realme X50 5G VS Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G (COD Mobile Gaming & Geek Benchmark)

What's going on guys today, I've got the Xiaomi mi, 10 lite 5g here and the Realme x, 55g, and it's a video that people were requesting, because these phones are extremely and undeniably similar. So you can see straight away. For example, they are exactly the same size at 6.57, inches, very similar screens to body ratios and basically unnoticeable differences there, so very, very, very similar. Just from the set off just from the go. They look extremely similar, and you can see if I spin them over to the back here. They've both got that quad camera set up.

However, they have a different sort of style there, so you can see that they are both 48 megapixels with an eight megapixel and two megapixels, so you have very, very, very similar camera setups there just in a sort of different style, and obviously this is the main camera and they both have that as described by themselves. Ai camera abilities here on the main camera talking about cameras. The Realme x50 does win this one with a 16 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel camera there. So it's a dual selfie camera compared to the single 16 megapixel camera on the Xiaomi. Moving on to the displays, however, the Xiaomi does take the cake with this incredible AMOLED display compared to the lcd on the x50, so the Xiaomi will have a little crisper colors compared to the lcds on the real me.

However, we have seen in the past. People are actually more preferable of the lcds inside the rookies, even compared to their more recent AMOLED displays. People still prefer that lcd on the real me. So I don't know it's all a personal preference. I believe in this case, and I think that although AMOLED screams are typically thought of as being better, people do generally prefer the lcds in the real news anyway.

Now both these devices we have here are six gigabyte ram with 128 gigabytes in storage, so exactly the same there, and they both are dual sim, also so very similar there as well. If you just look at the externals of the devices you'll see they're very similar you've obviously got volume knockers on different sides. Here, though, as the fingerprint sensor on the x50 is side mounted, whereas on the Xiaomi is an under display fingerprint sensor, so there's a slight difference there and that's all again preference. Obviously the side mounted sensor is always a little faster and a little snappier. However, the display is a nice addition.

I believe- and sometimes I prefer having that under display fingerprint sensor, because I feel it is maybe a little more modern price wise. The Xiaomi is a little cheaper at 279 compared to 299. On the real me, however, there are some other differences which you can account for that 20 pounds difference, and you know the price is only 20 pounds and sometimes when the x50 goes on discounts, you do see it around the same price. That means said there is a reason for this higher price, and some reasons are, for example, that the Realme x50 has a 30 watt charger compared to a 20 watt charger on the Xiaomi. So you will be able to charge this up a little quicker than the Xiaomi.

Also talking about batteries, the Realme has got a slightly bigger battery at 4200 my, compared to 4160 on the Xiaomi, so slightly bigger battery and slightly faster charging. However, there's not a massive difference there, it's all about the wattage charger, basically like that push forward, and you've seen with Xiaomi recently, they have released a snippet with their new phone talking about the 80 watt charger, that's not on this phone, but one of the more modern ones that we hopefully will get a hand on in the future, hopefully see that super superfast charging now another similarity is they both have the exact same chipset and GPU, so you've got a snapdragon 765 g inside both these devices and there. That is an extremely high performing chipset and people are very fond of this snapdragon chipset, also with them both being 5g capable and then both having the gaming focus on them. So you know you're going to get some very good gaming experiences with both these devices. That being said, I do believe in this case that gaming will be better on the Realme now.

That is not down to any specific specs pre-installed on the roomy. You do get this little app called game space and inside the game, space app. You can choose all sorts of different features, so you can do sort of the competition mode, the low power mode or the balanced mode here, and it does show you all this sort of things here. Furthermore, you can also do stuff like adjust the resolution, the brightness, lock and turn off all these notifications. So you are going to have a slightly better gaming experience on the x50 in general.

However, the actual smoothness will probably be about around about the same, but if it's up to personal preference, I would prefer to game on the x 50. As I said, same GPU same CPU same ram, same storage also got same things such as the size and the dual sim cards now. Another difference, which is a little disappointing in my opinion, is the fact that the Xiaomi has a headphone jack placed on the top of the device, whereas the Realme does not seem to come with a headphone jack at all. So that's a little disappointing, but I guess the assumption with Realme is the fact that you already have wireless headphones or USB type-c headphones. So you know, as the majority of people do already have this sort of TWS headphones.

I would say that the headphone jack is becoming more and more obsolete. However, a lot of people do want to still see that headphone jack on the phone. So now it's down to personal opinion. These are the main spec differences they've already done. However, in my personal opinion, I do prefer the look of the realm x50.

I just prefer the fact that the design is a little more abstract and a little more out there, as well as having a little more of a cleaner look. In my opinion, I do also prefer the sort of camera layout on the real me, and that is just personal preference, because I'm not a big fan of that sort of water drop display type. Just because I feel like when I am trying to watch videos or do some sort of games, I do feel like it does sometimes get in the way, whereas, if it's tucked away in the corner, like that, it's always underneath your thumb anyway, if you're trying to game or trying to have a look at stuff, usually it ends up being slightly more out of the way. That being said, I do think Xiaomi have done a very good job at integrating this teardrop design into their design here and sort of featuring the surrounding stuff. Previously, you have seen on certain phones that the teardrop was not properly integrated, and you had sort of overlapping and under lapping display.

However, on this device you will see that it is done very well and very cleanly and it all sort of fits together so props to Xiaomi on that one. I think they have done a very good job with this in terms of the water drop camera feature, I think, as a general statement. On the whole, this is one of the better water drop camera designs that I have seen so another request that people have been giving us is: can we do a benchmark test comparison, so we're going to do a geek bench test on both these devices and give you an overall score, so you can see which device performs better in which areas or maybe, if you know, they're, very similar, so we're going to set this up now, and you can have a quick look so here we are guys, here are the scores. You can see here that the Xiaomi was a couple of points better. That is not a massive difference in score, as you can see, 606 608, 1875 1887 very, very, very similar I'll slowly scroll through some of this stuff here.

So you can see some of this information. You can see that the memory size is 5.3 gigabytes on here and 5.29 on there. You can see some of these scores here, so you can see the single core scores the crypto scores. I know these other points here that I'm not too sure what they all mean, but you can basically see that the Realme wins in some of these scenarios and the Xiaomi wins in others. That is about it really now, as I'm scrolling through this, you can see some of these here.

If you want to pause this at any time, I'll slowly scroll through these, and you can pause and read all of them, but I'm not going to go over every single one just because we wouldn't even have enough time in the video. So there it is there, and you can see some information now. What we're going to do now is move on to a bit of the gaming side of things. One thing I did forget to mention earlier is the fact that one of the key reasons I would opt for the Realme over the Xiaomi is that 120 hertz refresh rate, so you're, seeing an incredible difference, because the refresh rate is double the Xiaomi you've got 60 hertz on the Xiaomi and 120 hertz, refresh rate on the roomy. So when you're scrolling, through articles or reading things, you'll see a lot less lag or hurts lag compared to the Xiaomi, you will be seeing a quicker response time as well and a kind of overall smoother gaming experience.

That being said, we haven't fully touched them side by side. Yet so what we're going to do now is jump into a bit of Call of Duty, mobile side by side, and you can see the differences for yourself come with me: recon ready contact with enemy changing bag, so there you go guys there's a little of the gaming there. As I said, I do feel like the Realme does. Take the cake there a little in terms of gaming, just because it's got that game space feature where you can turn it into competition mode and have that 120 hertz, which does provide a slightly smoother gameplay. That being said in terms of speakers, I would say, the Xiaomi is actually slightly louder, and you will be able to hear that in a little of the video in general, I would say gaming wise.

I would obviously opt for the x50 overall, though guys there isn't much. I can really say in terms of which one's better and which one's worse. All I can really say is there is a 20 pound price difference and obviously there isn't massive indifference. I do prefer the design of the x50 and, in my personal opinion I may have probably opted for the Realme x50 in this scenario, even though it did perform slightly higher in the geek bench score, I would have probably heard that better selfie camera, the better camera placement and the overall slightly better design, in my opinion, with that faster charging also and a better refresh rate. I know the Xiaomi performed a little higher, but in my opinion those features are kind of key to my everyday phone lifestyle.

So, in my opinion I would vote for the x50. However, I cannot advise, probably, which one is better in the scenario you can take, what you will from it and essentially decide there which specs you prefer to prioritize and which ones you would opt for. We will leave a link to the full specs in the description below.
