So let's go ahead and get started with today's video first thing you might notice is that this isn't quite a head-to-head comparison, because you have the max version versus your regular version.

Um the iPhone 12 Pro does have a max edition one. So it's not quite apples to apples comparison, but nonetheless it's still a comparison, and I think it's pretty much gives you a good idea between the phones, if you guys are looking to upgrade because as you notice between these two devices, first, if you look at the external condition of the iPhone 12 Pro in terms of size, pretty much as close, if not you know similar in terms of the height here as we're looking just a little bigger on the iPhone max. Of course, the 12 pro does have a max edition, and if we take a look at the back right couple, things you'll notice also. Is that you have the triple lens camera on the iPhone 12 Pro versus the dual lens camera on the max? Also, the other piece that you notice difference is this black on spot or underneath this camera lens? Well, that's a new technology apple has put in on their iPhone known as LI DAR um sensors, which improve autofocus in photography and night mode of photoshoot. Also, a couple other things to notice is that you have this Apple logo, where, on the iPhone, um 10s max it's more towards the upper piece where on the iPhone 12 Pro it's towards the back middle section of it, and then you'll also notice.

The word apple um iPhone is remove on the iPhone 12 Pro. No, this is not a fake device. This is the actual real device and not sure why Apple has gone away with the word iPhone on it, which to me, looked pretty cool to have that printing, but it's not any more there, but that's up to apple, not sure if it was saving ink or just saving the manufacturing cost, or anything like that. Let's take a look at the other pieces. Um, just first look at the actual stop here, as you notice, the top on the iPhone 12 Pro does look a little bigger in terms of the edges here.

It is, of course, the more edgy versus where you have the iPhone um tennis max more rounded. So that's one thing you notice looks a little thicker um. If we take a look at the side with the volume up in the silent button, you notice on the iPhone 12 Pro does have the sim card on this side, where, if you look on the other side, the iPhone max here, um it's on this side, that's because on the iPhone 12 Pro apple has gone away. Um and added that 5g MMM weight antenna technology would they have to make room for it um and that's why they have to move the sim card on the other side? And if we take a look at the bottom here same thing, you still see um the charging port and the speaker there's a little less speaker on the iPhone 12 Pro, but nonetheless it does have some powerful studio grade speaker versus the iPhone 10s max, which still has some pretty great speaker as well. Now that we have seen much of a difference, so let's go ahead and do the first test we have between.

This is actually boot test to see which one can power on first for us, so we're going to go ahead and power both of these devices on as you notice, the Apple logo did pop up on the max before the 12 pro uh. But does that really going to make a difference in terms of which one gets to the home screen we'll see in a second here um and as you can see here, the iPhone 12 Pro did win um and would expect it to win a little in terms of speed, and that was the case. The iPhone 12 Pro did boot up a little faster as you'll notice on the iPhone max. Here we haven't quite upgraded to um. You know we did upgrade it to iOS 14 here, so both of the phones are upgraded to the latest technology um on these devices, and they both do get updates here.

All the iPhone max here does get the update. So let's talk about the actual screen display here, as you can see between these phones, they don't have the home button. They have from top bottom all the way full screen. You do see visually. Of course the max version does have bigger screen, because this is the regular version.

You have a little less screen. So that's one thing: you'll notice, how big is the screen? Well, the max has a 6.1 uh screen display versus a 6.1 one, five versus six point, one zero point: four um inch display difference. Does it really matter um? It's still in the six um six inches um range for most part devices that are out there, so not sure if you'll notice the difference of it. Let's talk about the actual technology so on the iPhone 12 Pro does um both have sort of this LE ole duh display technology, which um. If you look at the brightness uh, the iPhone 12 Pro does have 1200 versus the 625 on the max edition of it.

So the brightness on the iPhone 12 Pro is a little better of it and with that um, but you're going to notice just uh more enhanced peak brightness display, of course, both of them uh both of the displays have about well. If you look at the screen to body ratio, you have around the 86 on the iPhone 12 Pro versus the 84, so not too much uh difference there as well that you'll notice. If we really talk about uh, the actual technology, is that both of them does have the super retina display um, the iPhone 12 Pro has something known as Dr versus um, the iPhone max, which only has HD. So really what that means is, if you want to get really technical, is that you? You have a little better improvement in the actual display technology on the 12 pro, not that too much that you'll notice, but it does have improved mint on it. Let's talk about the battery, of course, the battery is a key thing to talk about, especially with these two phones has the battery life on the 12 pro um improved versus the max.

Well, not quite so, the iPhone 12 Pro only has about a 2 800-ish mega my versus 3100 is hum on the iPhone max. So you have a bigger battery because it is a bigger size phone. Of course, this is not the max you do have to keep in mind. How much is that um in terms of video playback? That seems to be the area that you want to talk about, especially if you're talking about battery, because that tells you how well the battery holds up well on the iPhone 12 Pro you have 17 hours of video playback where, on the iPhone max, you have 15 hours so two hours difference in terms of it, although the max doesn't have a bigger capacity battery video playback kind of determines it. So, overall, do we see an improvement in battery life? Probably the same.

You might, if you're looking to buy it and just purely off battery life. It's not really much of an improvement in terms of that they do still last pretty long, but not too big of a difference that you're going to notice, of course, on the iPhone 12 Pro you have um this capability with mega safe wireless charging. That's available that apple has recently introduced. That's not available on the iPhone max. The max does still charge wirelessly, which means, if you put on a wireless pad, it will charge um, so it might actually charge on um, but on the iPhone.12 pro is that they have these special coil that allows you to do what's known as mega. Save charging capabilities which might be pretty cool may not depend on we'll see how the those tests come out.

Let's talk about the storage device on these, both phones. Both of these phones, are pretty much um. You know they come with the base. Your base model comes with on the iPhone 12 Pro. You have 128 gigs versus the iPhone max which starts at the 64 gig.

Then their mid-grade storage goes about 256 for both of the phones and then the upper tier. Of course, both of the phones holds up about half a terabyte, so 512 gigs, so storage right if you're looking to max out both still are under the 512 limitation. As you see, some android phones go up to into the terabyte which apple hasn't hit. Yet so that's um something to note between these two phones. Let's talk about a little about the camera, so the camera is an aspect that apple seems to pride itself in, and it's something that we want.

We don't want to miss out discussing and to talk about these cameras. A lot that we've seen is that triple versus your double lens. What does that give you in terms of just the whole camera experience? Well, the triple lens and the double lens. There's couple things you want to take a note between that is that now, with the triple lens, you have four times the zoom versus your two times: the optical zoom, along with the four times Lucia ultra-wide and telephoto feature, and this whole new video recording feature. That's not available on the iPhone max.

Is that dopey grade quality, video recording, that's possible. So, if you're looking to use it for to create movies, and such apple has kind of released that it is the same, doubly quality that people use in the film industry to record. So you can technically create pretty much of movies with the iPhone 12 Pro. Of course, you know, might need a lot, a good tripod and such, but it does give you that option, of course, on the iPhone max. Of course, you still have 4k up to if we toggle up to 60 frames per second, so not too much of a difference.

If you're a person, that's looking to up your game in terms of video recording, iPhone 12 Pro might be something you want to take a look at also, of course, both of the phones that have photography um does have improved on the iPhone.12 pro does have this whole night mode improvement with the lid or technology that's available now, so you have better shooting in night mode. Of course, both of the phones does still uh. You know both have photography, uh sort of lighting, that's available, so you're not missing too much in terms of photography-wise. If you're looking to take just purely picture, you get both of the phones to do that. For you, and now, let's talk about the actual software piece of it.

As we mentioned, both of these phones do upgrade to all the iPhone 12 Pro does come with iOS 14 pre-installed, where the phone max you do have to upgrade to iOS 14, and it's available for there for you to upgrade to iOS 14. , probably go since the iPhone max was released only 2018. So it's been two years. It's probably going to get a couple more years out of it. You're still going to get updates to the phone.

It's not that the upgrades are gonna, go away, as you see with some features on the iOS 14 every pretty much. All of that is there. If you're looking to play games or do anything on these apps, you know all that is pretty much available. It's not gone or anything like that. It's still available.

You have sort of that support for pretty much most games. Of course, heavier graphics game. You might be wanna. Look. You might want to look into upgrading the whole experience overall here if we go to most apps, you know open up about equivalent between these devices.

We haven't seen any sort of like any sort of differences that make up that. You noticed right off the bat you know. Of course, both of the phones does do a pretty good job in terms of that itself, no real issues, if you're using it for shopping gaming, gaming, wise. You know we haven't seen too much difference between these devices. The hold up pretty.

Well, no issues there to complain, but with the new iPhone 12 Pro did improve the whole AR experience which might not, which it won't be really possible with the iPhone max here. So, if you're looking to do gaming with AR um augmented reality, it's something to look into that apple has improved, made some adjustments and overall experience. As you see here, we're going to notice that overall up user and ex experience that you have, of course, if you're looking for basic video streaming between these devices, there isn't much going on between it. Of course, both of them allows you to stream extreme quality videos without really any issues. Um, of course, streaming wise, like I said 15 hour versus 17 hours, are you going to make? Is it going to make big of a difference? Not really much uh depends on how much you really stream videos you're not going to notice much of a difference so, but the iPhone 12 Pro, of course, is going to give updates for another.

You know, since it just came out at least five years or so the iPhone max, maybe two three years more for sure- will still keep on getting the update, so nothing to worry about. So, let's answer the question: is it worth upgrading to the iPhone 12 Pro? If you have the iPhone 10 s max? Well, a couple of things to look at here: are you really looking to uh? Do a lot more, maybe enhance um recording things of that nature and if that's the case, you might want to consider the iPhone 12 Pro with the improved video and stereotype um improvement, and just the overall experience the 12 pro might be it. But overall, if we don't see much difference in terms of upgrading from the iPhone max to the 12 pro, both of these devices are phenomenal. Of course, this is an apple to apple comparison, because the 12 pro we don't have the max here to compare, but we'll make a video of comparing that of it. Besides that there really isn't much that you have.

The other noticeable difference we mentioned is that the iPhone 12 Pro does have the 5g uh 5g technology available. Now, if your carrier does support it, but if your carrier doesn't really support 5g, some big carriers, of course does. But if you have a small carrier, really won't make a difference for you, because they don't have the technology, it's so new to app iPhones and some carriers, not so nothing to really um. You know consider if it's not available for you, so should you upgrade? Should you not totally purely a decision? Of course, you have to make on our opinion. It's not really much of update there isn't too much going on between these two phones that are drastically different.

That will sway you to go from one to another. Besides those minor camera and the 5g updates that's coming out of it. Overall software, both phones are supported. You might want to wait if you have the iPhone 10 uh 10s max couple more years to upgrade so, hopefully that's it for you guys, thanks for watching guys. Hopefully this video was helpful.
