Razer Phone 2 or iPhone Pro Max?

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video for the channel. So today this video is gonna, be about the razor phone 2 and the iPhone 11 Pro max. So in this video I'm going to compare the two and see which ones are better. Alright, let's cut to the intro alright. So first look at these two phones, I've been using the iPhone for about two weeks now, and I used to raise your phone ? for about six months, so some specs on the two phones, so the razor phone ? is it was announced in 2018 on in October and I got it in January of this year of 2019. It has eight gigs of RAM.

It has a four thousand William hour battery, and it has the lid, the second-latest generation of Snapdragon CPUs. The iPhone, on the other hand, has four gigs of RAM and a 3969 million power battery. So the battery on the razor phone ? is slightly bigger, but it is needed because of the 120 Hertz display on the phone. So the iPhone does not have this display, and you can tell I'm not sure if you can tell in the footage I think it's pretty snow disable, but everything is slightly slower on the iPhone compared to the razor phone -. So, so far the razor phone ? is winning on a display standpoint.

So I did download a couple of benchmarks, so I downloaded the a2 to benchmark on the razor phone. The iPhone is still downloading. So once that's done, I'm going to do a little benchmark on the two phones to see how the real-world performance is so far from daily you still they're pretty similar when it comes to everyday tasks. Tasks like phoning texting taking pictures is where the iPhone really shines over the razor phone ?, the razor phone ? is more of a gaming device, and it's meant to help users who want to play mobile games. The iPhone, on the other hand, is not really a gaming device, and you can tell right away that games aren't as fast as the reason for him -.

Well, it's not that they're not as fast it's not as smooth, because the razor phone ? has at 120 Hertz panel, which just makes everything look really crisp to your eyes. So both phones come with front firing. Speakers. The iPhone has only one front firing speaker and the other speakers at the bottom. Just like a typical iPhone.

The razor phone has speakers on the top and the bottom. So personally, I really like the razor phone ? over the iPhone for just an aesthetic standpoint, but also for a usability standpoint, because when I'm holding the razor phone, it's very boxy in my hand and I have something to grip on to the iPhone feels a little more delicate because it's curved, but it's still very, very heavy, so both phones, I, would say, are pretty close anyway. I would say the iPhone is actually a little heavier than the razor phone. So if I get down close to the table here, you can see that they made the iPhone slightly thicker this year. You can see that it's the same thickness as the razor phone ?, which is actually pretty impressive, because the razor phone ? is a very thick phone, so I'm surprised, Apple did this, and it actually improved their battery life significantly.

So it's about 2 o'clock today and I had my battery charge this morning, and I'm just going to pull up my battery and show you how much screen on time I've had so far today. So today, I've had the screen on for 5 hours and 45 44 minutes. That is really impressive, because the battery is really not that low. You can see over here on the left-hand of the chart right there, I didn't plug in my phone for three days, which is really, really impressive. Now I, don't consider myself a heavy user, but I do watch a lot of content on YouTube and Netflix, so the battery right now is at 78%.

So I can tell you that the battery on the razor phone ? is not as good as the phone. This could be due to the Android software it's running, but also to that 120 Hertz, refresh rate and I. Always used it with the 120 Hertz, refresh rate, because I thought, why not it looks so good with it. So I always tried to use it with that refresh rate. So one more thing that might sell you on the razor phone to over the iPhone is the expandable storage, so the razor phone ? I'll just pull up the storage for you.

Right now comes with an SD card slot, where you can install more storage, so you can see that the internal storage is 64 gigs and the SD card I have in there is 128 gigabytes. So if you don't want to pay a lot for your phone right away, you could always expand the storage later now with the iPhone. That's not possible! So when you first purchase the iPhone, you want to get as much storage as possible. Now I have the 512 gigabyte, I phone storage, and that might seem a little overkill for some people, but, depending on what you do, I will be flying my drone, a lot which will be storing its video on the iPhone. So that's why I bought the iPhone was 512.

Gigs of storage! So if you don't need that much storage, it might not be so much of a concern to you. But if you like, taking pictures or videos of family events or your professional YouTuber, you might like to raise your phone because you can take out the SD card and transfer files really quickly. Now you can always plug in the phone, but I don't like doing that, because it takes quite a long time, and you have to have your phone plugged in while you do that. The iPhone transfers files really fast to the computer, though, through that new USB plug that they have with the fast charger. So both of these phones support fast charging I was really surprised that the iPhone didn't come with a USB plug this year.

You can see that the Razor phone has that. Obviously, both of these phones do not have headphone jacks, which is not too much of a surprise, because every flagship has no headphone jack. So now we're going to get into the benchmarks and once they're ready I'll come back alright, so we're going to get right into this benchmark test. So we're going to be doing the ice storm extreme on both devices all right, so, as you can see, this is the razor phone. It looks really, really clear and this is the iPhone.

So one thing I noticed with the iPhone, so you can see the two sizes of the two displays. The razor phone display is actually slightly bigger because it doesn't have to worry about any noxious now the iPhone. On the other hand, you can see the display could go up to here and down to here, but since it has notched- as it always has these two black lines on it and if you're watching some content, you could always get rid of the lines by expanding the content. But then you lose parts of the screen. So that's another reason why I prefer like a rectangular screen versus the notch on the screen, so the notch is not bad.

You can get used to it, but it's up to you if you want to have that notch. So all this test is running a couple of final thoughts that I have on these two devices. So personally, I really like the razor phone too, and I like the iPhone 11 Pro Max ?, but what which one would I recommend if you're on a budget I would definitely recommend the razor phone -. You can get it for about 500 Canadian and the iPhone, on the other hand, is about $2,100 Canadian for the one that I have with 512 gigs of storage. Even if you get the smaller iPhone, it is still overpriced.

The razor phone is just right for what you're getting so. If you're on a budget, I would get the razor phone -. If you have no budget, and you really like iPhones I- would get the iPhone 11 from Max. So as these two benchmarks are running, we can see that this is the iPhone right here. I'm, just gonna, try and zoom in, so you can see.

I, don't know if you can see that I'm trying to show the frames that it's running at and I, don't think the camera is going to pick it up, but the iPhone is running about 60 frames per second and the razor phone is running at about 120 frames per second. So this could be due to the refresh rate of the razor phone too, but they both look very, very clear, and I would say. The benchmarks are going very well on both devices. So just looking at the two devices, the razor phone did get a little warm. The iPhone is still ice-cold, though, which is really, really impressive.

So, overall, these two devices, I, would say it's up to preference. If you really want the best value for your money, I would say, get the razor phone -. If you do not worry about that, and you really like iPhones I, would say, get the iPhone 11 they're, both excellent devices and especially in 2019. You can't really pick one over the other unless you really prefer one operating system over the other. These are both very powerful devices, and it's really up to what your personal preference is.

Do you like Android? Do you like iOS, and it's not so much the greener blue bubbles anymore? It's more of! Do you like how Android has this system set up, or do you like how iPhone has it because, as I look at these two devices more deeply, the cameras are better on the iPhone 11 and the wide-angle is amazing, and I'm going to have a video coming out about that, but the razor phone ?, if you're, just taking regular pictures, and you're not photographer, or you don't really take pictures that often you won't notice the difference between the two phones all right? So when we look at to test the results, we can see that both phones maxed out the test, and it was too easy for them. So we'd have to pick another test to run, but that's really, really impressive, and you can see that the iPhone was running at about 60 frames per second, and the razor phone too was running at about 120 frames per second. So that's really impressive. With these two devices, especially since the razor phone ?, is a warm all dream up, but it's still in the game, and so is the iPhone. So thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed this video.
