OnePlus 9 Pro dBrand Grip Case Review! The Case to BEAT! By TechnicallyTee

Yo, what's going on YouTube, it's your boy technically, hitting you with another video today, another case video for the OnePlus 9 pro, and we probably got to talk about a case that just came at least recently to me, and it's just not the other part, probably the perfect case in my opinion, so I had to bring it to you for the OnePlus 9 pro, and we are talking about the d brand grip now before we get started a huge shout out to the cool folks over there brand for dropping me this to review. So let's go ahead and get into it and let me go ahead and tell you basically why I think it is probably one of the best cases out there. So looking at the case, actually, let's go ahead and take it off the phone, because you're not going to be having it on the phone right this second, so let's go ahead and take it off the phone. Look at the case itself. Now this is going to be your d brand grip case and this is going to be a very hard material. So this is nothing flimsy when we're talking about a case.

It's not going to flop, it's not going to warp or do anything crazy like that over time. We're talking about a solid case right here now the good thing about the grip that they basically really kind of stand behind, and that is their grip technology on the side. So this is a bunch of micro dots and when you rub your finger across it and when you rub your hand across, you can really feel the texture that the grip is made of, and I always say the one Achilles heel when it comes to cases that hurts cases is no grip. If a case doesn't have grip, it's hard for me to recommend it, and it's hard for me to use it as my daily case. But when we are talking about the brand grip, this grip texture is absolutely it's just spot on.

I love it. I have the same case for my iPhone 12 Pro max 12 pro, and it's all spot on. Furthermore, I just love it and then actually on the sides here you can actually see down here. They actually have some more grip material now. This also helps when we are talking about gripping it, because it's right in that grip zone, where you normally will grip a phone so combine that with the nice lay on the table protection, you got the tapered edges that allow you to do all your swipes and everything like that.

So you have no case and material interfering with it. It's the little things that the brand really went out their way and thought when they came to this case, you get a very nice felt lining like the microfiber very nice material. With that d brand right there on the buttons you get some nice textured buttons, so you know they're there. You know what time it is when you hit the buttons just as an overall package. Let's go ahead and slap the OnePlus 9 pro here and let's get to talking about a little more now.

One thing that you will also see is: I have the robot skin, so here it is with the camera skin. Now, no, I didn't install this on camera, but you already know when it comes to installing these type of skins and different things like that, just line it up take your time. It's not hard, probably took me a few seconds to slap it on and no that's not because I'm used to cases and everything like that. I already found it very easy to put on and then, if you get it messed up, you can easily take it off and reapply, and you have to worry about damaging the actual camera skin. So let's go ahead and pop the phone in the d brand grip and just check out this entire presentation.

Now, I'm always a person that says a phone case. A good phone case can change your whole experience about a smartphone, and that is the way I feel about this brand grip. Just the look, the feel everything when using it. It doesn't feel in the way, yet you're getting some very, very nice protection. So let's go ahead and go through the main things.

You all know what I'm talking about. So, let's go ahead and pop this unlocks open and let's check those volume up volume down buttons are absolutely perfect. No issues there clicking that power button very nice and tactile. You know it's there. It's not going to be mistaken for anything so a1 job when it comes to the buttons next up, checking out the layout on interior protection.

Let's go ahead and flip it over now. I know I'm not running any type of aftermarket screen protector up here. I am just using the stock OnePlus 9 pro plastic film protectors that is on it, I'm looking for a some, a good screen potato. So if you know one out there, let me know in the comment section down below, but you do have a nice little lip on the top, and you have a nice little lip on the bottom. So if you were to set this on the ground or anything like that, you'll be good to go, you don't have to worry about it, damaging your screen or resting on the actual screen.

So you are good now, just like I stated before. Let me go ahead and pop an unlock, just like I stated before the size allows you to swipe it without being in a way, because if you look up here, it could have a little. It's like it's like tapered, just a little more. I feel like on the edges and that allows you to use any of your swipes or, if anything you do with swiping through the phone it does it without the case getting in the way. So that's a nice little touch there, and also when it comes to that signature, mute toggle switch.

It has a nice little cutout there, which makes it very easy to get to that toggle switch. So that's a nice little point right there. Next up, how does it actually fit on the phone? And this is what makes the brand grip case just spot on in my opinion, so let's go ahead and start with the tug test. You already know what time it is so coming with the top. No budge, no budge at all coming around the sides, even right here, with the volume up and down you get no budge.

It's very stiff right here, as well coming along to down down and even getting to the bottom, which is probably one of the most problematic areas. When we're talking about a case doing the tug right here. Super-duper solid, so all around when it comes to this d-brand grip case, the grip, the snugness and everything about it, it just glues itself to the phone and just makes it a nice overall package to have when we are talking about having a case in your hand, it just feels so good and moving into the next thing is: how does the case feel in your hand? The case feels fantastic, I'm talking about it. Of course, you know it has a case up there, but it's not a bulky case when people think of this level of protection. It is not a bulky case at all.

This does fit feel everything about. It is just very refined. They do an excellent job with this case, some pieces that I almost forgot about when reviewing this was the cutouts. As you can see, they have very nice, precise cutouts up at the bottom flipping over on the top you get to cut out for that little microphone. So just overall super nice package I mean brand just continues to knock it out the park when we are talking about these brand grip cases and throw it on the wireless charger, as you can see, on OnePlus wireless charger, and I'm pretty sure you can use any wireless charger, but it is compatible with wireless charging but yo brand.

I got to give you your props when it comes to this case, and when I say it is basically the perfect case for me is: there are a few things that I require when it comes to a case number one. It's got a big grip. I told you this case has a1 grip going all the surrounding way. It's called a brand grip. So of course it's going to have grip.

Number two is going to be perfect buttons. I have to have great buttons when it comes to a case and when you're clicking these buttons, as you can see, I told you man, the click ability of whatever you want to call. It is just spot on. Buttons are absolutely perfect. Next case can't be too thick, it can't be too thick, but it needs to offer protection.

I told you this case remains thin and gives you that all protection all the way around it and a case also has to have a very nice snug fit. You already know when it comes to this dram grip. Once you pop this bad boy on, it is good to go some cases I like fit very tight, but sometimes it can fit a little too tight, but this one it fits just perfect to where, if you had to get it off, it's not going to be a hassle to get it off, and it snaps on perfectly fine. Last thing they have to look good just be real. We love the look of our phones, and the last thing that we like doing is slapping cases up here.

So if I have a case up there, it has to look good and when it comes to this d, brand grip, that's exactly what it does. You know you can get this case. You can throw tons of different skins on it. It's going to come with the matching camera skin. So this is just a robot skin, but you can go with the swarm.
