Hey, what's up everybody sick, dark back again with another video, and today we're going to be doing a display comparison between the OnePlus 8t and the Samsung Galaxy s20 fan edition. Both displays are really, really nice on these phones uh. They both have AMOLED displays. Uh OnePlus is what they're calling their fluid AMOLED Samsung is just their AMOLED they're, both 1080p by 2400, and they both have 120 hertz refresh rate. As you can see right here, we do have the same wallpaper on each one. Just to give you guys an idea how each one looks, and the brightness is at about the same: around 85 90 percent brightness right there, we're gonna, be checking taking a look at some video and showing you guys a difference between these two.
Both excellent displays they're, both 6.5 inch size so really, really nice, but for right now we're just going to be taking a look at some colors going into a wallpaper app just to show you guys exactly how everything looks on here. So really, really nice colors on both of these. You will not be disappointed on either one uh really, really nice uh colors on here. Both of these are set on vivid. So it is a default uh setting on here on both of them not doing anything crazy, uh we're not doing any like meter, testing or anything in this video.
It is all just what you see right here right now. What I see we're not doing anything, fancy or technological on here just going on over of how things look when you're looking at these both phones side by side, so they're really, really nice. They both get bright enough outside and they're. Both have really, really nice accent. Colors 120 hertz is really, really nice on here.
They both look really, really great. One thing I did notice on the OnePlus over the Samsung is that the blacks don't get fully black. If that makes any sense the Samsung like when the blacks get black, you can't even see where the display ends and the bezel begins on the OnePlus. You can tell the difference of where the bezel begins. It's a black, but it's almost like a darker black like if you have an LCD screen, how the pixels don't fully turn off almost like that on the OnePlus, it's kind of hard to see- or it's probably going to be hard to see to pick up on camera, but take my word for it.
The blacks on the Samsung definitely look a lot better than they do on the OnePlus. So with that being said, we're going to go ahead and take a look at some video. I'm going to set these up. That way, you guys could check out what I'm going to be playing. I'm going to be playing some uh HDR stuff off YouTube, and that way you guys could see how these handle video and how they look so stick around.
Don't go anywhere all right, so we got everything set up right here, we're going to be taking a look at how each one looks and trying out some HDR vision, Dolby Vision, videos on here now you guys can check out the blacks and how everything looks on here. So let's go ahead and jump down into it. Shall we let's go so there? It was guys display comparison between these OnePlus 8t and the Samsung Galaxy s20 fan edition. What did you guys think? Which one did you think looks better uh. Let me know in the comments below of which one you've liked and which one you think looks better.
As far as being able to determine on camera did the best I could to try to capture every single detail as best I can, but uh really, really nice excellent displays on either one. You will not be disappointed. They both support hdr10 and they are both really. Nice. AMOLED displays uh, deep colors, blacks.
Everything was set normal on here to default settings vivid settings. Nothing fancy going on so really, really nice excellent panels on either one 1080p, like I said before. You will not be disappointed with either one of these panels other than maybe where the whole punches are. Centered like the Samsung has a bunch centered in the middle, while the OnePlus has it on over, to the left hand, side no biggies for me, bezels are about exactly the same on each one, maybe a little smaller chin on the uh. One plus, but uh they're, pretty much exactly the same size display same panels.
Everything uh, both 120 hertz, so comment down below which one, you think looked the best uh, you know Samsung or the OnePlus. That being said, guys hope you enjoyed this video. Give me a thumbs up if you did thumbs down. If you didn't, I really appreciate it.
