Watch until the end of this video, if you'd like to see more videos like this feel free to subscribe and hit the notification bell, let's start straight away with our review. Let the facts speak display the mate 40 pro has a 6.76 inch display with a 1 344 p resolution. It also uses an olive screen which creates very accurate colors. The 6.76 inch display, therefore, measures 17.17 centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 456 PPI. The Huawei has a 90 hertz refresh rate in general, a solid screen, but no 120 hertz.

Let's see what the upper looks like. The fine x2 pro has a 6.7 inch display with a 1440p resolution. It is fitted with an audit screen which does a fantastic job. The 6.7 inch display, therefore, measures 17, centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 513 PPI. The fine x2 pro has the 2020 massive feature of an impressive 120hz refresh rate, even with the highest resolution in terms of size.

The phones are similar to each other and every other aspect, though the apple beats. The mate 40 pro it supports. Higher resolution has higher pixel density and most costly. It comes with 120 hertz, refresh rate point for the find x2 performance, the Oppo fine x2 pro at the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 ships, with 12 gigabyte ram with 512 gigabyte internal storage capacity. The storage capacity, unfortunately cannot be expanded.12 gigabyte ram is pretty good. The old snapdragon.

On the other hand, let's see what the mate 40 pro has to offer the Huawei Mate 40 pro has 256 gigabyte internal storage capacity. It is equipped with its in-house produced high silicon, pure 9000 chips and has 8 gigabyte ram. The storage capacity can be expanded with another 256 gigabyte, there's also a 128 gigabyte and a 512 gigabyte version available, but that depends on the country. You are in Huawei's newest processor, the high silicon Karin 9000 versus the old snapdragon model. Let's take them into the an tutu benchmark test and the geek bench 5 test to find out who wins this race.

The tests are divided into three phrases: a performance test of the ram, a test of how the device is handling two-dimensional, graphics and an endurance test of how the device is handling 3d, graphics. The second test is from geek bench. This app will measure the performance of our smartphones in terms of CPU and GPU. Okay, so in short, the Huawei wins all three benchmark test categories, but the result of the upper are surprisingly good, even though it's only equipped with the old snapdragon 800 65. This might, of course, be due to the bigger ram anyways, the mate 40 pro and its new high silicon 9000 ships are the winner of this category.

Camera. The mate 40 pro uses a three rear camera system, an ultra-right with 20 megapixels, a wide with 50 megapixels and a telephoto camera with 12 megapixels. You can find the ultra-right, 30, megapixel front camera in the upper left corner of the screen and a pillbox cutout right next to the 3d depth version camera. It records 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames. It also has image stabilization for video, a camera system designed with the help of photography specialists.

Let's have a look if the upper was able to beat that the fine x2 pro has three main cameras: a 48, megapixel, wide angle, a 48, megapixel, ultra-right angle and a 13 megapixel telephoto camera. The front camera's resolution is 32 megapixels, and it is built into the hole punch notch in the upper left corner of the screen. The Oppo f5x 2 pro records, 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames and, of course it has image stabilization for video. Both phones have good camera systems but which one is actually the better system. Let's take it to our camera test and, let's find out which one does a better job, comparing the daylight pictures.

You see that the upper has more contrast than the mate and therefore seems a little darker both handle the white balance, pretty good. The Huawei tend to be a bit more saturated and has a reddish tone to it. Cropped in you notice that the opposite image has more grain, but has much more details, especially the plant looks very pixelated on the mate. The pictures taken in nighttime conditions are equally lit up. In this case.

The Oppo has a little reddish touch to it, but much more details, especially in darker parts of the image cropped in you'll notice, that the Huawei Mate 40 pro becomes quite soft and mushy. In the case of the front camera we haven't noticed a significant difference. The fine x2 pro has a 5 volt optical and a 64 digital zoom. The mate 40 pro has also a 5-volt optical, but only a 50-fold digital zoom feature, but we are still no fan of zooming in all the way. Since that destroys the quality of the image on both phones, okay, so thoughts are good.

Now, let's switch from photo feature to the video feature to find out which of these two phones takes better videos. What you see and hear the quality of apple's fine x2 pro video recording. We set it to the highest possible quality. Let's see what the competitor sounds and looks like what you can see, and here are the quality of the Huawei Mate 40 pro video recording. We set it to the highest possible quality.

Let's see what the competitor sounds and looks like the sound quality of the mate 40 pro is better than that of the find x2 pro, let's crop in a bit in post to see what that looks like, as you can see, both look pixelated when cropped in, but the upper once again does a better job in terms of sharpness. The fine 2 is able to produce slow motion meters with up to 480 frames per second in 720p mode and 240 frames per second in full HD mode, but the mate 40 pro comes in way stronger on this part by producing slow motion rears with 480 frames per second in 1080p mode and up to an incredible 3840 frames per second in 720p mode. We have to say we were impressed with apple's camera system and, in this case, disappointed with the one from Huawei. The fact that it is a Lacey co-engineered system lets you expect more from it. It is a good system, though, but the much cheaper one from Amos 5x2 pro wins a point in this comparison, design the apple 5x2 pro that we tested in this comparison uses a very elegant, vegan leather finish.

The treble camera system is well positioned in the upper left corner on the back of the phone. Unfortunately, the bump sticks out a lot, so it won't lie flat on a table. It will definitely wobble a bit. The smartphone weighs 200 gram. It is roughly 16.5 centimeter long 7.44 centimeter wide and 0.95 centimeter deep. It has an USB connector.

The ip68 rating makes it also water and dust resistant. The fine x2 pro uses face recognition, technology and a fingerprint scanner which is built into the screen to unlock the phone. Both technologies work great, there's also a ceramic version available, which is slightly heavier and a tiny bit thinner. Our concern is that the vegan leather might change color over time. The vegan leather is a very interesting new approach.

Let's move on to the mate 40 pro the Huawei Mate 40 pro has a clean design with a matte finish. The three camera system is well positioned in a ring on the upper center on the back of the phone like most phones, the camera bump is pretty big, but since it is more centered, it tends to wobble less when it lies on a flat surface, the smartphone weighs 212 gram. It is roughly 16.29 centimeter long 7.55, centimeter wide and 0.91 centimeter deep. It has an USB connector and thanks to an ip68 rating, it is water and dust resistant. The mate 40 pro uses a fingerprint scanner which is built into the screen and face recognition technology to unlock the phone.

Both technologies were great. The Oppo has that special design feature with its vegan leather, in our opinion, a solid idea, but does this feature help it to win this category? We don't think so. We think that it feels great, but the texture and color definitely makes it look less high quality and direct comparison to the Huawei. It therefore falls behind. The Huawei also has a special design feature the camera ring, which is in this case definitely the better design approach.

The overall look and feel of the mate comes in more sophisticated and high end, but it also has a flaw. We think that the pillbox cutout of the front camera isn't the best option. Nevertheless, the mate takes home. The point the question is, if you think the same way, let us know in the comments below if you like, apple's design, and we would love to hear your take on the vegan leather battery. The Oppo f5 x2 pro went fully charged with 4 260 William hours.

On the other hand, the mate 40 pro when fully charged at 4400 William hours in terms of battery size. This is very close, so let's take them into our day-to-day usage test to see which one lasts longer, even though the differences in battery size are very slim, the differences in technology are decisive. The mate 40 pro with this zero hardware was able to last longer than the upper and takes home the point of course, as always, it just comes down to the way you use your phone on a day-to-day basis. It also had a higher resolution and pixel density in terms of performance. The Huawei was the obvious winner.

Since the new 5 nanometer technology came in strong against the higher amount of gigabyte ram, the camera system was a win for the upper. As mentioned, we expected more from the Huawei. The better looking phone was, in our opinion, the mate 40 pro, which had the more high-end look and feel to it, which therefore took home the design category Huawei's slightly bigger battery, combined with the new process technology of the Karin 9000. Let it win the battery life comparison. In the end, it was a head-to-head run, but the aurora mate 40 pro took the lead and won three to five points against the Oppo f5x2 pro.

Naturally, we review more than these five categories covered here.
