this, that gets hidden, so it was like a proper full screen experience on some content that looks really nice bit of greenery there to finish off.

We can boost the brightness all the way up, so there's only sort of half brightness look at that looks even better Wow, beautiful, okay, let's test the loudspeaker, which I'm sure is gonna, be good as well yeah. It absolutely no doubt on the sound quality and the absolute loudness of the galaxy. A 51 Samsung's loudspeakers have all been always been great. When I've been testing them a nice kick to it, it's not tinny a good blend of all different frequencies, sometimes I wonder if there's any point even testing the loudspeaker, but yeah it's great. So this is the end of my unboxing video guys, the galaxy, a 51, a mid-range device from Samsung 128 gigabytes of storage, four gigs of RAM, but you can't get the six gig of ram version as well.
