Official Razer Phone Tempered Glass Screen Protector Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech and today, I am back with another say with me guys, big on boxing for you for the razor phone, and today we're back with the official tempered glass screen protector to unbox. Do a quick review as always I'll throw up that link in the video description. So if you guys want to check it out, definitely feel free to do so. So this one retails for $24.99, so the price is definitely premium. Obviously it's an official product, so you kind of expect that price but looks like the reviews been pretty poor. So obviously we all know that again still will make the decision if it's a hit or miss, but some negative reviews looks like have been based upon the screw protector crack easily.

So obviously I won't be able to test that out right away. I'll be something off to you know: try out later on the process, so we'll do the installation do the quick review. Obviously, you guys can throw any questions in the comment section, and we'll give you guys updates on the screen protector itself. So with that said, packaging feels pretty premium got the Racer logo, which looks really sharp tempered glass screen protector kit, 9h hardness anti fingerprint you have to add add. So it's going to give you the content, so you're getting the tempered glass screen protector for your razor phone, your usual alcohol, prep, pad dust, remover kit and then cleaning cloth.

So that's pretty much it guys. Let's go to get to the unboxing and see we're getting see if it's worth the price of admission, not much to that. So I like that easy-peasy got the open tab. I like that color. So the razor got that beautiful green with the black, and it looks pretty sharp, so a nice presentation from razor.

I'll try to do this on video, but it doesn't always work, so we'll try to do it on video, but follow the instructions for sure guys and let's see we're getting here, I believe, that's it. So that's pretty much it there and then here we got our usual stuff. Like I talked about got your dust removal sticker matches, the colors arrays are pretty nice, and you got your sticker as well, and then a microfiber cloth and I expect the heaviest it does get the nice little rays of Brittney. Keep these around just to wipe off that phone. Keep it looking beautiful, and then you got your usual alcohol prep pads. So that's pretty much it with the presentation.

Here's the actual main feature guys what you guys came here for and here's the tempered glass does pretty thin. That's one thing: I have noticed right off the bat. It's a very thin tempered glass doesn't have a lot of weight to it and obviously that's not a negative, but it definitely feels like it's very thin for a tempered glass screen protector. It's got a little of give to it as well. Obviously feels like it's going to go edge to edge for the screen protector itself on the screen, and it's definitely crystal clear all around it looks to be a full adhesive.

So that's nice at least. Let me do this. Let me clean up the foam. Put the video on pause, we'll try to get this installation done on video, so hold tight, guys be right back, alright guys, so welcome, back I went ahead and clean off the entire device, so make sure you're doing this in front of the like an LED light or direct sunlight. So you can make sure you get all the dust particles off the screen.

I'll double-check is one more time before I start the installation and I believe all the dust looks appears to be off. At least it is a little more tough to do this behind the video, so bear with me guys alright. So this one is basically the screen itself was basically square, so this yeah number one and that's it, so there's really nothing else to it. So basically you're going to line it up based upon you know the top and bottom of the speaker girl, there's really not a lot of other there's, not really any distinguishing marks or anything like that to line it around, so basically you're just going to line it up with between the two speaker, grilles top and bottom bezel, part. Okay.

Alright, here's number one we'll just go on. Take it off gently best to do it as quick as possible, but make sure you're not putting your fingerprints on this back of the screen protector. So what I would do is make sure you line any up just right same time, kind of line it up with the sides as well make sure you're hitting the edges just right, and I believe I got it on there and then from there. You can see the adhesive stick boom. Pretty nice.

Let's see if there's anything I missed, looks pretty good. So there we go. Let me clean it up real, quick guys. Installation appear to be really nice and easy again. It's not nothing like the iPhone 10, where you get that big notch at the top and have to work her way around this one.

You pretty much just lined it up between the two speaker, grilles and then just let it lay flat, and it's pretty easy to line up. So let's go ahead and see, give you guys some books of that, and you can see it's definitely not thick material. It barely protrudes up at all. So that may be one of the negatives and people in having issues with it, scratching or cracking. But for the most part it looks.

Pretty nice installation looks very clean. You got edge to edge protection. You can see it's edged for all corners of the screen. The installation was very smooth. You don't see any type of bubbles, it's full adhesive, so we'll give it that at least you can see again definitely doesn't appear to be a fingerprint magnet, which is nice.

Give you guys another look at the other side, and you can see just barely sticks above the screen itself. So I mean right off the bat I'd say this is a mini hit. Just because of the installation was very smooth, it appears to be good quality again. I can't speak for all the negative reviews on it, but for the most part right now it appears to be a quality product. I would say it's very thin, so we'll kind of have to just keep it on for a couple of weeks and see how it holds up.
