OnePlus 5T vs Pixel 2: Speed Test

Hey, what is going on guys text to zest here- and this is a speed test- comparison between the new 1 + 5 t against the Google Pixel -. So let's get started off with the fingerprint reader. They both look the same speed here is a second time round and again in slow motion the second time round, and you can see the 1 + 5 t was slightly faster, so the first test will be the camera apps fractionally faster on the 1 + 5 t, however, that is negligible. Next up is the browsers test. Both of them are using the Chrome browser, and I'll speed up the video here. Okay and we have the verge website, and you can see the thumbnails have loaded on the 1 + 5 t and the advert has loaded on the pixel -.

Now, if I scroll down, you can see the thumbnails haven't fully loaded on the pixel ?, so I'm just going to visit Amazon UK now and they both loaded at the same time, so I'll. Let this run in the background. Next up is the hot UK deals up, and he loaded up at the same time, on both of these phones, then we have Adobe Photoshop bloated up pretty much the same time yep and moving on to Microsoft Word fractionally faster on the 1 + 5 t. Ok, we have YouTube slightly faster on the pixel to start up this first video pretty much playing at the same time here. Okay, so we have the first game: I felt extreme.

Both of them are loading and the 1 plus 5t seems to have taken the lead yep, and it's gone in-game and the pixel 2 is getting there, and it has okay, it's in-game and running and I. Let them run in the background. Next up is Super. Mario run okay, ready to play pretty much the same time, okay, and that loaded first on the pixel to, and then we have Sky force I did notice a bit of lag for the pixel to star in up, and it does appear that the pixel too has pretty much go up with the 1 + 5 t, and that is ready to be played, and I'll. Let that run in the background, and we have Sonic forces okay, and it's running on the pixel ? slightly faster next up is spider-man unlimited and the 1 + 5 t is ready to be played and the last game- Temple Run, 2, ok, the 1 plus 5t, has already started loading.

It pixel 2 is coming in fast. Ok, they both seem to be running at the same speed. Let's get to the title screen. Ok, pretty much the same, so pixel 2 did pull in at the end and once again, I'll let this run in the background time to run all the apps again. So the camera apps opened up at the same speed on both of these phones.

Chrome had to reload on the pixel ? ha ? UK deals slower on the pixel 2 Photoshop, okay. So it's loading on the pixel to Microsoft Word slower on the pixel to YouTube loading on the pixel to, however, it did play the video, whereas the 1 plus 5t had it paused, as for the extreme reloading completely on the pixel 2 1, plus 5t playing it find Super Mario run okay. This is surprising. So the pixel to had to restart the game again Sky force seems to be the same situation again with the pixel to sonic forces. Restarting the game again: spider-man, unlimited, ok, so we're starting again on the pixel to running fine on d1 plus 5t, finally, Temple Run 2 and then gain Stein completely from the beginning on the pixel to moving on to Geek bench, for both of these devices on the latest update at the time of the recording.

Now starting off with the CPU benchmark, test and I will cut this video short. So we can get straight to the results, so the 1 plus 5t finishes there 4 minutes and 1 second and the pixel 2 is carrying on for a bit and that finishes in about 4 minutes and 10 seconds, and the score is slightly higher on d1 plus 5t in the single core and the multi-core. And finally, to compute test, 1 plus 5t finishing at 47 seconds and again the pixel 2 is slightly behind and that finishes in 56 seconds and the score being higher again on the 1 plus 5t. And there you have it. The 1 plus 5t gave the pixel to a thrashing, and that is hugely thanks to the extra RAM on the 1 plus 5t.

Personally, I am kind of disappointed that the pixel to phones this year came with 4 gigs of RAM. What do you guys think? Do you also check out my camera comparison between these two devices?
