The Conspiracy Against the M1 iPad Pro - Apple News - Granted Geek Show

What's, going on geeks put on your conspiracy theory hats, because today, I'm going to tell you about a conspiracy against the iPad Pro that it seems like everyone's in on before we get started, happy Star Wars day and uh hit the subscribe button, click the bell and share the video. If you agree with this and make sure you stay till the end, because at the end of the video I'm going to talk about what I really think, the future of all devices is going to be, I'm Chris grant jr it's the granite, geek show okay. So if I told you right now, I could give you a powerful machine that could be the form factor of a desktop when you needed it, a laptop when you needed it and a tablet. If you needed it, would you not be intrigued? Well, you should be especially for professionals, because, typically we need three things and that's power, flexibility and versatility. We need to be able to get as much done as possible wherever we are as quickly as possible and quickly before you type the comment about never ever wanting to see touch on a Mac. I have a quick solution for you, don't touch the screen, you don't touch the screen, it's not a touchscreen mac.

You can use it as usual, but for those who need to touch for graphic design or what have you it can be, and that's really the point is that the iPad can be almost anything you want it to be at any. Given time heck you want to talk versatility, it can even be an iPhone if you really need it to be now. Of course, I understand that software has been the main thing holding back the iPad Pro from truly becoming a professional's go-to device and that's a reasonable claim. There are a lot of things software wise that the iPad just can't do even with the m1 chip, but what you cannot ignore is that they have been taking meaningful steps in that direction for years now. Are you going to say that a thunderbolt port is not for professionals? How about the Dr display, or even the m1, which is in the 13-inch MacBook Pro? You have to remember that hardware is always the precursor to software.

It's like why release Adobe Premiere for a Motorola, racer flip phone- it's not going to be used at all. The hardware can't even begin to fathom, what's necessary, to run a software like that and the iPad Pro hardware wise, is this close, and so then you'll have professionals saying I don't know what this device is for, who it's for? Who would even use this um hold on ring ring uh, it's for you, m1 Dr thunderbolt! These are all well, you could argue m1, but these are all pro level hardware choices. WWDC is just around the corner, the biggest software event apple holds and with hardware being the precursor to software. You really don't think that they are setting up the iPad Pro m1 for some serious software changes from the interface file system to professional apps. You know I'll get comments all the time saying! Oh well, you know Xcode can't run on the iPad or insert your pro app here could never run on the iPad, and that in and of itself is not an argument against the fact that this is the direction that apple is moving with the iPad and, of course not.

Every professional workflow is going to be able to run on the iPad m1 as it is now or even after WWDC, but I'll tell you what for professional, videographers and photographers and graphic designers, it's real close now with that being said, this is what I'm seeing in the pro community, but obviously share this video. If you agree, if you want to see this talked about more, I think it would be a great thing to see some bigger tech YouTubers chime in on this conversation and give their input as to exactly why they are not jumping and champing at the bit for something like the iPad Pro. The tablet laptop desktop replacement, all-in-one, even iPhone replacement to be given the m1m2 m1x chips to well. It has the Dr display and it has thunderbolt. I think the iPad Pro should be.

The number one device on everyone's mind when it comes to the future of computing, and with that being said, when it comes to the device that I see everyone using eventually one day, I see exactly that the phone, the tablet, the laptop and the desktop all becoming one device. We see foldable form factors coming into the market. So these are the devices that I see coming down the line and, of course, a chip like the m1 and beyond, is overkill for a phone, but it's maybe not for a tablet, and it certainly isn't for a laptop, and it's probably on the low end for the desktop, and even if that doesn't sound right. If you don't like it, if you don't like the way that future looks just sit with it for a couple of days and think about a world in which your phone could be docked as your desktop could be used as your laptop, obviously with a bigger screen and even a tablet. I really do think that this is going to be the winning form factor, and this is, of course not thinking of what AR could bring to the game with some kind of apple glasses, or something like that, although I really don't see those being used too much for professional work with that being said, guys, don't forget we're doing an air tags giveaway check out the videos here and down in the description below for more details on that and also guys.

The best thing you can do with this. Video in particular is share it um and if you don't have any friends because we're geeks and who are we kidding, we don't have friends uh. The next best thing that you can do is hit the like button and the subscribe button uh to help raise awareness for this discussion. Thank you guys so much for watching. I'm Chris grant jr it's the granite.
