Alright guys welcome back to another video shin mange, so we've got the Redmi Note 9 today we're going to go ahead and put this up on a chopping block. This is really close to the 9s in a lot of ways, but this one is about $20, cheaper, so or more affordable, I should say, but it's Jesus I'm only so no Verizon Sprint Boost Mobile any of those, and this will be an interesting one for me to take a look at comes in three colors comes in a white blue, absolutely white gray, and this is for screen right here. Let's crack this open here, rear camera is 48 megapixels and the front camera. The main shooter is 14 inches from the first time has made shooter 13 megapixels. So this will be interesting to test out now. This video is sponsored by Wireless place, Calm, be sure to hit the link in description to grab yours I'll, get them sending over the phone for review and I will have it for a short period of time, and then I will send it back.
So obviously you get a case in here with the regular manuals and everything like that and put that to the side. I'll grab the phone up here. This is very close, and I do have my Redmi Note that I purchased from them on the desk over here. So it's these four strings. That is a beautiful color.
It looks exactly like my Redmi Note: 9 s, contents of the box. You know nothing, nothing, fancy! So let's get this powered up, and I'm going to take photos. Video I'll do it. Let me describe my read me know my 9s real quick. This is a kind of, but this looks like a kind of matte feel on the nine and this one is a little, obviously a little more shiny, but it's still pretty much.
Almost the same looks almost the same. You know if you got sketcher led off to the side over there, but the camera set up. If you held these side-by-side, you wouldn't know that one was which now on the front. Obviously, you've got the camera over to the side on the top corner, on the left and in the red -. You have it in the center, so you know it's about whether it really you know that I like it like that or not, and then you have the power button with the fingerprint reader on the 9s and that's put the 9s aside for just a second.
This is interesting, I mean because Xiaomi is putting out so many phones and by the way this phone comes in at 30, X 64 or a four gig 128, and this is in fact the three gig 64, so you know, look I get this set up. I want you to see the screen know what it looks like, and this is um. This is pretty nice metal skip through here, I'm going to skip through, and I'll skip a network for now, just so I can get into the two the device, because really I'm, just going to be checking tell them a mile comparison with it. Next to my current beast here from Xiaomi, so we'll accept all of this we'll get it set up. Pretty nice at their, you know trying something new: let's do a fingerprint we'll do a pen.
This is pretty sweet, nothing, a pro reader in the power button. You know I'm saying so, but you do have the headphone jack and you have the type C speaker down there. This body is kinda like up one piece: it's like flowing around the device, so let's just go to five eight zero. My guess I don't know just make up something, and then you can see here. The finger Peter is kind of like under the camera in this little section right here, so I think that's a pretty cool way to hide.
The fingerprint reader looks like it sets up really fast man. This is a spy gonna, be a fast fingerprint reader wow, that's a pretty fast Genaro reader. So let's go ahead and go pass. All of this and I always choose limitless. I like limitless for the starter default, and it'll apply, and then once you get into this is what It's going to be like.
Alright, so we are back in and here's the phone it's nice and clean on your desktop. This is what you're going to get, so this phone actually has the Hello g85, and this is actually considered a gaming, a gaming processor believe it or not. Just like the Hello June 90. This is considered a gaming processor, so I'm really curious to see how this is gonna, be when it comes to shooting off some games and I guess: I'll show you, but for now I really wanted to get some photos off and some videos off and just you know, show you what it looks like so getting into the phone here. As you can see, you got the same setup here.
Let's see we probably got this bloatware from Facebook's will uninstall that you've got LinkedIn, which is another one, that I don't like to you and then the office of Netflix, obviously I legit, then you've got some games here. I've learned that in the last few phones- let's turn the brightness up here in the last few phones that I've gotten from Xiaomi the these games. There's been a lot of games installed on here, and you know that's just what it is. You got your tools, as you can see here. I mean you got your that me browser.
You got the assistant right there, the video weather but blah blah, and then you've got obviously the Google folder here I like to take out the Google podcast app on there. Now. So, let's go into settings real, quick, and then I'll show you the cameras, and things like that so on here. Obviously, you've got the'm pretty sure once I'd fire. This up is going to have an update.
Let's go to a battle font, let's see here. So it's on the April security patch right now, and it is Android 10. So I know that once I get into the Wi-Fi turn Wi-Fi on it's going to go ahead and uh, it's not going to do an update more than likely, so I don't know this. Is it's going to stink for not hiding? Well, so you can actually turn this off. Okay, I! Don't know that I like that too much I would rather have the full screen, but you obviously can do hide and move the bar I.
Don't know why you'd want to do that. That is weird but yeah. That is weird man, but I just happened to notice that, like whoa ISO, better indicator next time, I can't always have it like that I'm just kind of rolling through the settings here, man. This is what I was looking for to near switch. My back buttons here, I like my back buttons over there when in VR Wow, so this'll it'll be some kind of gaming device sleek.
Let's go back to display notice, not that let's go to color scheme, and you can see here, you can go default, warm or cool saturated, always enhanced, colors, see ghost you can do, and you can do standard whoa yeah. Let's switch it back soon, Auto! So yeah! Wonderful did you guys, see dark mobile and there's dark mode motors online wow? That is, that is nice really nice? Alright, alright! So back into settings here you got your SIM card security status system, LA's, Wi-Fi Bluetooth! This doesn't have NFC, no I, don't think besides I see I, don't believe this has NFC no, but it does have Bluetooth, 5.0 and I our bus tour and an FM radio and dual-band GPS. So that's pretty good! You can always steam your devices with Xiaomi I love that they have it like that, I think that's important battery performance additional settings time don't go wrong. Oh yeah, the typical, the typical Xiaomi device and that's not a bad thing. That's not a bad thing at all! I'm really ready to test out this processor and to see if it's going to you know really be a good gaming processor.
So keep watching these cameras, though down Sonic, alright guys. So here's a quick sample. That's came inside in the hallway and shoot some 1080p this shoots at 1080p, 30 on front and rear. So if you are looking for something to shoot, 4k, probably one look elsewhere, because this one doesn't shoot 4k but the same quality. This is what you get it's the front camera alright.
Now here's the rear camera, another quick sample of how this phone could do. Japanese phones normally have perfect microphones, so I'm curious to see how this is going to be once I get it up on computer and give us some more testing, so I decided to fire up asphalt, 9. Obviously, just to kind of see get a feel of how this processor could do with this game. Overall, we'll say so far with the cameras they're decent. You know it's not something that I'm just going to be wowed by I can tell.
But here is the gaming a little of gaming see the smoothness of the gaming processor how's it doing its doing pretty good, pretty decent music processors I used to frown on them all the time, but now it's just kind of like why not they might as well get a shot like everybody else. Let's get this flick, going, Oh I think it's doing pretty good I mean for what it is. I mean I, don't I, don't think it's doing too bad that kinda I thought I saw some frames drop at the beginning, but other than that, it's not the smoothest, gameplay I would say, but it's definitely a gaming processor from what I could tell if you handle that Media Tech and gaming weren't, always something that you saw in the same sentence now loading this game. Definitely it didn't take Adel a long time to load, but it just a little bit slower than normal. But let's get out of here and slowed up from Dungeon Hunter, 5 I haven't started this game at all.
Just downloaded both of them, and I was like you know: I'm going to go ahead and get this loaded up. This could take a long time, so I don't want to I, don't make you go through the process of waiting, but this this this is a 12 nanometer chip in here for all those techies out there who are really tech-savvy, so I mean it's gotta be fast enough, I mean 12 nanometers. You see people companies now with seven animated, 5, nanometer and people don't seem to think those 212 is any good anymore. I, don't understand that logic, but you know I'm looking at the specs, and it says that this phone does record in 4k, but I couldn't seem to find 4k so, and I said: I went to the video studies directly, and I only saw 1080p and 720p, but Dungeon Hunter is actually loading up faster than I thought. It would, to be honest, I mean I got the brightness at full.
The phone is not warm to the touch at all, looks like it's good nah, not at all, don't see any kind of nothing. So this is like this is an unibody design —, it's kind of weird how I got the back, there's Cullen in size a different color, and it is in fact an unibody design, such yes I'm sure, I'm, just testing you I could install this I forgot. I, don't have to do this, but this is what you're getting ready to expect for four games. This is what you can expect. I noticed that the Play Store when I was in the Play Store downloading the games I was like manse is taking forever to download, but it was actually downloading in the background, and I was looking for it.
I was like what is it game, and it was. It was downloading I swiped down, it was actually downloading it closed out. The Play Store for some reason, and I was like okay, yeah I, guess, I can't download the game and then, after the fact I saw it. I was like: oh, it downloaded the background, so that's kind of strange I, don't know if that's the normal process for this phone, but hey I, think some people might be freaked out by that. So let's get this game loaded man, so I can get a little of gameplay for you.
Let's skip this. Just go down here, right, all right, so bright that my camera cut off while I was playing looks like, so you probably missed a little of footage, but the phone is good to say at least the processor is its good, and I mean I, don't I don't have any doubts on the processor not being able to play games, but for a hundred seventy-five bucks? What do you expect? I think it's going to be good enough for a lot of people, so I want to do a quick walkthrough and play some games with you. Guys on this thing, show you some photos and show you the phone. Let's skip this, let's get busy where's! Yet are you going to get him now there? It is he's done, for he is done for you try to get me all right. Let's get him he's done, he's done so the nine the note 9 and the 9s.
You know this one is said to have a gaming processor. This is why I'm showing you games, but other than that man I, don't I, don't think that this phone is gonna, do bad at all most of the masses. I went on ahead and took photos for you shot a little video, not so much impressed with. But hey it's good enough for me. So there it is man asphalt, 9 done hunter 5, the Redmi Note 9 175 bucks links in the description.
See you the next one. Take care.
