IPAD 7TH GENERATION + APPLE PENCIL UNBOXING!!

Hey, my babies, it's Mikayla, and I'm back again with another video. So in today's video I will be unboxing my new iPad 7th generation and the Apple Pencil first generation and a couple accessories for those two items, so before we start excuse my tongue. Looking a little blue right now, because I did just finish eating an icy. I hope you guys don't mind that too much, so I did recently order myself an iPad and Apple Pencil for school because I will be a paperless student come fall, so I did recently order myself this iPad and Apple Pencil and um. My mom picked it up for me at the Apple Store a couple of weeks ago, and it's just been sitting here doing nothing. I'm really excited for this by the way, because I saved up my money not for this in particular, but I was saving and the fact that I was able to get this for myself.

It's really rewarding so kudos to me here is the apple bag. This is the bag. It came in when my mom went to pick it up from the Apple Store, so in this bag we have the iPad. This is the iPad 7th generation in space gray, and it is the 128 gigabyte version. Here's the front of it.

My ring lights, always reflected in one of the sides, say iPad. The top has the Apple logo other side, iPad bottom Apple logo. This is what the bag looks like. Also in the box, we have the first generation Apple Pencil, so we're going to be unboxing the iPad first back again with my cuticle cutters there, it is seen it's not going to come out, I'm going to have to like to pry it open with my fingers. Okay, this is so not like the videos I'll be watching.

Okay, finally, got it off, okay, so here's the iPad has a little plastic protector on it here: shoes, our iPad and space gray, she's, a beauty, she's, a beauty, guy she's, a beauty. Okay in the box. We have the informational pamphlets, also comes with the regular iPad box and the regular iPad charger. Now we're going to go on and open the Apple Pencil. Oh, so it just slips right out pretty cool okay, so bring it out.

Here's our beautiful Apple Pencil, it's nice and wrapped in this plastic wrap, but I'm not going to take it off yet, so I'm ready to put the accessory on it. The Apple Pencil also comes with the sleeve has a bunch of pamphlets, and I think this is the USB connector and an extra tip okay. So now I'm going to turn it on there. We go. It's only so exciting to turn them on.

For the first time, hello, okay, so press the homes open, okay, all set up. It may take a few minutes to activate your iPad, so if you guys are seeing a glare, this is like the best possible way that I could set this up for you guys to be able to see exactly what I'm doing. Okay, data and privacy continue touch ID. You might have to take the plastic off to do that, so I'm going to take the plastic bag. Oh, it looks so much better without the plastic on.

Oh, my gosh continue. Okay, adjust your grip, keep going to capture the edges of your print. Complete touch ID is ready. Your print can be used for unlocking your iPad continue, create a path code, okay, um, apps and data. I don't want to transfer apps and data then assign it to my Apple ID, okay terms and conditions.

I agree. Okay, it may take a few minutes to set up your Apple ID express settings. Continue. Keep your iPad up to date, continue Apple Pay I'll, set that up later um iCloud keychain continue Siri not now screen time continue app analytics share with app developers. Appearance, dark mode, always continue.

Quick access to doc continue. Switch between recent apps continue quickly. Access controls continue welcome to iPad period. Okay, get started. Okay, so here is my brand new iPad.

Now we're going to connect the Apple Pencil, I'm going to pop the top off put the Apple Pencil. It's just like an USB piece, and it goes right into the port under your iPad. Okay. So it's saying Bluetooth, pairing request Apple Pencil, like to pair with your iPad hair. It's paired okay.

So it's definitely paired because I can swipe okay so now that my iPad and Apple Pencil are unboxed and paired together, I'm going to show you guys the accessories that I got for both of them. So for my iPad, I've got this marble case. It's clear in the back, so I'll be able to see the space gray. I also got the paper like screen perspective for the iPad, because I do have the Apple Pencil. I will be using my iPad Apple Pencil for school, so the paper light screen protector is just going to make it easier for me to be able to write on my iPad with my Apple Pencil.

So I don't have to feel that gloss of the screen. The screen protect protector, make it feel like matte, like you're, writing on actual piece of paper. So that's really, really cool. For my Apple Pencil. I was very indecisive.

So at first I ordered this gray Apple Pencil cover, and it has like ears at the top. If you don't know if you guys can see that, but it has little ears, but then I was like hmm. I think I changed my mind, so originally it was going to be these two together, and obviously they match. You know the gray and the marble which is cute, but then I decided to go ahead and get this white Apple Pencil case, because I really feel like this. One is a lot more sleek.

It doesn't have like the attachments, like the other one, has its just a sleek all in one case, and it's in white. So this is what it would look like, and it also goes with the case, so I'll be using these two together. So now that I've showed you guys, the accessories I'm going to switch orientation and put all the accessories on so, so foreign, okay guys. So my iPad and my Apple Pencil are paired and set up. I put the case on the iPad and the Apple Pencil um.

I'm a little upset, though, because I realized that the case that I have its doesn't allow my Apple Pencil to sit in the little um chubby. So I'm just going to have to make sure that I keep it somewhere safe so that I don't lose it and I have a freaking air bubble. I don't know if you guys can see that, but yes, my iPad is set up. This is what it looks like. I think it looks so sleek.

I love the space gray with the marble. It goes so well. It also goes very well with the Apple Pencil, I'm feeling real, real, real good right now, real good, because I said I'll be using this iPad for school. There's a couple apps that I need to download on the iPad first, and I still have to set up my lock screen at home screen, so I'll, be doing that off camera, and then I'll be coming back on camera to show you guys all the apps that I'll be using and my home screen and my lock screen. Okay, so I just finished getting everything together for my iPad, putting my lock screen and home screen on and downloading a couple apps that I thought at the top of my head that I would need for school, but I'm pretty sure over time, I'm going to add more apps later on, but I'm also not going to go too in depth because I'm going to do another video later that kind of touches on that topic, so just stay tuned for that, so I'm going to start screen recording.

So you guys can see exactly what I see. Okay, so you guys are currently looking at my lock screen. It's just this pretty picture that I got off of google and I really like it. It kind of matches my aesthetic, so that is my lock screen. I'm just going to go into my iPad now, and this is what my home screen looks like you, guys, can't really see it through the apps, but it's just this white baby, pink and black aesthetic, um collage.

My apps are all out of order. I usually color code, my apps but, like I said I'll, be doing another video soon on my iPad, so it'll all be like arranged properly by then, hopefully so. First app that you see is FaceTime. You guys already know what FaceTime is um. I have Google Docs.

I use Google Docs for my essays to do my resume different things like that. Furthermore, I usually type up my papers on Google Docs. We have calendar, clock, photos, camera reminders, notes, voice, memos contacts maps find my app store books. I kept books, I would normally be deleted, but I kept books because I just want to see what kind of books that they have um available on the iPad already podcast, because I want to start listening to podcasts. So I kept that on there news I kept that on there, so I might end up deleting it, but I did keep it on there.

I have settings Gmail because I also use Gmail for school. I have this app called acrobat. Acrobat is basically like an app that allows you to complete applications. Virtually I've been using it a lot during quarantine to complete applications for my school they'll. Send it to me, and I'll, be able to open it up in acrobat and actually virtually sign and fill out those applications and send it back to them.

So this is really really really helpful, especially being that we're still going to be doing. Virtual school come fall semester, so I'm pretty sure I'll be needing to sign things virtually. So this is definitely going to come in handy good notes is the app that I'll be taking. My notes on you know, writing out my notes, putting grass in et cetera, et cetera. I have Quizlet because I use Quizlet to study.

I use Quizlet as like flashcards, so that's what Quizlet is for, and lastly I have Wattpad and if you don't know what Wattpad is its just basically an app that you read books on and lap past stories? If you know, okay, if you know, so I had to put that on there. So I could read my books on my iPad. So, yes, that is it for now. Like I said before, I will be putting way more apps on my iPad, but this is just it for now um, because I'm not in school yet so until I get to school. This is just basically what I have on there for now, so we've made it to the end of the video.

I just want to thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed, and I hope to see you guys in my next video. So once again, I just want to thank you guys so much for watching. I love you. Bye, bye,.
