Lenovo IdeaPad D330 Review: A Great Surface Go Alternative?

The Lenovo IdeaPad DD 330 as a new 10.1-inch Windows tablet that directly competes with the Microsoft servers go starting at around 300 u. s. dollars. It is much cheaper among its highlights, our Intel Germany, like processors, up to 128, gigabyte of storage, optional LTE and the keyboard dock. Well, how good is this? An expensive, Windows tablet, I manage for my next upload calm- and this is my Lenovo IdeaPad ad 330 review. S is common at this price range.

The Lenovo, IdeaPad, TSP or 30 has a full plastic body, even though it is well-built. It does not feel as high-end as his surfers go on the top. It is quite thin, but gets thicker towards the bottom was nine point: five millimeters. Furthermore, it weighs just under 600 grams, which is heavier than most Android tablets, but not too bad for a Windows device. We get two speakers underneath the screen and the sound quality is acceptable, but not perfect.

It is lacking a decent base because the front-facing camera has a low resolution of 2 megapixels. You won't be able to take detailed selfies, but it's good enough for video calls the 5 megapixel camera on the back behaves. Similarly, it is fine for snapshots, but certainly not great. On the right side, we get a connector for the power and a USB 3.1 type C port, which you can use to charge. The tablet 2 above that we get the volume controls and the power button on the left side is there's a standard, headphone jack and all the way on the bottom.

We get the connector for the keyboard dock, there's no fingerprint scanner next to the connector for the keyboard sits a micro SD card slot. If you have CIT versions, letters where you sim card fits as well, I tested the ID with an O 2 SIM cards in Germany, and so connection is fine. Let's get to the key Batik of the IdeaPad III, no 30, that one is made of plastic to waste 512 grams, and it's quite quick again with eight point: five millimeters I, like that we are getting two additional USB 2.0 ports on the sides, so in total the tablet has three USB ports, which are enough to connect a lot of accessories because of the 10.1-inch screen. The keyboard is noticeably smaller than a standard. Notebook keyboard, I tapped quite a lot on it, and you certainly can get used to it.

My only real complain about this tablet is the upper row of the keyboard, Lenovo kind of squashed, the escape and delete key onto the numbers row. Because of that the numbers and special characters are not where they normally are. Well, as I said you can get used to it. There's a touchpad underneath the keyboard, which is quite big for a tablet of the size. It works just as a Lenovo IdeaPad East winner 30 has a 10.1 inch IPS display that has a resolution of 1280 by 800 or 1920 by 1200, depending on the version you are getting usually I. Think a full HD resolution is fine on 10 inches, and that is the case.

Here was my review unit. Texan icons, look sharp if you use it normally. If you decide to get the HD version, you probably you will notice a big difference compared to you a smartphone, usually HD screens can look a bit blurry well, at least if you are used to something else. However, in both cases we do get a PS screens with wide viewing angles again. My review unit has the full HD screen and the display is great.

Colors and contrasts are good, and it is bright enough. I also like that it is illuminated according to Lenovo you can you see Lenovo active pen 2 on here. That is the same thing: I reviewed with the Lenovo mix, 520 already I. Guess it works the same, but again, I have not written that. As with this green, you can choose different hardware options within Lenovo.

IdeaPad is when at 30 you can get it with an intercessory, 1 and 4000 or Intel Pentium server and 5,000 ships at the end, 4000 is a dual-core shop, with both cores clocked at 1 point 1 to 2 point 6 gigahertz. On the other hand, the end 5000 is a quad-core chip was 4 cores clocked at 1.1 to 2.7 gigahertz. Other options are 2 gigabytes or 4 gigabytes of RAM, and the 32 gigabyte, 64 gigabytes or 128 gigabyte internal flash storage my ruby unit is the one we see inter and 5000 4 gigabytes of RAM, 128, gigabyte of storage and LTE in Europe that one costs 499 euros since I, don't have the cheapest version. I cannot test the performance of that one. However, I did use similar devices in the past, and it should be fine for light office work and light web browsing because it is a dual ship, and it has two gigabytes of RAM.

Only. It won't be that great for multitasking, though again my review unit has the Intel and 5000 was 4 gigabytes of RAM and that one is fine for some multitasking and even light photo what I even try to edit videos on Adobe Premiere rush. Well, this tablet is not ideal for that you kind of can, but you have to be very patient. It takes just under four hours to render a simple, 20 minute, 4k video. While it works much better with HD videos, you probably should invest a bit more.

If you really want to edit videos or play games on here. However, you obviously can play some games on the DS.330 I couldn't get thought and going, but that one is too demanding for this platform. Anyways, simpler ones like ah slide 9 one quite smoothly, though, and the graphics look. Nice too Villanueva idea buddies when a 30 is mainly suited for office work, and that is the case for all versions of this tablet. If you can, you probably should go for the version with the internet and five thousand and four gigabytes of RAM.

That one is a bit better. If you want to use two apps at the same time, like maybe Photoshop and word, was Chrome and YouTube running in the background in the geek bench for benchmark tests, the signature performance is just a bit weaker than the surface go really just a tiny bit, and it is quite impressive that the idea of additional 30 is noticeably faster than Microsoft's competition in the mighty go test. Remember the surface go: has a dual-core shop only! On the other hand, the graphics performance of the intervention, gold of C silver skull is better and the scene a bench benchmarks. It means that apps and games which can use the graphics chip should run noticeably better on the surface, go but then again the CPU of the IdeaPad e-330 is faster, and that is what the Cine bench CPU test shows -. By the way, the performance of CN 5000 is also a bit better than tablets with an N 4200 processors we've seen that one in devices like this Asus, which three the battery life of ZEE Lenovo IdeaPad Easter nursery, is a welcome surprise.

In fact, in my standard battery test, I'd gotten one time of 11.5 hours for this test, I'm always looping an HD video at 50% brightness, as you can see in my comparison, that is a perfect with a compared to other Windows tablets and especially compared to the service go to. While you can get a battery life of over 10 hours when watching videos locally. That is not the case. If you play games stream, YouTube or most everyday tasks, usually I got a real-life runtime of six to eight hours. It always depends on what exactly you're doing, but especially when considering the price that battery life is a very good.

So is the Lenovo IdeaPad? Is lunar 30 a good Windows tablet considering its price? It's a very good tablet. Yes, we get a plastic body only, but it is much cheaper than the surface go. At the same time. The performance is pretty good, at least if you need of office work or a light represent. Only the foliage v8s plea looks nice too.

The optional 4G works great, and the battery life is very good as well again. I did not really use the cheapest version for 299 euros. You have to remember that with this one, you work at a bit weaker performance and the weaker display. I would not recommend that unit. Sorry, as you really notebook replacement, I think it is too small for that.

But if you're looking for a portable and affordable Windows tablet for office works, I think you will be happy with it if you're looking for that, you don't have that many alternatives anyway. Let's take a look at some. Obviously, a direct competitor is the Microsoft Surface go I mentioned that one a couple of times already. It is an interesting alternative if you're willing to pay much more for a much better build quality. The design of the surface goes really excellent.

Some apps that need a great lecture, proven one better tool, however, including the keyboard. It usually cost at least 50 euros more, even the highest spec version of CD. So not sorry with LTE, is cheaper. If you want to spend even less, you could check out, see shoo by so book a mini, while that is a China tablet available at import shops. Only.

You usually can get it for under $300, including the keyboard. It features a full HD screen and a metal body. However, since it's available from China, only you probably won't get any local warranties. Alright, that's my review of the Lenovo IdeaPad additional 30. If you have any questions, please feel free to write me down below and check out a mine, Xavier calm on the best section.

You can always find my current recommendations, and I'm MJ for my next table. Calm thanks for watching.
