Redmi 10X - UNBOXING & REVIEW

So here we are unboxing knee read me 10x, the very first smartphone in the world with the brand-new media tech process in the 820, which is a mid-range chipset, but pretty good value. So an interesting concept. Let's see what the rebel 10x has in the box typical read me and Xiaomi unboxing read me 10x. The pro version is coming not available yet, though, that just adds some extra camera hardware and a couple of other things, but you get the jelly case in the box 22 and a half watt charging a pretty good spec for this price range, four thousand five hundred and twenty William hour battery as well. So definitely on the larger side. We really don't know much about this MediaTek chipset, the eight twenty.

So we really don't know what battery life is going to be like, but you would expect that Xiaomi have tested this and know what size battery to put in the phone. I have this perfect. Looking blue option, it's got a shiny back, a red power button. The volume buttons are just to the top of the power button as well a shiny back, but actually not too shiny. If that makes sense and the bezels are really nice they're a matte finish, so they have a bit of grip to them, and they remind me definitely of the Redmi k, 30 series with those matte edges so very similar to that you get USB see at the bottom and a headphone jack at the bottom.

On the top. You do get an infrared blaster as well. It's a 6.5 7 inch display, so Xiaomi said that they actually are using the same display on this phone as they're using in the Xiaomi me 10, light zoom, that is another phone, that's been released in China. For now, it may be coming outside China under a different brand name. But anyway it's a good screen.

I have used it before OLED, very good 60, Hertz, refresh rate read me and Xiaomi are wanting to put more and more own LED displays in there cheaper phones, so you're going to be getting OLED over the high refresh rates, but I guess wait, another six months or so and you'll maybe get both. It feels quite light the phone very light and thin. Considering it's got a pretty big battery in here, but overall it does feel like a light and slim and thin phone. The bezels are also pretty good on. Yes, I have seen slimmer and maybe more premium designs in some more premium phones, but this is really a budget phone and concentrating on really the bang for your buck, with that quite powerful chipset for the price.

But overall the design does its job, and you just have that notch in the middle read me put a 16 megapixel image sensor in there as the selfie camera, which we will test out, so that is coming towards the end of the video it does use an in screen. A fingerprint sensor and I noticed that the sensor is really low on the device, like it's really near the bottom of the screen, much lower than a lot of other Xiaomi phones, not really a good or bad thing. It's just something I noticed, and it's not the quickest fingerprint sensor I've ever used. It does take a little, maybe half a second to open. Furthermore, it is a full HD display, OLED display you get good colors good, rich contrast, and that notch is pretty small as well, and when it comes to the cameras, you get three cameras, and you can see the flash that makes up the other part of the camera back there, 48 megapixel main sensor, 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.

So we should expect those portrait shots to be very good yep we're going to test that out right now in the camera app you get the option of the ultra-wide main and then a two time. Zoom option goes to six times, zoom in video and 10 times zoom in photo, but of course that is going to be digital cropping. There are no zoom lenses on this phone, perfect dynamic range in this shot. That background is really, really bright, and the foreground is quite dark, so I think the colors are pretty good MediaTek chipsets, maybe don't have the best reputation for imaging and video compared to snapdragons, but to be honest from what I can see in this camera, it's actually doing a pretty good job. I noticed that the ultra-wide the blacks are crushed a little on the ultra-wide.

So maybe not the best dynamic range from that one, but the main image sensor is perfect and I. Think the selfie camera takes some very natural-looking images with some good dynamic range. Considering the price of this phone, you really have to just make sure that you can parrot to other phones in the price and, to be honest, I think it's done a perfect job. Let me know what you think anyway, how the MediaTek chipset has done, processing these images and when it comes to video I, really can't say too much bad about it, either good decent quality in 1080p. As you can see here, the phone also does go up to 4k resolution, so that is an option at 30 frames a second, but it does lose stabilization at 4k, as you can see here, so I wouldn't be using 4k, because stabilization is just going to take away from the look and feel of the video I would switch to 1080.

As you can see here, I'm running and the stabilization is pretty good, even when I'm running and when I'm walking it looks really stable so for sure just use 1080p. It looks much better. It's good that 4k is an option there for you. If you want to buy a gimbals, or you want to put it on a tripod or something it's definitely there. If you need that resolution, but overall this is a budget phone and a new chipset that we weren't, aware of, so I think it's done a perfect job overall, some good colors, some good dynamic range and some good sharpness overall from the cameras again, let me know what you think of the cameras and how they did so really when it comes to gaming.

This chipset is a big bang for your buck champion. It's a powerful chipset. It actually outperforms the snapdragon 765 G in terms of benchmarks like an tutu, but that is only one aspect of testing a phone. Furthermore, it's a perfect experience. Overall, you've got the OLED display and this powerful chipset here you go here is the pub G setting you can play it on a higher refresh rate than the standard setting, but it doesn't go up to the very, very high refresh rates that you get with more powerful chipsets, but the same can be said for the Snapdragon 765 G, for example as well.

There are no high refresh rates with the screen and there are no really high refresh rate options anyway with this chipset, but the screen doesn't have it so a bit pointless if it would support it again. This is a budget phone and a budget chipset. So you don't really expect it to be going at those very high levels where those more expensive phones, but I decent package. Overall, let me know what you think of the read me: 10x, the cameras, the chipset and the look and feel of the phone. Let me know in the comments.

Is this a find that interest you over? The other phones in the revenue range subscribe for the latest tech news and videos? That's it for now. I'll see you in the next one.
