Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Series Unboxing and First Look [English]

Hey, what’s up? Sami here. Today let’s take a first look at the Mi Pad 5 series. I promise this is by far the most informative video about the Mi Pad 5 series ever on the internet. We spent so much time shooting it. So please make sure to subscribe!! Please! Because tomorrow I’m going to shoot an even more detailed video about it! Let me know what do you want to learn about these Mi pads in the comments section. Alright, first unboxing.

As for the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro they look exactly the same. Right now we are unboxing the green color of the Mi Pad 5. We’ll take a closer look later. In the box, we also have a 3.5mm headphone jack to type-c adapter and some paperwork, and that’s it, no charger, no pen, no keyboard, you have to buy them separately. As for the Mi Pad 5 Pro, it adopts this black packaging, actually, it has the same contents as the Pad 5.

And from our first impression, they seem to have the same weight as well. Anyway, we’ll check more about these two pads later. Let’s keep unboxing the keyboard, it’s not very special, anyway. Let’s see how the pad and keyboard attach to each other. The keyboard and the case area are magnetic so when you put your pad there it will be attached automatically, and then the bottom of the pad will be attached too like the video shows, to be honest, they can be attached really tightly.

And when you close the pad or open it with the case, the screen will automatically turn off and turn on. As for the pen pairing, it’s easy. Just put this flat part onto the pad, and it will have a popup to remind you to pair, click to pair, that’s it. And it supports wireless charging, as for how to use the pen or what you can do with it, I will talk about it in my next video, let’s move to the Mi Pad 5 specs. About the price, it will cost you about $308 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant and $354 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB version.

We have white, black, and green colors for you to choose from. Here is the white version, what do you think of it? Do you like it? It looks very minimalistic, with only the Xiaomi logo at the bottom left corner and the camera module, we’ll take a look later. The Mi Pad 5 comes with an 11-inch LCD display with 2560x1600 screen resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10, and TrueTone. It also comes with support for Dolby Vision and will run MIUI for Pad.

The tablet gets support for High-resolution audio and has support for Dolby Atmos. While it has four speakers, I will let you have an idea of the sound. Alright, that’s it, I think the music is copyrighted, I’ll test that later, please subscribe!! It packs an 8,720mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It has a dual-camera setup at the back with 13-megapixel main camera and 8-megapixel secondary camera. And if you are wondering about the design, here it is.

The Mi Pad 5 Pro comes with the same 11-inch LCD display with 2560x1600 screen resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10, TrueTone as well as Dolby Vision. This one has a main 50-megapixel camera with a 13-megapixel secondary camera. The Mi Pad 5 Pro packs an 8,600 mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. It also runs MIUI for Pad. Alright, that’s a simple hands-on of the Mi Pad 5 series, I will test more of the photo, overall performance, and general usability tomorrow, please make sure to subscribe.

I’m Sami and I will see you in the next one!.
