BlackBerry KEY2 Unboxing Video

Everybody welcome back to tech Odyssey, so today, I'm here with an unboxing video on my fabulous brand-new BlackBerry mobile key ? I'm happy to have this here today, I've been waiting a very long time and this one you know, I purchased with my own dollar, so I've been an anxiously awaiting consumer because. I pre-ordered it on June, 29th and I. Just got it today, August 1st, when it released on July the 13th. So it's been quite a wait, but now this here I'm super excited I was super happy whenever it shipped, and I got the notification, and it's taking a lot of self-control and restraint to just keep from ripping the box off this and playing with it. So I wanted to go ahead and make an unboxing video to share with all you guys. So, of course, this is blackberry, key ?, it's the follow-up from the key one.

I love the key one. It was an excellent transition to a full QWERTY keyboard, with the physical keyboard, all the capacitive stuff, to swipe gestures and all that great stuff, but it did have a shortfall, the biggest one that, at least in my opinion, I had one I got one on launch day. It was just too slow. For me, the snapdragon 625 is a very efficient processor. I mean better battery life for days great at multitasking, straight line speed.

Not so much so one of my biggest hopes- and you know even before these specs came out- I remember I was talking. My buddy and I was like they need to put that new 660 in it, and then there were rumors. They were just going to put the 630 in it, and I was like is 6:30 I'm, not gonna, buy it. It's still too slow. I thought I had hoped was going to come out with a 660 with four gigs of RAM.

Well, they one-up me on that one, and they put the 660 in it, but they also put in six gigs of ram. So this is probably the most phenomenal multi teeth: multitasking phone beast on the market ever created of all times, super happy, and I'm crazy, happy about opening it. So here on the back, so we've got the intelligent keyboard, it's the full physical keyboard, but it has the swipe gestures, and it's capacitive. So you can slide your finger across that you can scroll. It's got the built-in fingerprint sensor into the space bar, so that's cool! It's a GSM unlocked 4G LTE.

Furthermore, it's got a 4.5 inch IPS panel, sixteen twenty by ten eighty, it's 434 pixels per inch, which is better than the iPhone, the iPhone eight, and it's got a 4.7-inch screen so kudos to them. In that department, I'm anxious to see how the display is I've been told it was pretty much the same thing as in the first one, which I wasn't overly crazy about, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. It's got that Snapdragon 6668 core processor. That I was talking about. It's got dual 12 megapixel rear cameras.

You can also do the thing. It's got that you know the both effect, and you can do that cool picture I'm. Drawing a complete blank on it right now, but like the profile picture, I can't remember what it's called for life me I remember it later, but it's got the wide lens, and it's also got the regular lens. So that's super cool, eight megapixel front camera. It's got 64 gigs of on-board storage, which is good.

You can expand that you can throw an SD card in there. Of course, you've got the six gigabytes of RAM, which is super cool, 35 million. Thirty-Five hundred million battery, which is great even though the 660 is still a 6 Series CPU they're, still very much battery and power efficient, much better than the eight series, so I would expect I. Remember looking at the benchmarks on this and I think the benchmarks were comparable to the Snapdragon 820 or very close to the 821, but you're going to get a lot more efficiency out of it at the eight 2821 were perfect. Processors are very powerful, but that's so great on the battery life and that was kind of about two generations ago.

So if you think, like the think of the s7 I, think the Galaxy S7 and the United States is the one that had the 820 in it, because when the pixel one came out, that's when the 820 one came out and then Samsung jumped straight to the 8:35 so yeah. This is about on par CPU wise with a Samsung Galaxy S7. Now that I've talked about this so much, we hope, go and open the box shoot sticker. I, don't have a knife. I got it: okay, no emergency! Yet there we go shoot and the stickers off.

So it's very similar box of both the BlackBerry motion and the key one, this black cardboard box- and it's got this indented on. There's cool and voil? the BlackBerry key ? in all its glory, and it's got the cool little D tech shield on it blackberry shield of security power. There, a nice feel to it, I kind of expected one end to me, especially like the top more top-heavy than the other, but the weight is very balanced throughout, and I like it, you've got the silver trim around these black buttons. Of course, it's got the serrated little textured edge here on the power button, no buttons on this side. This is a one clean, looking phone man, this thing's balanced I, like it alright go ahead.

How are this baby up? Taxa takes this sticker off, so you can see, and I'm going to enjoy playing with this today. Alright, so take the tray out. We got the box here. So they've got a sim removal tool and some documentation in here there we go some removal tool, documentation which I'm, not gonna, read can't be bothered alright. So what else is in here? We've got these BlackBerry earphones with a little blackberry logo on them.

Look curious to see how those sound brand ass we've got our super cool power, brick. Of course, it's quick charge. Blackberry logo there as well I like that I'm very happy that they have they're consistently putting the power brick, the USB connector. Here, that's one thing: I hated with some older ones, especially even like the z10, the z30 I, think it was e30. It had the kind of rounded power brick, but then it had the power outlet on the side.

I can't live my life that way, and then here we have a very, very disappointingly short, the USB cable. So it looks like they borrowed one from Apple's playbook on this, the other fruit, and they made a tiny cable I have a like 6 foot, cable that I'm going to use, so I'm, not really overly worried about that. But I wish that it were a large power, cable and that's all, is in there all right. So, as you can see very neat, nice easy, not a lot of stuff in here that you really got to worry about. I'll put this back, I can mess around with it later hi there fancy meeting you here, I'll go ahead and pull this off too.

So you, the back. It's got this texturized rubber on the back. It should be fairly drippy. I, don't have a case for it. Yet so, hopefully I can manage not to drop it.

It's a keyboard. It's actually got a kind of rubberized feeling to it. Furthermore, it's a little more click. You may be able to hear this. I'll put it next to my microphone, so hopefully that picked up I'm, not sure if I won't know till I hit it recording, but it definitely has some feedback on it.

At least as far as sound goes this little clicking, and I've heard some complaints. People have been talking about how click the space bar is. It's definitely a little louder and more click than the other buttons, but I mean if you use a mechanical keyboard, then you're really not going to have too much loose too much sleep over this, because it's a lot quieter than that. There's some clicking as to it, we'll see how it breaks in as I use it. The buttons are definitely nice very reminiscent of the blackberry classic, but it looks like the buttons are bigger, they're, more squared-off, so kind of like the passport look and yeah.

Overall. This is a one good-looking phone you've got. The BlackBerry logo is subdued there with black. Of course, you've got those dual cameras back there all the goodies, so I'm going to test this out, and I'm gonna. Do my full review feel free to ask any questions.

Leave any comments down in the comment section. A lot of good stuff and I will keep out up to date, probably post a couple pictures on the Instagram as well. I'm super excited about this I'm gonna mess with this play with it all evening. So that's what I'm be doing today anyway, thanks for tuning in, hopefully you all enjoyed this, and you'll get a good eyes on with the phone and the unboxing. So you can know what to expect.

Hopefully you have yours or if you ordered one you get it soon and as always, thanks for tuning in and checking out the content and for all the good stuff. So thank you all, and I'll see you again soon.
