2020 Apple iPad Pro 12.9" (4th Gen) | ANDROID USER'S FIRST IMPRESSIONS! | My First iPad!

What is popping guys welcome to today's tech with Land, where I discuss my experiences with today's dopes tech from a brand-new perspective. Now, if you're new consider subscribing because today, we're going to be taking a look at an Android users, first impressions of the 20/20 Apple iPad Pro 12.9, so over the past year or so I have expressed the desire for a tablet except I. Just didn't quite have use for one up until recently, when I restarted, the channel and I just realized. I could be substantially more productive with a tablet and obviously there are tons of hype surrounding iPad Pro and being especially inspired after watching the WWDC keynote drum roll. Please I pulled the trigger on the twenty-twenty twelve point: nine-inch iPad Pro and hot. Damn here's my first impressions, so I want this video to Chronicle my impressions in the same order that I experienced it.

So we'll start with my impression of the design. Now, goodness, gracious iPad Pro is extremely thin light and huge all at the same time as I'd seen the ads, but it's just not the same as seeing and feeling it in the hand for the first time and the aluminum chassis was cold to the touch when I pulled it out of the box, giving it that much more of an impressionable experience and I find myself just picking it up and looking at it and going wow. This is such a nice piece of tech. You just expect something so large and powerful to be rather unwieldy, and that's just not the case like at all the twelve point. Nine-inch iPad Pro can totally be a one-handed device, although it can be a little slippery if you do have dry hands.

But as long as you have some grip to them, you can hold iPad Pro in the palm of your hand without fatigue, and it's actually comfortable now when I booted it up for the first time and got through the initial setup. The first thing that struck me was the display. The 120 Hertz pro motion was immediately noticeable in same feeling. I had about Samsung's 1ui software being very optimized for the s20 ultra is 120. Hertz display is the same feeling I had when navigating through iPadOS for the first time, but even more so iPadOS on iPad Pro has the smoothest animations I have ever seen on a mobile device.

I mean it's just extremely fluid like and when I first saw the keyboard, I thought damn that's pretty big, but it's actually not bad, and then I found out that you could pinch and shrink the keyboard for easier one-handed usage, combined with swipe typing, and I'm, responding to comments or entering a Google search in no time which is again why I say that even the twelve point, nine-inch iPad Pro can be a one-handed device when needed. The next thing that I noticed was the amount of bloatware. If you will, there's quite a few Apple apps that I've gone ahead and deleted that are simply Apple's versions of common apps like Pages, Numbers and Keynote, and I also got rid of iMovie GarageBand, iTunes, U and clips, but other than that iPadOS 13 is very clean and simple. The settings menu is super easy to navigate, and it's just not feature packed like I'm used to on a Samsung device, but there are still a slew of software elements that contribute to the overall premium feel of iPad Pro like when the keyboard is open. You can swipe down on a key to access the secondary key, which is something I discovered by accident, but I really appreciated it, and the multitasking implementation is superb.

The way that you can have multiple floating apps on the side of the display and swipe through This is just so fluid and intuitive. Or if you snap, the floating window to the side of the display I mean it really makes iPad Pro quite the productivity device smoothly that only 120 Hertz could provide. Then me being an avid music listener. I tried out the speakers and Tim was I surprised by the quality of the quad speaker system. The vocals are crystal clear and the highs, mid and lows are just very well-balanced, providing an overall sound that I have yet to hear out of a mobile device until now, I'm finding myself choosing to listen to music via the iPad Pro over my Google home max sometimes- and it's just really a pleasant listening.

Experience and I just actually happen to notice that when audio is playing and the orientation of the device changes, the orientation of the audio changes as well to conform to its current position. Dope now I made sure to get the full experience, so I copped an Apple Pencil and the smart Keyboard folio I just couldn't get past forking over three hundred and fifty bucks for the magic keyboard. But I ended up getting a Best Buy open box. Excellent smart keyboard, folio with multiple gashes across the sort of mesh material I, should have taken a picture to show you guys, but I ended up taking it back and buying a Sate chi, r1 aluminum foldable stand and a key Crank a4 with gator on blue switches. I love the extra loud click Enos, but I found that when I'm not sitting at my desk I'm, typically not doing any typing I'm Moreno doing some research or some photo editing and swipe typing, it's the job done, but anyway, Apple Pencil is extremely responsive like almost too responsive.

If that makes sense, it's almost hard for me to write neatly, and I'm a very neat writer with OCD about my handwriting, so I'll definitely have to get used to it and I wish that you could use Apple Pencil to fully navigate the interface like you can't get to the app switcher with Apple Pencil, meaning I always have to put my finger to the screen if I'm, not at my desk. Now, when I am at my desk I'm using Magic, Mouse, ? and I love cursor support the way the cursor can jump from icon to icon is very neat and intuitive, and it just makes sense for a mobile device like iPad Pro I only wish icon jumping worked across the board, but it's mostly limited to UI elements and even then not all of them, so I'm, definitely looking forward to iPadOS 14, where I'm, seeing that cursor support is significantly improved, and I did just download the second open beta so be sure to stay tuned for my full review of iPad Pro it'll be coming along in the next few weeks or so, and I'll dive a little deeper into iPadOS 14. Now. The last thing that I want to mention is the solid battery life and standby time. I typically wake up in the morning charging up 200% and to work at about 9:30 or so, and when I get back, it's still sitting there at 100%, and lately I've just been using the iPad Pro instead of my iMac just to get the full experience of it, and there are definitely some caveats to the whole iPad Pro laptop replacement thing, but I'll get a little deeper into that in the coming weeks, in my full review, so all in all after experiencing what all the hype was about, I can honestly say that iPad Pro has exceeded my expectations.

Tremendously I, never thought I'd be willing to give up using my 27-inch 5k iMac, but here we are so far. I've learned that iPad Pro is the perfect device for quick and mobile computing, and it's obvious as to why it is the standard in the tablet. Arena, I, think I'm, gonna, cop, the Samsung Galaxy Tab s, 7, plus just for comparison between the two leaders in the industry. But with that being said, iPad Pro has given me some serious vibes about when the day comes. For me to be able to rock a Samsung device and an iPhone until then folks, stay tuned for an Android users flow review of iPad Pro, as well as my first impressions of an iPhone, since my wife was so graciously willing to get one as her daily driver.

Just for me to review anyway. I appreciate you all for watching. If you enjoyed the video, then please do me just a little nitty-gritty teensy-weensy favor leave a like on this. Video drop, a comment and if you're into tech as much as I, am then subscribe to the channel for a brand-new perspective on your favorite pieces of tech. But, most importantly, though, most importantly after subscribing hit the bell so that you can be notified every single week when I upload more videos discussing my experience with today's dopes tech.

It's all for now guys.
