POCO F3 Full Review [The HOT Flagship Killer]

Hey, what's up it's pro charlie here and welcome back to where we take awesome out of the box. Now today we're going to be talking about a phone that I've actually been getting a lot of questions for- and I hope you guys are watching all those who are asking me stuff because we're finally taking a look at the Poco f3 Poco has finally launched the true successor to their flagship, killing homophone f1, released back in 2018. After years of waiting, we finally have the Poco f3, the brand's, true flagship, killing mid-ranger known as the Redmi k40 in China. The Poco f3 sticks to the killer formula of the homophone f1, a flagship processor, the best ram and storage deck, as well as great flagship features all under 20 000 pesos. The Poco f3, has come a long way since the homophone f1. This time around, though the Poco f3 feels more premium thanks to the gorilla glass back panel, as well as its ergonomic curves.

You also get that two-step camera bump at the rear that houses three cameras and a LED flash aside from that. The back panel looks rather clean and sleek compared to the Poco f1, since the fingerprint scanner has been relocated to the side. Yes, it looks perfect, but not with a ton of fingerprints on it. You see that so we have a glass panel. So it's super glossy and super shiny and traps a lot of fingerprints, but nothing.

A silicone case cannot fix the power and volume controls are located on the right side, while the loudspeaker well, one of them is found on top at the bottom. You have the other speaker, completing the stereo setup, USB c port and sim card ray you're, not getting a headphone jack for this one, so you might want to get some PCs earbuds or maybe some USB earphones next up. If that 6.67 inch, 120 hertz AMOLED panel looks familiar, that's because it's practically the same. One used on the Redmi Note, 10 pro, so you're, getting a smooth, 120, hertz refresh rate, a punch, hole for the 20 megapixel selfie snapper, and support for HDR, 10 plus and DCI p3 color gamut. But the Poco f3's panel is arguably better than the one used on the Redmi Note 10 pro as it comes with a 360 hertz touch response rate, and this means that input response, especially for games, is more responsive on the Poco f3 and, of course, like any good AMOLED panel.

The one on the Poco f3 produces excellent color accuracy, deep blacks and gives the phone better battery endurance compared to a similar IPS panel and to complete that entertainment experience. Just like the Redmi Note, 10 pro you get stereo speakers on the Poco f3. As for overall audio fidelity, the Poco f3 has a better sound stage compared to the Redmi Note 10 pro, which is part of the premium you pay for the lows may not be as great and, of course you can get headphones for that, but the mid and highs are produced very well even at the highest volume setting, and so you guys know what I'm talking about. Here's a sample. No, it's not a work of luck or destiny.

I just want to bet myself in your history: the Poco f3 sports, a triple rear camera setup that has a 48 megapixel main camera, 8 megapixels, ultra-wide angle, camera and 5 megapixel telemark that has autofocus, and it's worth noting that we normally criticize brands for putting macro cameras as a feature filler. But the Poco f3 is a different case branded as a telemark camera. The 5 megapixel module is a step above practically any macro camera out there. That's because it has a usable contrast. Autofocus that lets you get sharp and detailed close up shots while for the main and ultra-wide angle, cameras the Poco f3 performed generally.

Well, though, it has a tendency to blow up highlights and bright daylight, like with the mi 11 lite 4g, the processing on the ultra-wide angle. Camera is consistent with the main camera, though you do lose a bit of detail due to the lower resolution sensor. Also low light performance is okay, though you'll get better results when you use night mode. As for videos, the main camera lets you shoot: 4k, 30 or 1080 60, while the ultra-wide angle. Camera is capped at 1080 30.

And, while there's no option for enabling video stabilization, the 4k footage we shot with the Poco f3 appear to be stable, which means there could be some as on board. As for selfies, the Poco f3 produced selfies that are better than the brand's x and m series. Phones and I'd say that the Poco f3 selfie performance is a notch better than the mi 11 lights. When it comes to overall dynamic range sticking to the tried and tested formula of all polo: f phones, the Poco f3 comes with a snapdragon 870 processors paired with eight gigs lpddr5 ram and up to 256 gigs, UFS, 3.1 storage and, as we mentioned before, the snapdragon 870 is essentially a snapdragon 865 plus with the higher clock prime core, compared to the black shark 4. That uses the same processor and internals the Poco f3 trails behind very closely, and that's very impressive, because the black shark 4 is made for gaming.

It has optimizations to max out the snapdragon 870's power and as compared to the snapdragon 8 powered me 11. The Poco f3 beats the Xiaomi flagship and single core CPU tests, while the mi 11 leads with the others. Now when it comes to gaming, there's no question that the Poco f3 can handle graphics intensive games like ken shin impact. In fact, it can run the popular RPG in maximum graphics with 60fps enabled, but we did notice that the Poco f3 did heat up uncomfortably after roughly 10 minutes of gameplay, which shows that the Poco f3 had to cut corners somewhere and that somewhere happens to be the phone's thermal management. Yes, the Poco f3 is great for gaming, but the thermals might lead to throttling which will lead to the game slowing down.

So if you're fixing the settings trying to find that middle ground without heating up the phone too much so that you can play with a stable fps and comparing the gaming performance of the Poco f3 to dedicated gaming phones like the ROG phone 5, the latter definitely performs better than the former intention impact, though the Poco f3 does show its fighting spirit in other games like Call of Duty. Mobile asphalt, 9 and PUBG mobile. However, do note that our game bench runs last around 4 minutes, so the ROG phone 5 will lead over the Poco f3 with long gaming sessions due to better thermals. Nonetheless, the Poco f3 is still very impressive, being under 20 000 pesos. As for battery life, the snapdragon 870 is well optimized to handle the Poco f3's 120 hertz AMOLED display its 4 500 William hour.

Battery lasted us for a little over 13 hours, with our YouTube video loop test, which we can say easily translates to a whole day of use in charging. The phone is a 33 watt charger which takes a little over an hour to get from zero to 100. So there you have it. If you opted to skip out on the mi 10 t, the Poco f3 is better than the former for a lower price, with a more powerful snapdragon, 870 processors and 120 hertz AMOLED display it's a massive step up from the original homophone f1 in every way, and you get the best of both worlds. A very premium looking and feeling smartphone with flagship power.

The Poco f3 is priced at 17, 990 pesos for the 6 gig ram, 128 gig storage model and 20 990 pesos for the 8k gram, 256 gig storage model and will be exclusive to Lazada.
