NEW 2021 M1 iPad Pro 11" Silver UNBOXING + First Impressions!

So guys today we have the unboxing of the m1 iPad Pro now. This is gonna, be a pretty massive upgrade for me. I'm coming from the 10.5-inch iPad Pro right here and this guy has served me well, but it's time to move on, I need a new iPad, and so this m1 iPad Pro should work just fine for me now I do have my brother's 2020 iPad Pro just here, and I will be comparing it with this new version. It has the magic keyboard and the Apple Pencil. So obviously we can try on the accessories but yeah, let's just tuck in I'm pretty excited. I did take off the wrapper, but I haven't unboxed it yet so, let's just unbox this bad boy.

So let's open the box. Now, okay, I'm already flopping. What is this? Okay boom boom people there we go. The new iPad Pro looks identical to the old one, but it's got the m1 chip. That's what counts.

Now that looks absolutely beautiful. I love the silver looks absolutely spectacular, but we'll put that to the side and delve into the contents of the package, and it's pretty simple. We have the documentation from apple, we have the apple stickers. I believe those are the most important thing. Yes, they are beautiful.

Oh they're, like ginormous wow, I like those anyways. We also have the 20 watt charger. I believe we have that, and we have the USB type-c to USB type-c charging cable. So yeah, that's pretty cool, pretty basic stuff. Let's put that to the side and delve into the iPad right.

So here we are, with the new iPad Pro very thin, incredibly thin, but anyways. Let's take this wrapper off. Oh yeah, oh, that is very nice. Oh, and I hit my tripod there we go anyways uh, and I've got my fingerprints all over the screen. That's fine boom! Here we are.

That is a very, very nice looking design now. Obviously, if we do compare it to the 2020 model, so here's the 2020 and the 2021 iPad Pro and well they look identical. They look exactly the same. I can't tell the difference like generally, they look, they look the same. They look identical um.

Is there really any difference? I don't think so. Um, I think the same uh thickness too. Possibly don't want to put them together, but there you go yeah, they look. They look about the same, so yeah visually they're identical now. Obviously we have the m1 in here, and we have the center stage camera that I want to check out, but yeah visually, it's pretty boring anyways, let's just boot this up.

So here we are okay boom there we go. Also, this screen very fingerprints, or just it's just me- I don't know, but very, very just yeah. I can't speak today: anyways, hello, hello, wow, okay, so swipe up to open English. United Kingdom set up manually um a bunch of stuff that you guys can't see and with that let's end the unboxing, because it's pretty simple after that, let's now delve into my very brief first impressions right guys, it's been a hectic day so bear with the new temporary location for a while, but I want to delve into my first impressions with this m1 iPad Pro, so I've been using the m1 iPad Pro for a few hours, and one thing is pretty clear: this has powerful hardware, but it's being crippled by the software and well the basic nature of iPadOS, because I've been comparing the 11-inch iPad Pro against the 10.5-inch iPad Pro and in day-to-day use. These iPads are very, very similar and that's really because of an apple optimizes.

Their software for older hardware. Incredibly well, but b. IPadOS does not take advantage of the m1's performance, and it's a real shame. I also have some other issues, so I like the design, the design, looks absolutely amazing. I love the flat edges, they are gorgeous, but I hate the fact this only has face ID because I actually do miss touch ID from my older iPad Pro and I do find it way more useful on an iPad in my opinion, and so not going to lie.

If we don't see, perhaps for the iPad Pro at WWDC, I might just get the iPad Air because I do want touch ID. I want the nicer design. I want performance that is pretty good and the iPad Air offers that. But there is one feature that is the start of the show. With this iPad Pro and its center stage is absolutely incredible: I've had a lot of fun playing around with it.

It works amazingly. Well it tracks me perfectly. I am surprised at how good the technology is, though, do note it's more of a gimmick for me, because I rarely video call people in the first place and so yeah, I'm pretty sure I won't be using this technology anytime soon, but one feature I will definitely be using is the wide-angle selfie, because I look pretty epic with it and well that's pretty much it for my first impressions now. Obviously I will keep using this iPad as my daily driver for the next few days, and maybe I change my mind but right now as it stands, I feel like the four-year gap between the 10.5 inch and 11 inches. iPad pro isn't really apparent, because this iPad does pretty much everything.

This iPad does as well, which is kind of insane, but that is the state of iPadOS. So, yes, apple again, please bring us pro apps on this iPad. It would be very much appreciated, but yeah that's pretty much it for this video. Let me know your thoughts on this iPad Pro in the comments below anyways. Thank you for watching make sure to like and subscribe for the latest Apple news and rumors and with that being said, see you peeps.
