Iphone XS Max Unboxing + Accessory Recommendations :) By Nneka Friedel

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, thank you so much for coming through. If you are new to my channel, my name is niece Fried aka make up, and I welcome you all to my channel. So for this video it's going to be a little different I'm, actually not going to be doing any makeup. The only thing that I have on my face today is my fancy beauty lip gloss. The UM fancy gloss balm in the Diamond milk shade, as you can tell from the title of my video I am going to be doing my iPhone unboxing, the iPhone, XS or 10s Max and I did get it in gold. I had always been like an Android user and then finally, I went over to iPhone I.

Think around the for us, I think the 4s was my first phone, then I went to the 5s, and then I went to the sixth, and then I held on to the six for about two years, which is the first time I've ever had a phone longer than a year. I've always like upgraded every year and after the six for two years, I went to the 7 plus was my first ever plus size phone. That was the first time that I had a phone that was 256, gigs and I used that for my trip to Nigeria, which I filmed everything on so this phone is also 256. Gigs I didn't think that the 512 gig was needed for me, especially because I know that even with making all the videos that I made I'm in Nigeria I still didn't fill it up, and I do take a lot of selfies and I still have not filled up. My ten, so yeah I got 256 I feel like unless you're I mean I honestly, don't know who can fill up a 512 gig.

But if you have the $1500 that it cost for the 512, then be my guest go ahead and do it so, let's open it up, I mean I, took it out of the package. I did get my phone on the 21st I did preorder it on the 14th of September, but I've been holding on to it, because I didn't want to open it until I was able to do a video and, of course, I needed to hurry up and do it because my nails are still cute. So, okay, so box is open. We have our paperwork here normal stuff, and it actually is not that big. It doesn't look that big okay, so here we are- and this really is a beautiful gold color, it's kind of like pearly, it's like adolescent, like almost iridescent, but not really.

It's really, really pretty, so I'm kind of happy that I got this, and then we have our normal charger, and we have our air pods, the wired ones, and we have our connector so yep. So that's really! What's normally in the box, I actually I'm very happy that it's not as big as I was expecting it to look because I, remember, I did watch a couple of YouTube videos, and it was told some guy said that I forgot the name of the person, but he definitely was saying that it was just so big that he couldn't even text with one hand, and he's a guy, so he also has bigger hands I'm assuming, and actually it's really not the big. It is the same size as the plus and I didn't actually like the plus when I had the 7 plus, because I just felt like I couldn't do a lot of things, but for some reason this just doesn't seem that bad definitely bigger I want to say that it's slimmer, but they look about the same size. So both cameras are still 12.1, megapixels I believe all right. So let's turn it on.

Hopefully it's already charged. If not, then I got to charge it. Oh okay, apples on my phone is pretty charged. So, as you do know, this comes with an A 12 Bionic chip. So everything is going to be a little faster.

There weren't really that many changes from the keynote speech at Apple but yeah. Oh all, right. We got our hello because it is faster, I'm, probably, and it's bigger, I'm, probably gonna actually start playing games again. I haven't had a game on my phone since Nigeria and that's only because I knew there wasn't going to be much TV and stuff like that, and I put games on my phone um, but yeah I know that games are gonna, be awesome on this Hey, so I finally did set up my new phone here. We have it.

Don't worry about I. Do put my face as my screen as my screen photo. So don't judge me. I'm going to talk a little about the XR which hasn't come out yet, but I just kind of wanted to mention it, because I was at the gym on Friday the 21st, which is the day that the phone actually did come out, and the date was delivered to my house, and there were two ladies in the gym, and they were talking about the new phones and the XR. And one of the ladies said her dad had asked had told her that she should totally wait for the XR to come out.

I wanted to interject and just let her know that should totally just get. If she's going to be getting a new phone, she should just get the XS or the XS max, because XR, unless you're, really there for the colors or the pixels and the XR are pretty much comparable to the iPhone 4s, which came out several years ago. I believe it's about 336 PPI. So, if you're planning on doing that and spending seven hundred and forty-nine dollars plus tax on a phone that basically has the same features as a phone that came out I'm going to save at least six years ago, um, then you know it's totally up to you, but I wouldn't suggest it, so I'm, just going to go into my favorite accessories for my iPhone I'm, just going to show you the iPhone case and stand up a balloon ROG which is kind of what people would call like a stopper. Is that what it's called a stopper? Well, this is the case that I've been using for like six months or longer for my iPhone 10.

It's a mood. It's a mood, it's kind of like a mood ring it's a mood case. So basically, if I'm in a good mood it only, it actually only picks up good things. So it's like I'm in a romantic mood, I'm in a happy mood. I'm gonna I forgot what the third one was I'll put it down below, but both items, both the balloon ROG and the phone case- are both from case-mate.

I will also put a link to case mates website in my description box, but I really have to say that it's not super bulky it does make. It does make me forget that my phone is so thin anon until I took my phone out just now to compare it to the iPhone.10's max did I realize that my so thin but yeah it really does protect. My phone I've dropped my phone a few times, and I've never really ever had to worry about it. So I actually bought a new case from case-mate for my tennis max, so I purchased the dizzy petals phone case. It's made with genuine flowers, I should have actually oh I can take it out.

So it looks like this. It's really cute nice little girlie case and yeah. It's made with genuine flowers and is it rose? Gold I thought it was silver, but I guess it is rose gold, but it's still more of a clear case. So you can see that my phone is gold, and then I did get a brand new balloon ROG to go with my phone case. So it's like a clear gel sparkly.

Sparkly balloon dog, so that's going to go at the back of my phone, so yeah I am excited to use this case for screen protectors. I do use for screen protectors, I, don't care how many drop tests and water tests that they do I'm going to be protecting my phone for as long as I can the brand of screen protector that I use is the smote on which I can get which you can get at Amazon, and so it worked really well for me on my iPhone 10, and I'm, pretty sure it's going to be the same for my tennis max so yeah. That's not just about makeup on my channel, as you probably already know, because I've definitely talked about it in the past on my channel that I want to incorporate yoga, but I'm still in a space where I can't really record my yoga poses and I kind of just want to do like a short yoga class for you guys that you can practice at home, and we can like to do it together. That's really like my goal, essentially to do a couple of yoga classes online so that you can take the yoga with you anywhere and do it anywhere that you are so that yeah, that's really about it.

I will be doing other tech, videos and learning more about tech, because I mean I always have like new technology, and yet I feel like I. Don't really take advantage of it. So from this point forward I plan on using my phone and using anything else that I get and really actually using it, not just using it for basic things. I really want to get the most out of my phone because I am paying for it. So yeah, that's really about it!
