Google Pixel 4 XL Vs Google Pixel 3 XL! (Comparison) (Review)

Hello everyone welcome back to the channel, guess what another pixel for Excel comparison I'm going to be getting a lot of Uts out of the way so stay tuned to the channel. If you care about the pixel for Excel, but one thing I will say out of the gate: I was given that pixel for Excel from Google, but I promise I'm not going to go switch my opinion or change on you guys because of that I was gonna, buy either way, and I'm like I, might as well get it for free. Now, I have a lot of strong opinions on the pixel for Excel and because of that, I, don't think Google is going to send me out another one of these because I already got it. So it's like, if you don't want to send me out another one: I, don't really care. We already secured the bag on this one, but I'm going to be comparing the pixel for Excel versus the pixel 3, Excel and kind of determining which one is the better value per dollar. Now I will tell you without it that you know, without the doubt, I do think the pixel 3 Excel is still a tremendous phone, even though it kind of looks a little weird I think that phone honestly was and I kind of made an assumption on it before I even got it I think that phone is so a very, very good phone.

Ok, now looking on the outside of these, you can see, there's quite a bit of a difference between them. It's funny because the pixel for Excel a lot of people like the design I, like you too, but I, feel like with what other phone manufacturers are bringing to the table. I felt like it could have been built a little better, in my opinion, with the pixel 3. So that was a total weird I, don't know what they were thinking with that not as well as a bezel on the bottom, but you did have that dual camera set up on the pixel 3 Excel, where you only have a single one on the for Excel, but to each own. Another huge thing that the pixel 3 excel brought was that front-facing speakers, where the pixel for Excel does not have that effect, which is not that big of a deal to a lot of people, but it does add into the overall feeling of a phone.

So, looking at the front, the pixel 3 Excel had a six point. Three inch Leola display that one was also 1440p where the pixel for Excel has a six point. Three inch Leola display that one is also 1440p, but that resolution is a little higher and the biggest advantage that that pixel for Excel has is that 90 here to refresh rate on that display and when I'm using it when it's on and capable like. I see it all the time and I think it's really, really cool. However, one thing that's kind of annoying is that it's not on all the time.

So I guess that you know google kind of mentioned it at their keynote that it's going to be pretty smart about it, and it's not going to keep it on all the time it's going to be optimized. So it's only going to be turned on when you need it or when it thinks that you need it, and so far it's only it's more times off on. In my opinion, which I don't know, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I think it's a cool feature when it's on all the time, but it doesn't seem like I, could keep it on all the time so far, but the overall build quality is kind of the same on the back. That's probably the biggest difference you have this like I, don't know what it is class or like matte, finished, glass or something, but I do like the back design. It feels really nice.

The pixel 3 Excel had some glass on the back and some like plastic thing. I, don't know what it is, but the one thing about the pixel 3 Excel was that it did have a fingerprint sensor on the back, where the pixel for Excel does not have any fingerprint sensor on it, not even an inbuilt one in the screen which, like I, stayed a man in this day and age. The competitors are doing so many cooler things that I don't understand why they did that, but again I guess it's not that big of a deal, but I think the pixel 3 Excel did have a huge advantage. There. Also, you can see.

We have a dual camera setup on the pixel for Excel, we're only a single camera setup on the pixel 3 cells, and I'll talk about that more in depth in a different video, but that pretty much covers up everything on the outside USB type-c on the bottom and that's really pretty much it IP 68 dust and water resistance on both as well and in terms of the outside that pretty much covers it now, in terms of software. Realistically, the pixel 3 Excel should last one version less than the pixel for Excel, so that's kind of a given, but it's not that big of a deal the pixel 3 Excel has a lot of support behind it, a lot of third-party development. So, even when it's done and over with, you can still read it and throw a custom Roman if you choose to so this thing will probably end up lasting forever. It's a stock, Android phone- you know it's going to be you know. Even the Nexus 4 probably still has support.

Even the Galaxy Nexus meant probably solid support, so I would recommend doing it if you're into it custom ROM if you're gonna, be fine. You know, but in terms of stock software support the pixel for Excel would definitely do you better now. Moving on to the speed test between these I'll to go and tell you, the specs of you know within these phones, I'll go ahead and run the speed comparison. The Google Pixel 3 Excel had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and outscore CPU in Arena, 630, GPU and 4 gigabytes ram. The pixel 4 Excel has a Qualcomm Snapdragon, 855 chipset and outscore CPU as well, in Arena, 640, GPU and 6 gigabytes of RAM.

Now, there are two models of both of these phones, both the same amount of variants, both the same amount of RAM on both those variants. So the pixel for Excel 64 or 128, the pixel 3 excel 64 and 128 as well, which is super and the way they should increase the storage on these. But it's whatever, but let's go and do this B comparison see, is the faster device between these two. Alright, everyone, let's get into a little of a quick comparison. As you can see all the apps cleared out on both the pixel three cells and the pixel for Excel.

Let's go and start looking up some of these apps now. For some reason, I couldn't end with all them on the floor, Excel kind of a good problem not to show what's going on, let's go to Snapchat three, two one and I, don't I think the pixel for Excel is faster again. It's kind of me to look over the camera and both alike of you find it same time. Facebook three two one indefinitely for Excel was faster, thereby a little about Netflix, 3, 2, 1 and yeah. There's, definitely a pretty decent comparison.

I'm noticing between you, so I'm glad that were noting a little of a difference, at least as you Sofa 3, 2 1 and again, you can see. I mean pretty decent comparison between those before I was definitely fast. One, in my opinion, do paper. I have two three two one now this game. My opinion really isn't the know the greatest game in the world, but for some reason it does a very good job of showcasing.

This be different because it just does not run that well on any device, because he for three, so it's running pretty well and for excels, rankly, well, ? I'm, not going to lie I, don't know which one is faster. They both seem kind of same, but they're about the same on both versus blocks 31. Definitely before Excel was the faster one. There, let's get into a little of a gameplay comparison and I, don't think we noticed epic mode. If it's to be honest, maybe the four wheels faster a little, but their ROMs assume humble run original in three two ones.

You know why do we start it, because this thing in the middle game topple right again, three two one and the for Excel again is the faster one and the sector perfect news at first I wasn't sure if we would notice that big of a difference but actually thick we are, but you are able to also see that the three so how to cut a wider screen and the fizzle for Excel. So it's nothing a little leaner in the hands. We don't have you. Thank you. Three, two one and again the for Excel LE was a faster to opening, but it's my goes to Twitter I, don't think ? I get into some gameplay gun.

I already died, but no me not that even difference. It's pretty basic game. Now, let's go into Real Racing 3, which I'm probably gonna, get into a problem with 3 2 1, the four cells already into it and if Excel shortly after, but you can kind of see that there is actually some difference. Thank God at first I'm like do I hope there is some difference. I hope there does seem to be some difference.

Let's see the camera app three two one kind of the same unassuming place to be to one definite 3xl force. I'll start with the best one phone call Stacy one, almost the same settings, three two one they were almost the same, and I was expecting a bit of difference, but yeah overall I can tell you is without a doubt the three excel still kind of a fast phone, but the four excel definite was a fast one. In my opinion, I would almost 1 in every single compares, which is perfect in I love, saying that so that's pretty much. It does go back to the regular Texan. Now that that's over with let's go and talk about the cameras.

Okay, now I will tell you I think both camera sensors are perfect, but I felt like Google, could have done way better with the pixel for Excel, and I'll talk about that in a second. So a single 12.2, megapixel camera on the pixel 3 excel 2 cameras on the pixel for Excel 12.2, megapixel wide-angle lens a 16, megapixel telephoto lens, and some people said they should all done. Ultralight some people said they should've kept the telephoto whatever I. Don't really care like I, think it's cool I, think ultralight is definitely cooler than telephoto, but it's not really that big of a deal. It's me eyes don't care.

However, one thing I do care about is the frame rate resolution which we can film it now me personally. I would literally only shoot 1080p videos, the video you're watching is 1080p, but I like the option of going up to 4k at 60 frames per second, whenever I need to with the Google Pixel 3 cells, we were not able to do that. We can only do 4k at 30 frames, but the pixel for Excel. We cannot do 4k at 30 frames either, which is kind of annoying with the iPhone 11 front-facing camera. Furthermore, we can do 4k 60 frames, the Samsung Galaxy S 10.

Furthermore, we can do 4k, so it's like. Why are we not able to do that? On a phone, that's like basically, its main selling point is almost a camera. Besides the software even the front cameras, we had to eight megapixel sensors on the pixel 3 cells, but a single 8 megapixel sensor on the pixel for Excel. So it's like both ways: we're kind of going backwards, in my opinion, so kind of crazy I'm, not really to sure, but it's whatever at that. I guess it's not that big deal, but I will have a full camera comparison coming out very shortly, so keep a log data that channel.

So you don't miss that now talking about the battery life again, not that big of a difference. Kind of so we have a 34 hundred million power battery on the pixel 3 Excel a 3700 mm per hour battery on the pixel for Excel. Now those about 270 million powers is not that big I'm not going to lie. They could have probably made a bigger battery inside this phone, but I guess it's whatever, like I stated I found pretty similar battery life in between both of these phones, so they could have done better. But it's not that big of a deal I think you're going to find somewhat similar battery.

However, pixel 3 Excel, if you're buying it used the battery life, is probably degraded so is whatever at the end of the day, and ultimately, what I can tell you was the differences between these phones? If you have a pixel 3 do keep it. It's really, not that huge of a reason to go for a pixel for Excel in any way. I definitely do think. There are huge advantages for both phones, but with the pixel, 3, Excel I think dude, it's a better value overall. If you can get one for like 300 or even less than that, I think you're, going to be sad, like I, don't see a huge reason to go for a pixel for Excel for any main reason.

The camera is like marginally better. The screen, 90 Hertz I mean that's cool and all but I think the three excel. Definitely is the better overall value per dollar. If you have the money, go for the pixel fork, so obviously that's the better one overall, but I think the three excel is still a huge run for its money and if I had to pick one probably I would end up doing the three excel for the cheaper price. Obviously the four excel, like I said, is a better phone, but the three cell I think is a better value per dollar in my opinion, so that kind of covers that, if you guys have any questions, you have anything else to add.
