iPhone 11 Pro Max Review - 1 Year Later

Foreign, hello, my loves, I hope you guys are doing well today, I'm back with another video, and it is gonna, be about my iPhone 11 Pro max review exactly one year later, since I've got it and I can't believe how fast it's been a year. I feel like I just unboxed this yesterday, because I still have the brand-new box sitting on top of my vanity and I look at it every day, because this is definitely my favorite phone, since I've had so far. I've had every single iPhone up until now and every single year I change it, and this has definitely been my favorite. Furthermore, I really am trying to change the habit of getting a new phone every year, because waste so much money every single year. Getting it like. The phone literally is two thousand dollars, because I'm Canadian and then this phone- I can't sell it for much or resale.

So I end up giving it to somebody really like a waste of money to me, but at the same time I always justify it. As I use my phone so much, I always want the new features, but I really don't see that if you need a whole new phone to get the features because the phone is only a year old, and you can have software updates, so I'm super excited about the iOS 14 to come out as well after watching apple keynote about the iOS 14. It's so pretty. They're going to have like android widgets and, like all of these cool widgets that you can finally use- and I don't know why it took us 10 years to finally get those widgets like I've- been an apple fan for over 14 years, and I've had an apple phone for every single time. It's come out, and it's taken this long to get widgets.

But I know it's because Apple always wants to make sure that their iOS and their software and their phone every single product and every single software that they release it's perfect and even though android had the widgets for so long over seven eight years they've had the widgets and that's why it's so customizable on their home screen. Their phone is so customizable, but Apple has taken this long because they want to release it to make sure it's perfect. So I'm super excited for iOS 14 and with that being said, I don't know if I'm going to get the iPhone 12, because after seeing like leaks and rumors about it, it looks pretty similar to the phone that I have now. But then again, I'm not going to quote myself on it and really put myself to the test, because I know maybe I'll end up getting it, and then I'm just gonna. You know cry about it because I always say every year I'm not going to get it, and then I end up getting it, and then I just justify that exact reason.

So I don't want to say I'm not going to get it, but I'm going to try not to get it, and I'm going to see and see the differences and see the new changes this year, but hopefully I'm not going to cave in and buy it on the spot like right away, as I always do, I'm still really enjoying the iPhone 11 Pro max like I find it so useful, and I love that it's so big. I'm really glad that I got the bigger iPhone 11 Pro instead of the smaller one, I almost got the smaller one instead, but having the iPhone XS max like the big one, I had to make sure that the screen size I wasn't being like cheated on and going from bigger to smaller. I think the screen size really does matter, because I like to see everything huge and with that my eyesight is not the best. So I need to have like my font, bigger and if my font is like huge font, size, 20, and then it's on like the smaller screen. It looks really weird like I'm.

I can't read or something which is usually the case, because I can't read the apple pink silicone case on it right now. I changed my case like almost every single day, so it's probably going to be different tomorrow, and it is pink, and this is the one that I've gotten like every single year in the same color in the same case and the same brand, and I always give in to this one, because I really like the color, I feel like it's a perfect pink, but the only thing I have a problem with it is that it always gets filthy, and then I have to repurchase it every single like few months, which I get pissed off about, because this case is not cheap. It's like 60 and look like. I only bring it out a few times, and it gets so dirty like it's not perfectly mint pink anymore makes me upset because it's such an expensive case and the color always like wears off. So I don't really like that, but I do like that.

It covers like the front and right now I do have a glass screen protector. I always do, but it's cracked right now, it's always cracked. After, like a few days, I get it some. I don't want to change it every single week and right now, my screen saver is my baby. I just recently got him this car seat, so it's really cute.

Furthermore, I put him as my wallpaper. Furthermore, I do have the iPhone in the white one, and I like to use my phone without like a case too, because I think that it's so sleek and so pretty like just to hold it without a case feels so comfortable. Furthermore, I really like it. However, I do drop it a lot. So sometimes I go without the case, and sometimes I do knowing how careful I'll be.

I try to use the case with it more often. I do also have a lot of cases. Another case that I've been really into as well is my coffee case, because I drink coffee every single day. This is the one, oh that looks so cute with the pink in the back, but usually it's white because of my phone. So I got this one for my birthday and it's so pretty.

Like look at this, it reminds me of like a caramel macchiato, which is my favorite drink from Starbucks, and I drink coffee every single day. So this really just represents me. I got it for my birthday and I love it so much. I always use it. The only thing that I would have a problem or an issue about getting a new phone is like my battery on this.

When I first got this phone, the battery was so good. I remember the battery lasted about a day and a half after having like a full on use, but now, when I use a phone, it probably lasts like half a day and I have to always keep it charged, and I always have to have a portable charger on me because I'm on my phone so much if you look at my screen time, my screen time is about eight and a half hours per day that I use my phone, and so I think that's like a lot and um. I am on my phone more than often because of like just work, and I'm always just like on Instagram or like on social networks or talking to friends and stuff, like that, so I love being on my phone, which is kind of unhealthy and, like the blue light, is not good for your eyes, but knowing that I still go on my phone all the time, and it's awful. My battery health right now is only 88, which is concerning because it's only been less than a year and usually like on my iPhone XS max. I remember the maximum capacity of my battery health was up 100 still even a year after changing before into this phone.

So I'm not really sure why the battery health on the iPhone 11 Pro max has gone down in only in less than a year having it be 88. If you guys don't know what that means is basically, when I charge my phone, and it says 100, it's actually only 88 like I will only be able to use 80 of my battery until it goes to zero. I went into the Apple Store asking like. Oh, can I replace my battery like I don't know why my battery dies so fast, and he said that it's because I use my phone too much and which is weird because that's what the point of the phone is to use it and to you know be on it. But he says that I use my phone too much, and so I can replace the battery for about 90 dollars.

So I didn't do that because I felt like, while I still have some time on it before I want to replace it. I kind of want it to get like a little lower and then replace it all at once. So it's just easier instead of like going back and forth, and so that was something concerning to me, because I've only had this phone for a year and the maximum capacity is only 80, but that doesn't really change my mind like. I definitely still want to keep this phone through the upcoming year. Actually, I've never kept a phone for over one year.

I've always gotten the new iPhone every single time it came out, and it's frustrating, because I want to be able to keep a phone for over a year. So hopefully this will be the one, and I won't be getting the new one, but I will be updating it to iOS 14 when it does come out and then that way, it'll still feel like a new phone, because I know for sure that all the iPhone 12s will be already installed. The iOS 14, like you, can't go below that because every single year it is like that it installs the new software that comes out with it. So when you do have an older phone though, and then you can just install the new software, it is just as fast as. Maybe the performance might be not as good in like two seconds, but it doesn't really matter like to me.

After watching so many tests and like reviews and stuff, I don't feel the need to spend another two thousand dollars on a new phone. But then just watch like when the new phone comes out. I'm like unboxing time. Oh, we'll see like I'm trying not to get it having to install every single thing again and starting fresh, like I do like that. But right now I don't feel that it's necessary to have an entire new phone right now with like a million photos and things to like iCloud to transfer over.

But I'm super excited to um see what iOS 14 and the performance that the phone will be able to do, and I still really like it like I'm in love with this phone still, and it's definitely my date. My daily driver, like I use it every single day. It's my main phone and every single thing on it works just perfectly fine. Like all my apps, I don't have any issues with that and I love it so much. I'm super glad that I got the bigger one, though, like I feel like the big screen, just really works, even though it's like bigger than my face, and it's like really huge against my head and it's so funny because I see all those memes where it's like, oh iPhone in 10 years, and it's like a huge iPad.

But how is that going to fit your pocket? And it's so funny, because guys who actually have this phone, they say, doesn't it in their pocket like I see them, try to test it to put in their pocket, and it doesn't fit in their pocket. So yeah the phones are just getting bigger, but hopefully iPhone 12 stays the same size after seeing like all the leaks and rumors, it does stay the same size, so we'll see. I definitely want to do another. What's on my iPhone video as well, if you guys want that, I would love to be interested in like sharing my new phone videos and like doing little reviews on different apps. If you guys want any feedback or any reviews on an app, I would definitely love to do that as well.

Just let me know the name of the app or like a folder or like whatever type of category you want, and I can definitely film that as well so yeah that was my iPhone 11 Pro max one year review, I'm still in love with it, and it's still my baby. Thank you so much for watching. I love you guys so much, and I'll see you guys in the next video bye.
