MATE 40 PRO: MELHOR CAMERA de CELULAR do MUNDO é Huawei? | Hands-on

Subtitles by Paulo Montenegro - paulomontenegro@hotmail. com. br Huawei does not give up competing in the flagship segment of phones with Android system, and recently announced not only one but four new devices. Here we are not going to detail the differences between them, but rather check out the Mate 40 Pro, which seems to be the most balanced of the four in terms of hardware and price. TudoCelular in partnership with HDBlog brings you the first impressions of the flagship elected the best in camera nowadays. What can we say about the Mate 40 Pro Design? Well, it's weird.

The Chinese giant decided to continue with a circular layout for the set of cameras, which are now arranged in a ring, with the Leica name highlighted in the center. It is quite different and many may end up twisting their noses. It is also bigger and heavier than before - at the front there is a waterfall screen, which takes care of the sides with the right to a double hole in the screen that devours a lot of space. The Mate 30 Pro had a bigger notch, in the iPhone style, what do you prefer? The manufacturer's excuse for having this stolen space on the screen is in the 3D facial recognition sensor. Huawei made some setbacks, depending on the point of view that you analyze, of course.

The Mate 30 Pro has virtual buttons on the sides that serve to control the volume and can be used as triggers in games, but were not well accepted for generating accidental touches. It also did not come with a speakerphone and uses vibration to emit sound. Well, forget it! Mate 40 Pro is more traditional and we have a speaker at the top and the appropriate physical buttons on the side. This Mistyc Silver color has a matte finish and an iridescent effect. There are four more core options, including green and yellow.

The company continues to use NanoSD cards instead of MicroSD. The IP68 certification, as well as the infrared emitter, were maintained. It is undeniable that the Mate 40 Pro is a very complete phone and could not miss 5G connectivity. The screen grew, gained more pixels and brings a brighter glow - the best part is that it now delivers 90z for greater fluidity; the OLED panel displays beautiful colors by default, without abusing saturation, in addition to being able to choose between three resolutions there is also the option to lock the screen at 60 or 90 Hz, in addition to leaving it in automatic mode that balances fluidity and consumption. While most cell phones with stereo sound use the call speaker as the second sound output, The Mate 40 Pro has a dedicated speaker on top of the device, which is next to the infrared emitter.

The sound power is great and the audio is well balanced, really Huawei did well in the multimedia part. The Mate 40 Pro was the first Android phone to hit the market with a 5-nanometer chip, the Kirin 9000 promises to be more powerful than the Snapdragon 865 Plus, while consuming less energy. The new Chinese flagship comes with 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The 4,400 mAh battery has support for 66W accelerated charging via cable and 50 watts wireless, which means that you spend little time in the outlet. In a quick test in AnTuTu we saw the Mate 40 Pro spike 550,000 points, which is great but nothing impressive compared to what models with Qualcomm hardware can offer.

The Mali-G78 GPU makes the difference here and Huawei claims that it is 50% more powerful than the Adreno 650 from the Snapdragon 865 Plus - is it true? Well, the Mate 40 Pro ran some tested games well, but we already had a problem with incompatibility with some titles on Huawei phones before, and it’s good to always remember that Huawei is still banned in the United States, and with that, we have no Google services on the EMUI 11. To install the Android games and applications on the Mate 40 Pro, you need to use the App Gallery, Huawei's own store with a more limited collection - You can use the ToF 3D sensor to control the phone with aerial gestures; you can take screenshots with your hands, swipe up and down to scroll the page or right and left to browse the gallery as well as pause and play music by playing the air in front of the phone. The Mate 40 Pro inherits the P40's 50 MP and 12 MP telephoto lenses, while the ultra-wide has lost half the resolution. And of course it didn't take long for the Mate 40 Pro to reach the top of the DxOMark ranking, being elected the best phone for photos. He also came out on top as the best in selfies - is it really all of that? Well the initial photos captured showed great quality with a high level of details, balanced colors and efficient HDR.

The telephoto camera is capable of zooming up to five times using optical zoom or 50 times with digital zoom. The front records selfies with a warmer tone than we are used to seeing but the quality, in general, is also great. Huawei has not yet entered the hype of the 8K shoot and the Mate 40 Pro records only in 4K at 60 fps with all cameras with very efficient stabilization. It really becomes clear that the new top of the line Huawei has a photographic set of respect. In addition to the Mate 40 family, Huawei also announced new accessories such as FreeBuds Studio.

A headset with eight microphones - there are 4 on each side and serve to help in noise cancellation. Huawei claims that it can cancel up to 40 dB, and not only that, even the phone's structure was also built to reduce external noise. There are three operating modes that are automatically adjusted via software by the noise level around them - the user can also switch between three pre-existing modes. The former is suitable for very noisy places, such as traffic, for example, while the latter is for when you are in a closed environment with little noise, such as an office. The L2HC codec is supported for low compression audio and even a mode for gamers with low latency in games.

Huawei's new wireless headset comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and can be connected to two different devices at the same time - its battery promises autonomy 20 hours. Huawei continues with its partnership with Gentle Monster and launches the second generation of its smart glasses. The speakers on the stems have been reduced compared to the first generation, but are able to deliver greater sound power. Virtual assistants and noise cancellation are now supported for clarity of what you hear. Huawei promises autonomy of up to 5 hours to listen to music and the novelty supports fast wireless charging.

You can use gestures to make it easier to control the music and whoever wants to buy the accessory at launch receives six months free of charge from the Huawei Music streaming service. What can we say about Mate 40 Pro? Well, despite having a great set, it will be difficult to recommend it especially to anyone who depends on Google services. Its great appeal is in the cameras and basically that is what will make someone opt for the new top of the line from Huawei. Overall, it is an interesting phone with a questionable taste design, but still, Mate 40 Pro offers a great experience. There are points that could be better, especially for the hefty price of € 1,200, which is equivalent to R $ 8,000 in direct conversion and without taxes.

For that amount we expected a 120 Hz screen, and a more advanced design with smaller holes in the screen. Although the Kirin 9000 is powerful, it could end up eating dust for launches in early 2021. Do you think it's worth paying for all this for the best cameraphone today, according to DxOMark? Answer below in the space for comments! Take the opportunity to check out more details about these products by accessing the text agenda through the link below. I will wrap up here, a big hug and until next time.
