Hi everyone Aaron here for Solo Tech and today, Apple released the iPad Pro nine point: seven inch. This is the smart Keyboard that goes along with if it's about a hundred and fifty dollar accessory, and then they released the iPad Pro the iPad Pro nine point. Seven kind of confusing name is the latest to the iPad Pro line. We have a larger version, and now we have the smaller version. So let's go ahead and open it up now. This is the 128 gigabyte Wi-Fi space gray variant of it.
Now you can get it in a bunch of different colors. You can get it in gold rose, gold, silver and Space Gray I have Space Gray pretty much iPads for everything. I use I prefer that color, so I just keep getting that one. But this is a little different comes in at $5.99, with 32 gigabytes 7:49 for 128 and 256 gigabyte options are available. There $8.99 now take on another 130 dollars or so for Wi-Fi and cellular. These don't have cellular since I've got my phone for that, and I can just teethe err to it.
If I really need to, so this is the iPad Pro. Let's set that aside we'll take a look inside, the box has a little cutout for the camera. You can see there. We've got a lightning cable here, see what we've gotten here. We've just got the iPad Pro pamphlet iPad info and your Apple stickers.
Furthermore, we've got an AC wall adapter, and this is a 10 watt wall, adapter, and then we've got a lightning cable and nothing else. So, let's set that aside, set the Box aside and take a look at the iPad itself, so this iPad is 9.7 like I said, and it's the pro and what makes it pro is the 9 X processor, which is really fast. It works great in the iPad Pro the large one. This one only has 2 gigabytes of RAM, though, so they must not have needed that for this screen. So you can see it's its the space gray color, which means it has the lack front on the side.
We've got our normal volume button. We've got a little camera bump now and a microphone hole there. On the top. We have a power button here. We have two speakers on top and then your headphone jack 3.5 millimeter on the bottom. Furthermore, we have two more speakers, your lightning cable, and then we've got our new smart connector, and this allows us to actually connect to things such as the iPad Pro without having to use batteries.
It's powered right off of this. So next to before we look at the keyboard. I want to show you the iPad Air 2, which is now $100 cheaper, and this is my air ? a little dirty, but it's the air 2 in space gray and, if I put them side-by-side, it's kind of hard to tell the difference just in this sort of setup, but you can tell just by the flash here and a little of a camera bump, and you can see that better right there, so you've got a camera bump there as well, and you've got the extra speakers. Also, so you've got speakers on top, and it's a little different on the bottom, they're spaced a little differently. Let me show you this real quick, be real, careful here on the bottom.
This is the iPad Pro. This is the iPad Air 2, so they're a little different there, but that's really pretty much it as far as the way you can differentiate the two other than the smart connectors on the side. Now this screen is supposed to be a little more color accurate and has true tones. So now it adjusts to ambient light in the room and should be a little nicer when looking at it in the same room. So it's supposed to also be less reflective, so I don't know if we can see that here, but I'll try and reflect the camera a little you'll see it's supposed to be a little less reflective there as well.
Let's go ahead and turn it on we'll set the iPad Air 2 aside, we'll turn it on we'll open the smart Keyboard here now again, this is a pretty expensive accessory now I have found it's pretty essential, though, on the iPad pros on the larger iPad Pro I actually really like the keyboard. I never thought I would, but on the larger one it makes all the difference in the world. You've got all these shortcuts. You can use, and you don't have to use the Apple keyboard. Furthermore, you can use a different branded keyboard.
So, while that's starting up let's open this up, this is designed by Apple in California. Then we've got the keyboard cases here, go ahead and open that up. So if we turn it on, it says hello slide to set up, go ahead and select the language where I'm located connect to Wi-Fi wait for that will enable location services I'll set up a touch ID quickly, I'll create a passcode I'm, going to restore from an iCloud backup since I have this iPad and an iPad Pro I'm going to restore from the iPad Pro I'll just go ahead and put in my ID we'll go ahead and agree to the terms and conditions. It may take a few minutes to set up your Apple ID. Now we're going to select which iPad we want to restore from I have another iPad Pro, so we'll go ahead and restore from that, and we'll wait for that.
Now, while we're waiting for that, let's go ahead and take a look at this keyboard unfold. It got a little piece of paper in here, and it's very similar to the larger one. Same type of keys, you'll see there they're kind of fabric color covered. You can actually see that in the space bar, if I wobble it a little it wobbles in its fabric-covered, it's actually got some cables that go through here and then connect through this connector. That's pretty much it for the iPad Pro the nine point.
Seven inches I'll go ahead and wait for this to restore I'll, be using it for some time before I. Do a review I'd like to give you guys an honest opinion? Actually, let's attach it here, I like to give you guys an honest opinion of what it's like to use. This and I'll see what it's like compared to the larger iPad, and we'll compare some of those later on in some other videos. But let me know if there's anything specifically you'd like to see me know in the comments below if you haven't subscribed already, please subscribe and like as always thanks for watching this is Aaron I'll see you next time.
