OnePlus 8t vs Pixel 4a5g | I See You OnePlus...

What's up everybody. This is Scott. Welcome back to another video! Well, I got another comparison video this time it is the OnePlus 8t versus arguably the best pixel that you can get today, which is the Pixel 4a 5g, pretty interesting to see this video because a lot of time, the pixel 4 a5g as we've all noticed, it's pretty much exactly the same. It's just a bigger version of the pixel 5 and also at a cheaper price point. So you got 500 bucks versus 750 bucks that you get in the OnePlus 8t the OnePlus 8t comes between 8 and 12. Gigs of ram got a beautiful display, 120 hertz! You don't get that in the pixel 5.

Uh. You got quad cameras in the one plus, although I got to be honest with you says: quad cameras that macro is boo, boo and that depth sensor is really mostly for portrait shots. So I really only count that as two just my personal opinion, the wide and the ultra-wide uh, but yeah anyway. Both of these devices, as you can see, have 1080p 30 frames a second on the front-facing camera, which one looks better now leave a comment below to say which one looks better on the front facing camera and yeah. So I'm not going to go over a tremendous amount of specs.

I gave you a little there. Both of these phones are honestly pretty darn good. Both have incredible battery life screens on both. I have to lean to the screen on the OnePlus side, because it just looks, in my opinion, better more vibrant than the one on the pixel side. Battery life is basically the same performance.

Look. The OnePlus can be a gaming device so from a performance perspective, I'm going to shoot that over to the OnePlus side, but in this video I want to talk about the cameras, because arguably it comes down to price. Comes down to battery life comes down to cameras for the most average consumer. So let's talk about that now. This is currently 4k.30 frames. A second that you are seeing out of both of these devices how's the stabilization look in my last video.

I talked about how the OnePlus white balance was all sorts of off so anytime. I would turn yeah there. You go. You see it this one particular area of this park. I don't know why, but man a lot.

It just gets so dark on the OnePlus, whereas the pixel's like nah, no big deal, not a problem at all, but take a look at the stabilization on both of these again keep in mind.4K 30 frames a second out of both of these I'm going to walk towards that green bench way. In the background. Just so, you can kind of see what the stabilization looks like. Let me turn this pixel just a slosh, so it's kind of even there you go again. The pixel 4 a5g crazy black magic when it comes to the stabilization, but the OnePlus 8t is no slouch either both from a stabilization perspective.

Looks really great! Here's what's even better! This is the wide shot. Now here it's going to ultra-wide and take a peek. Let's walk towards this corner right here, take a peek at the stabilization out of both of these honestly perfect. I really like the stabilization out of both of these. Let's swing around go back towards this group of trees right there and now let's do 2x zoom boom 2x zoom out of both of these and let's walk.

How does the stabilization look out of both of these honestly? The OnePlus is less stable, still very, very good, but the Pixel 4a 5g crazy stabilization, which I absolutely love. So now, let's flip this and do 4k 60 frames a second out of both this is 4k 60 frames a second and immediately. I can tell you that the stabilization, let me go back this way. I'm going to go back towards this small green bench. The stabilization on the Pixel 4a 5g.

I can already tell you it's markedly better than what I'm seeing in camera from the OnePlus 8t, definitely walking, which is painfully apparent when I'm using the OnePlus 8t, whereas that stabilization boom on the 4a5g is bananas. Another difference I've noticed in the OnePlus 8t. You cannot do 2x zoom on 4k 60 frames a second, whereas with Google you have the ability to do that in camera. This is 4k 60 frames. A second 2x zoom in with the pixel 4a5g, don't have that when you're working with the one plus, let's swing back towards here- and you can start to see both of the cameras- do not like the sun, where the sun is located.

Okay, so there you have it 4k 60 frames a second, it's 4a 5g all the time, but let's start to go and snap some pictures, so you can see which of these devices win. Now, if it's anything like the pixel 5 video, I fully anticipate the pixel to win, but when OnePlus has the right light, those shots can also be fire crispy. Well, there you have it, that's exactly what you can expect from a photo comparison. Look when OnePlus is in great light in a good situation, and its portrait mode is two to seven feet away from the subject. You can get some perfect shots.

I thought the portrait mode was close on both again when it comes down to personal preference. I, like the pixel, look again. It just came across that way, some shots when it came to the white balance and things of that nature, man, one plus a whiffed on it. In my personal opinion, now one thing I'm going to talk about, I didn't load Guam on this because I'm not loading Guam on it. You can load Guam onto the OnePlus 8t, but I wanted to keep it as fair right out of the box with both.

So this is what you can expect from that perspective, and I'm looking at OnePlus, I'm looking at something. That's got great battery life, crazy, good performance, great screen, uh from a sound perspective out of the speakers, yeah that definitely leans one plus way. However, the Pixel 4a 5g is no slouch either got a headphone jack, crazy batteries perfect speakers as well screen, not as good as the OnePlus battery life as good, if not better than the OnePlus, and that says a lot because look that OnePlus is no slouch when it comes to the battery life. Both of these devices are 5g as well. So really that's not a thing, and it probably really won't start being a thing until the wave 5g being available versus sub 6, and that's a couple of years away at this.

Given point so for me, it comes down to for 500 bucks, 4.99 and probably some holiday deals right now for the 4a 5g at the time of recording 500 bucks is going to get you. This 4a 5g, 750 bucks out of the OnePlus, don't get me wrong. The OnePlus at 750 is a great buy, but when you compare it to something like the 4a5g gets mighty close for me, I'm huge into the videos and photos mode, as everybody knows, is pretty painfully apparent at this given point. If you're a person that takes a lot of photos and videos and things of that nature, I'm going to lean towards the pixel, because I have to be able to trust that camera more often than not to get the shots and pixel for me is just more often going to get the shot that I need to. I don't have the ability to sit there frame up the subject make sure I got all the nice lighting and things of that nature, because I have kids, that's just not going to work.

Pixel gives me the ability to be confident in the shots that I'm going to get. But if you don't care about that, man OnePlus made a great device in this 8t. So that's it. That's all I have thanks for watching and, as always as share subscribe thumbs up, leave a comment below we'll see you next time.
