iPhone 11 Pro Max Review | The Gadget Show

Hello welcome to The Gadget Show YouTube channel my name's mark, and I'm here. To give you first looks and reviews of the latest tech today we're going to take a look at the iPhone 11 Pro Max I'm, an Android user, so I'm always interested to see what the iPhone has to offer. This is an incredibly expensive phone retailing for one thousand one hundred and forty-nine pounds from Apple's website. I spent the last few days testing this out. I'm, really intrigued by the camera. Furthermore, I found the battery life to be excellent, but before we get into all that, let's take a look at the physical design looks pretty much like the old iPhone, the major difference being the camera setup.

On the back now, when I first saw the reveal of this camera setup, I thought. Oh, it looks pretty ugly, but actually in person its finest there's, not really an issue with it at all and, of course, you've always got the option of that very cool case that turns it into a rocket launcher. The feels very nice actually feels like it's not going to slip out the hand. You still got the notch, which I'm quite surprised that- and this doesn't feel like it's really moved on much in terms of the design volume, on/off, toggle volume, rocker keys speakers down the bottom, still sticking with the standard, Apple charger and then on this side, you've got the screen, lock power button and also the SIM card tray. At the time of the review.

You can see this pro max was running version of thirteen point. One point two: so here's a quick demo of the iPhones front-facing camera and actually out of hand felt with not only the iPhone but the make certain pro father, Shogun kind of to send me a stack of mobiles to try out. So if you want to see how the iPhone compares to make those pro one four, seventy got the note 10 there's a stack of them waiting for me at home, be sure to subscribe to the gadget. Show shell on my own channel as the videos will be appearing across okay, I, really like the iPhone camera and I, really like the new, triple n setup that allows you to switch between the lenses, even when you're recording so there you can see it did a little jumping out to the wide-angle lens, and it has no problem, simply press the button on the screen, and it does that kind of really cool jump effect. The different lenses can be used for photography as well.

You can switch between them very easily to give you a zoomed in mode normal kind of mode and a wide-angle mode, and the camera overall gives you plenty of detail. It's quick and responsive, and you get some good results. I also really like the portrait modes, there's quite a wide variety, including a high key light, mono mode that gives this really cool white cutout effect. I didn't notice this at first, but you can see that when you're in normal mode, the picture is slightly extended. So this is what you're taking a photo of in the middle.

What's at the side is actually what you'd see in widescreen mode, so if I change that's wide, you can see the side now goes black got that back to normal see it comes in, and it also recognizes when you're doing something to close-up, and you're not going to want to wide, and you see how that that fades out. It's very subtle. Remove the Apple in comes the extra wide view, so it's very dark night, and I'm intrigued because I'm the advert for the new iPhone. We have that little section where the ROG has the photo taken and the room's pitch black. So is it really that good? You can't see because probably the cameras going to look there's a cabin behind me.

I've got the iPhone here, and I'm going to turn off my little recording light now so there it is that's what the iPhones got to work with. It is really dark out. It's night. You can see the cameras struggling to focus at all. Let's give us something to look at.

So that's interesting straight away on the screen. You can see how dark it is, but I can actually see the carrot. So it's there, it's visible. Let's take a photo three two one locked I'm at the bottom. Yes, as it's done, that's amazing, given the low level of light, I'm really impressed with the photos, you can see.

I've taken a couple, they tend to look like a bit of an oil painting. Filter has been applied. You can also film in the dark. So this is films just after I took those photos, it is really dark, and yet you can see it's just like it's at a low level of light, and it looks like you've sort of got a weird filter on that makes everything a little blurry. But even when I go down this little size section, it was really dark here.

You can still make out the green color of the plants. I also really like the wide-angle lens for using with time lapses. It just gives that extra wide shot and allows you to get into the rolling clouds. I think the results look perfect. What you've got all that amazing footage you know want to do something with it and iMovie is a great little for editing footage, and it even comes with a little trailer creator, which I thought was very cool, and this is where you can hear the speakers very loudly.

They are on the bottom, so you can't rank of a lot just turn that down, and so you can see that I've made a little trailer using the footage that I've shot earlier in the day. It's a really fun way of using the footage, and, of course you not have to just use English trailer mode. You can put together a full vlog on your actual iPhone and then publish it out to the world in terms of the camera video quality, you can go to 720p at 30 frames per second right up to 4k at 60 frames per second first slo-mo. You can either do 1080 HD at 120 frames per second or 10 880 HD at 240 frames per second one thing: I've really noticed Android about this phone is the speakers on it. The sound quality is perfect.

It actually has a bit more of a bass sound to it, and I'm used to hearing quite tinny sound ask for mobile, and I'd normally recommend using headphones or an external speaker, but actually watching content on this or playing games. You can hear that basically a sound coming out of the bottom of speaker and even if you hand covers it, you can still hear it fairly clearly, so it's great as a game playing mobile or to watch media I. Think if you are an iPhone user, you're going to love it. Obviously it's more of the same I have to say as an Android user. It's a very good camera.

I love the camera and the big benefit. Of course, is you get this wonderful ecosystem of apps? You just know everything's gonna, work, I, think the new green Gray back looks fantastic I like the new position of the logo and actually, overall, it is a very Side mobile phone. That being said, I've not seen anything on here that has made me really want to swap away from Android Apple seem to be catching up with a lot of other manufacturers rather than innovating and putting something in here. That makes me think wow I've not seen that before I really can't live without it. I was also quite disappointed to find the design still includes this massive notch.

Now, if you're an existing iPhone user, this probably won't bother you used to it, but on Android, you've got quite a few options. Those are now not free who knows. Maybe next year will be the year Apple catches up with everyone else and removes the giant notch I hope you found this short review useful. If you have please consider subscribing now The Gadget Show channel. Well, it's also to my channel, where I do more reviews, tech reviews, and I'm going to be doing various videos, maybe some comparisons of the iPhone, maybe some other mobile reviews, thanks for watching I, see on the next review.
