OnePlus 8T vs Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro Battery Charging Speed Test - I'm impressed By ViLpi

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video. This is Wiley and in this video I'm going to do a battery charging speed test between the OnePlus 8t and the Xiaomi mi 10 pro the OnePlus has a 4500 milliampere battery. It comes with the new fast charging adapter from OnePlus. It is 65 watts, fast charger. OnePlus claims it fully charged the phone in 39 minutes. So that is quite impressive, and we will put that in test today and the output port on this adapter is the USB type c.

That is also new. On the other side, we have the Xiaomi me 10 t pro. This is the 5g version. It comes with 5 000, milliampere battery, so quite a large battery, and in the box you get 33 watts charging adapter on their website. I couldn't find any info about how long it will take to fully charge the phone with this adapter.

I should mention that the battery on these two devices are fully drained and now, let's start our charging test for the test, one issue that I was facing was with the Xiaomi display, which was very deem and difficult to read. So if you cannot see the percentage, that is the reason I will just read it for you. Our first checkpoint is after 5 minutes.

The 80 is on 20 percent and the 10t pro is also on 20, so very identical, starting point for both devices. Now we are very close to 10 minutes after 10 minutes. The 80 is on 38 percent and the 10t pro is on 30, so 80 has started to get charged faster. Now we are almost at 15 minutes mark. The 8t is on an impressive 53 percent and the 10t pro is on 40 percent.

So OnePlus continues with the lead. Now, let's check the situation in 20 minutes. OnePlus is on 67 percent, so 20 minutes, 67 percent is quite good and impressive and the Xiaomi is on 50, and that is also not bad at all. After half an hour, the 80 is charged for 89 and the 10t pro is on 68. I will now wait for the 39 minutes to see if OnePlus claim for fully charging the phone in 39 minutes will be fulfilled or not so after 39 minutes we are at 97 percent, so not exactly fully charged, but very close.

Of course, they do those tests in lab environment, and it is different compared to how I'm doing this. So, let's wait and see when it will be fully charged after around 40 minutes and something we managed to fully charge the 8t so around 1 to 2 minutes difference between the OnePlus claim and the real world test. Meanwhile, the 10 pro is catching up with 87, so we are done with OnePlus now and I will wait for the Xiaomi 10t pro to see when it will finish- and here we are at around 56 minutes and the Xiaomi 20 pro is also fully charged. I should say I'm quite impressed by the 10t pro performance. It managed to fully charge the phone with 5 000 milliampere battery in less than an hour with 33 watts.

Charging adapter, but of course the 80 is just superfast, especially if you talk about the first 20 minutes and getting 67 battery already from zero. That's very fast anyhow.
