Note 10 Plus vs Note 10 vs Note 9 vs OnePlus 7 Pro Battery Life DRAIN Test!

Hey guys how's it going in this highly requested video. We are going to be doing a battery drain test between the note, 10 plus note, 10 note, 9 +, 1, +, 7 Pro. In this test we are simply going to see which one the devices outlasts all the others. More importantly, does the note 10 + last longer than the note 10 or vice-versa, with the note 10 +, having a significantly larger battery than the note 10, but the note 10 having a significantly smaller screen in the note n plus, so it would be interesting to see which one of these last longer, and it'll also be interesting to see how some other devices stack up against the new note ends. Alright, so a few ground rules and things I just want to mention for this battery drain test, all the devices will be watching YouTube. This is not going to be an actual representation of what kind of battery life you can expect unless you're addicted YouTube, like I, am and watch it all the time 24/7.

This is a very much controlled test. It's not real life usage, but if all the devices are doing the same exact thing under the same exact scenario, then that will give us an idea of which one of these lasts longer than the others. Also, none of these devices have SIM cards in them. They will all be running. Wi-Fi there'll, be no background processes running on any of the phones either just strictly YouTube videos, alright, so we're finally set up: let's go ahead and get started.

One thing you can notice here is that the no 10 plus no 10 + 1 + 7 Pro, definitely have more of a truly bezel-less display than does the note 9 alright one hour into the test here, let's check our battery life. So in the note 10 + we're at 91% on the note 10 we're at 90% on the note 9 we're at 88% and on the 1 + 7 pro or at 88%, okay 3 hours, we've got 73% on the note, 10 + 70% on the note 10 66% on the 9 and 68% on the 1 + 7 Pro. So again, all these batteries are holding up pretty well for hours. Now, let's take another look: 64% 60% on the note, 10 56% on the note, 9 and 57% on the 1 + 7, all right, 6 hours, 45, 40, 33 and 36 no 10 + now has almost a 5% advantage over the note 10 and has over an 11 percent advantage over the note, 9, okay, almost nine hours in I, don't what happened, but the note 9 shut off for whatever reason, but it shut off at around 7 hours. So I'll finish that one up after these other three are dead, we'll finish that one up on its own and get the time for that.

One plus seven Perot is almost dead here at four percent left the no 10 we're down to ten percent and the no 10 plus still going strong 17 percent battery left. The no 10 plus is doing much better than any of these other devices. It does have the larger battery, but it also has a significantly larger screen, which will also eat up a lot more battery all right. So the note 9 is now out of battery after 8 hours and 32 minutes. I know this says 1 hour and 32 minutes, but earlier in the video I had mentioned that after 7 hours, something happened in the note 9 just turned off, while the other devices were still going, so I finished up this one.

After all, the other devices were done and drained. So something just keep in mind with this device. Is that I've been using it daily for over a year, so the battery performance has definitely degraded over time, and we'll see here with the 1 + 7 Pro. The results might look a lot different compared to the note, not even though they had the same exact battery performance definitely degrades with that daily usage and just using it for an extended period of time. So definitely just keep that in mind when comparing this time to the rest of the times on much newer devices with the batteries used much less alright.

So at 9 hours and 13 minutes, our 1 plus 7 Pro just ran out of battery alright 9 hours and 38 minutes. The note 10 is completely out of battery no 10 plus, where you down to 8%. Let's see how long it lasts alright, and with that our note 10 plus, has died at 10 hours and 22 minutes. So that concludes our battery drain test. So the note 9 finished up at 8 hours and 32 minutes, 1, plus 7 Pro, around 9 hours and 15 minutes note, 10, 9 hours and 38 minutes and the note 10, plus 10 hours and 22 minutes absolutely crazy battery life.

So takeaways from this video. Obviously the note 10 plus incredible battery life lasting much longer than any of the other devices and once again the note 10 is disappointing us. We thought it would be at least on par with the note 10 plus with that smaller screen size, even though it has a smaller battery, but almost an hour less of battery life. In this tester than the note 10 plus and like I said before, with the note 9, there is definitely daily usage of over a year with this device of the battery has definitely degraded over time. So it might not be the perfect comparison right now with the note, 10 and note 10 + + 1 + 7 Pro.

But if anyone who has a note 9 right now, it might be considering any of these other devices. That might give you a good idea of what you're upgrading to. But if you guys enjoyed this video, then be sure to give it a thumbs up, leave a comment down below and what you thought of these charge times, and please consider subscribing to the Shane Simon's YouTube channel today.
