Redmi Note 9 vs Redmi Note 9 Pro: Review

Xiaomi is famous for offering high quality smartphones for lower prices and with these low prices, it has managed to elbow its way into the world's top five smartphone makers. In May of this year, the company released two budget phones, the Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi Note 9 pro. Both homes come with quad camera systems, almost bezel as displays and, in contrast to Wow way, another Chinese company. That also offers great budget phones. They have access to Google Apps and the Google Play Store, hello, everyone and welcome to the phone. During a review of the Redmi Note, 9 series, Charlie's Redmi, note, 9 and note 9 pro both look beautiful and modern.

The Redmi Note 9 sports, a 6.5 inch LCD with a small punch hole for the selfie camera, the displays top left hand, side and the bezels are relatively thin. The chin is also quite unnoticeable. Despite being LCD and not AMOLED, the display offers bright colors and a good viewing experience. The back of the Redmi Note 9 is made of plastic. Now the Redmi Note 9 pro, on the other hand, feels and looks premium from all sides.

It's glossy glass back does attract fingerprints, but it looks gorgeous and feels like you're holding a flagship. The selfie camera is situated in a tiny centered punch hole. The Redmi Note, 9 pros LCD is six point, seven inches, but the phone itself is just as wide as the knot 9 making it about as comfortable for one hand, use and also weight. Distribution is great on the note 9 Pro, which makes it feel solid in the hand. Now, let's talk about those quad camera systems and by the way, if you enjoy watching this, consider subscribing to our channel to get the newest videos first.

So these cameras here are just physically huge, and they bowed out noticeably from the back. As for quality, the Redmi Note 9 has a 48, megapixel main camera and captures photos that have a bit too much added saturation and that's an effect that some people may like, but that doesn't look quite realistic, while, on the other hand, the not 9 Pro comes with a 64 megapixel main camera, which captures more realistic through to life images. Both phones have good ultra-wide shots and the macro images turn out. Ok as well. The digital zoom on both phones is also quite similar.

However, the note 9 pro manages to deliver more details in the sharper image overall portrait mode on both phones works. Well, the background is nicely blurred. While the subject is focused, the Redmi Note, 9 pro also did a better job with night mode, although the note 9 did not disappoint too much either. Now there is a bit of noise in the note nines night shots, while the load 9 Pro managed to keep the follows cleaner and smoother. Looking, let's also talk a bit about the audio quality.

Now the Redmi Note 9 delivers good sound from its bottom speaker, and it's loud enough to comfortably watch YouTube videos or listen to podcasts. However, it's not as loud as we would have preferred, and unfortunately the smartphone does not use the earpiece for a stereo sound like many other phones, so the audio comes from just one side of the screen. The same applies to the Redmi Note 9 pro. Both phone speakers are good enough for listening to music. At home, but not loud enough, if it's noisy around you additional eco quality is good enough for both phones.

No complaints here on the software side of things, both the Redmi Note, 9 and the note 9 proles come with android 10 and shimmies custom Android skin me UI 11, out of the box. The software runs smoothly on both phones, and we enjoyed the little touches Xiaomi added to the Android experience, for example the convenient grouping of settings which makes finding a setting easy and intuitive or the way the recent apps are organized into columns which makes more information fit in one stream. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 9 features a MediaTek hello g85 processor. Now this is not the fastest processor around by any means, but it is quite capable of running games smoothly and making the phone feel overall snacking. The note 9 and not line pro do not come with fancy high refresh rate screens.

The actual experience of using the phones still feels plenty smooth, and we did not feel much of a stutter or a slowdown while using them. The Redmi Note 9 pro features a Qualcomm snapdragon 720 g processor. Now this is a fast mid-range processor, making the gaming loading of apps in browsing more than satisfactory, especially considering the budget price of the phone. It's important to note that the Redmi Note 9 pro loads games faster than the note 9, and if you happen to be a gamer and looking into these two models, you would be better off with the note 9 pro in this case, which does better overall in the gaming department. The Redmi Note 9 in the Redmi Note.9 pro both supports face, unlock and fingerprint unlocked features, but are those quick enough we face a lot in both smartphones is done via a 2d image, regular photo taken with the selfie camera, so it is not the most secure option. However, it works excellent on both phones, both in daylight and in low-light situations.

The fingerprint sensor on the note 9 is situated on the back, while the note 9 pro rocks a fingerprint sensor built inside the power button on the side. Both are highly effective and very quick with a great, if not perfect, accuracy and speed. One aspect that could be kind of confusing. With me: I 11, on the Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi Note, 9 trolls is lock screen notifications. Xiaomi has a confusing way to handle notifications on the lock screen and, if you're coming from another brand, this will definitely confuse you.

The phones would sometimes show notifications on the lock screen and other times they won't. In fact, when you lock your phone after several minutes, all notifications disappear from the lock screen, but when you lock it all, the notifications can still be found in the notification drop-down. Now this is strange and can be quite annoying. You can actually miss notifications because of this one area where both phones Excel, is battery life. Both of them come with giant five thousand and 20 William hour battery cells, both phones more than 14 hours, an hour web browsing tests, we above most others and the only other phone that lasts so long is the Moto G power check out the description box for a full review of that phone.

It's also quite good. Now, with moderate to heavy use, the big battery should last you a day and definitely more if you're a light: smartphone user just average one, the Redmi Note: 9 pro scored, 10 hours and 56 minutes an hour, 3d gaming test as well, which means that if you decide to play the whole day in the office instead of working, you can do it. You should still be able to come home with some juice left. We should also mention that both phones support fast charging. However, it still takes time to charge those enormous battery cells.

Okay, what about availability and price? Xiaomi's phones are not sold in the United States, but they are available in the United Kingdom Europe Indian, most of the rest of the world. He Redmi Note mine is available and just 200 pounds and about 200 euros in Europe through Amazon and Xiaomi is official website me calm, while the Redmi Note 9 pro sells for 250 pounds and those are great prices for two very good budget models. So this concludes our review of Xiaomi Redmi, note mine and the Redmi Note 9 pro.
