Oneplus 9 Pro Honest Review By The Tech Savant

This is probably one of the most controversial devices to date, and it's time I really take a look at it. This is your tech savant, and this is the OnePlus 9 pro review. OnePlus has been in use quite a bit lately, not only about the overhyped camera system in collaboration with Hasselblad, but also concerning allegations of the company throttling a vast amount of apps and being delisted from geek bench, because of it. Throttling in this case means that OnePlus is holding back apps from reaching their full performance potential in favor of better battery life. OnePlus has basically defended the actions and there will be a toggle coming in an update to this let. If you like.

Now, I don't want to go too deep into this, but I'll say this: the average consumer does not care about benchmarks. What we care about is how well can this device handle either light or heavy workloads on a day-to-day basis, while giving us great battery life, and that my friends brings me to the first matter of discussion performance. This is one of the things I absolutely love about this device. The performance on this device is nice, oh my god wow. Oh my god, you get the point.

Oxygen OS continues to deliver the smoothest performance you can get, and I think personally this is stock android on steroids. It can't get any better than this. This is easily my second-best UI experience on any device. I got to also mention that even the half text is so satisfying like moving it slider to adjust volume. You will feel like a tick of vibration.

That really gives you that sense of emotion as you go through the UI once you can get five plus hours of screen on time from a day of medium to heavy use from a device. That's an absolute win in my book and with a variable refresh rate and great software. Optimization battery life is perfect on here. More about the variable refresh rate in a bit. There is an advanced power saving mode for the display, if you choose, but whether you do or not, battery life is just as good.

The OnePlus 9 pro uses two 2 250 William cells. That brings its total capacity to 4 500 Williams, and you can tough it up with a 65 watt charger. That's included in the box. Samsung's apple there's, also 50 watt fast wireless charging only available with the company's wireless charger, that's sold separately and, if needs be, there's also reverse wireless charging at 5 watts. The overall design of the OnePlus is gorgeous.

However, this morning, miss color variant is quite reflective and is a fingerprint magnet. If this is not up your alley, then the pine, green and cellar black with its matte finish will suit you better now, even though the camera modules are huge, OnePlus still found a way to keep the bump at a BM minimum and still maintaining a sleek looking device. Aside from this, the OnePlus 9 employs a well-built premium device that also offers dust and water resistance with an ip68 rating. The OnePlus 9 pro has a 6.7 inch, 1440p 10 bites LPO AMOLED display the display has a variable refresh rate of 128 as well. It's also capable of HDR 10, plus, I must say colors on here- is the most accurate I've seen on a mobile display.

Today. It's ideal for editing, photos or videos on the go. Furthermore, it gets super bright and there's also hyper touch that increases the touch sampling rate to 360 hertz. That comes in really handy, especially while gaming for protection. We have gorilla glass, 5 at the front and back of the device.

Now there were complaints of the curves at the edges of the past, displays being too much so OnePlus listened and decided to not go too drastic this time around. This change definitely helps with accidental touches and overall, the OnePlus 9 pro feels perfect in hand. OnePlus has taken great pride in this display, adding even more enhancements. That really adds up to a really, really great experience. Well done, OnePlus well done, while the under display fingerprint scanner is good and what you'll expect from a flagship device, it has been placed a bit lower down the display.

This may be an issue for some, but it does take some getting used to. I must also point out that the sound family load speakers are loud, clean and crisp. Wander spent a great deal promoting and hyping up the accord, karma system and a collaboration with Hasselblad, which has been met with a lot of criticism from a tech community. Now I am not going to go too much in depth to explore the camera system in this review. However, I do have a separate video on it works solely on the cameras, so stay tuned for that coming soon.
