iPhone 12 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra! | VERSUS

Hi there, my name is Sam from verizon. com and welcome to a new comparison, video between Apple's iPhone, the iPhone 12 Pro and Samsung's galaxy s20 ultra the two leading smartphone manufacturers against each other, which company produces the best phone. That is what we are going to find out in this comparison. If you like to see more videos like this feel free to subscribe and hit the notification bell. Let's start straightaway, with our review, let the facts speak display. The galaxy s20 ultra has a 6.9 inch display with a 1440p resolution. It is fitted with an old screen which also does a fantastic job.

The s20 ultra's display measures, 17.44 centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 511 PPI. The s20 has the 2020 master feature of an impressive 120hz refresh rate, but this option is not possible with the highest resolution. The iPhone 12 Pro has a 6.1 inch display with a 1170p resolution. The 6.1 inch display, therefore, measures 15.5, centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 460 PPI. The iPhone solid screen creates, as usual, very natural colors apple did not update the iPhone 12 with the 120hz refresh rate feature.

It still uses 60hz, since we are comparing the smaller version of the iPhone 12 Pro with the galaxy s20 ultra. It was an easy win for Samsung in terms of display size, but other than that. The galaxy also has a higher resolution and pixel density. The higher refresh rate comes with a lower resolution, but it is still higher than that of the iPhone. The galaxy wins.

Therefore, the point in this category performance, the galaxy s20 ultra model that we use in this comparison, has a Samsung Enos 990 ships with two times: 2.7 gigahertz and the four times 2.4 gigahertz and the two times 1.95 gigahertz for a solid performance. Keep in mind that this is the European version, the s20 ultra version, which is sold in the USA, china and South Korea has also the snapdragon 865 built in this phone. Has 12 gigabyte ram with 128 gigabyte internal storage capacity, there's also a 16 gigabyte ram model with 512 gigabyte internal storage capacity on the market. This dodge capacity can typically be expanded by up to one terabyte. The iPhone 12 Pro is equipped with apple's latest a14 bionic chip.

The phone has six gigabyte ram and the individual models offer different storage capacities.128, 256 and 512 gigabyte are available. Dodge capacity, unfortunately, cannot be expanded, as it is typically for Apple iPhone devices. This time it's the a14 bionic chip against Samsung's Enos. The Enos is generally known, the weakest of the possible options and the galaxy s20 ultra, but let's take it into the end to do benchmark test and find out which phone performs better. The tests are divided into three phrases: a performance test of the ram, a test of how the device is handling two-dimensional, graphics and an endurance test of how the device is handling 3d, graphics.

It is pretty clear that the iPhone with this a14 bionic chip is the winner. In this comparison, the question is: if the iPhone had won the comparison at the galaxy at the snapdragon's 865 built-in, we researched the result of the n2 benchmark test and no even with a snapdragon built in the iPhone would have still won. Therefore, the point goes to the iPhone camera. The iPhone 12 Pro has a treble rear camera system, an ultra-right, a wide and a telephoto camera. All three cameras have a resolution of 12 megapixels.

The front camera resolution is also 12 megapixels, the iPhone 12 Pro records, 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames and, of course it has image stabilization for video. The s20 ultra has also four main cameras: ultra-right, wide angle, telephoto and death vision. The cameras have a resolution of 108 megapixels, 12 megapixels and 48 megapixels. The font's camera's resolution is 40 megapixels, the Samsung Galaxy s20 also records 8k videos at a maximum of 24 frames per second and, of course it has image stabilization for video 2. Both phones have good camera systems, but which one is actually the better system.

Let's take it to our daytime camera test and, let's find out which one does a better job. The iPhone 12 Pro takes quite sharp pictures with natural color, rendering pictures taken with Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra are equally sharp and color. Rendering is good. Both phones take equally sharp images with their front camera. The 12 pro has a 4 volt optical and a 10-fold.

Digital zoom feature the s20, on the other hand, has a 10 volt optical and a 100 volt digital zoom. But, as we already mentioned a dozen times in previous videos, it doesn't really make sense to zoom all the way in the images look very pixelated. At least that is our opinion. What do you think the iPhone thinks the resolution of 4k produces excellent videos? You can record slow motion videos with up to 240 frames per second in full HD mode, the Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra thanks to a resolution of 8k produced top quality videos, full HD mode offers 240 frames a second and HD mode up to 960 frames per second and again, a high amount of megapixel does not say that the camera produces better. Looking images, we still think that the images produced by the iPhone are more appealing.

Therefore, Apple takes home. The point for the camera system, design Samsung uses a very elegant glossy finish for its galaxy s20 ultra. The quad camera system is also well positioned in the upper left corner on the back of the phone, but unfortunately the camera bomb sticks out a lot. The smartphone weighs 220 gram, it's roughly 16.69 centimeter long, 7.6, centimeter wide and 0.88 centimeter deep. It has an USB connector.

The ip68 rating makes it also water and dust resistant. The s20 uses face recognition technology and the fingerprint scanner which is built onto the screen to unlock the phone. The iPhone 12 Pro has a glossy stainless steel frame, which only the pro versions have and a matte glass finish on the back. Typically, for apple. It has a very high end.

Look to it. The 12 cameras are well positioned in the upper left corner and the back of the phone. The smartphone weighs 187 gram, and it is roughly 14.67 centimeter long, 7.15, centimeter wide and 0.74 centimeter deep. It uses apple's, lightning connector, and it is ip68 rated. So it's water and dust resistant, and it is supposed to be four times more drop resistant than previous models.

The iPhone uses face recognition technology to unlock the phone. The face ID as usual works perfect at daylight and also good in a weak light environment, apple's new design and this iPhone is, in our opinion, the overall better looking smartphone, even the haptics of the iPhone has a more high-end feel to it, and again I have to mention that this is our subjective opinion. You might disagree with us. Let us know in the comments below what you think of apple's new design or, if you like, Samsung's design, more we'd love to hear your opinion battery the iPhone with fully charged has around 2 815 William hours, which is still not official yet, but it is fact that the battery in this phone is definitely smaller than in previous models. On the other hand, the Samsung, when fully charged, has 5 000 William hours in terms of capacity the galaxy should clearly last longer.

We will see whether that's really the case in our day-to-day usage tests. The higher battery capacity lets the galaxy s20 ultra win this category. It just lasts long in our day-to-day tests, but as always, both phones got through a whole day of normal usage. It always depends on the way you use your phone and the settings. You use it in conclusion, as usual, at the end of our videos, it is time to collect the points of each category and pick the winner.

Let's start with the display, the Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra is a clear winner in this category and takes on the first point in terms of performance, the iPhone 12 Pro outperformed the galaxy and takes home. This point. The same happened in the camera and design comparison and both the iPhone dominated the galaxy. Another two points for Apple's iPhone. The galaxy is the clear winner in the last category, the battery life comparison, but in the end that couldn't help the galaxy s20 ultra to win this comparison, the iPhone score, 3 out of 5 points and takes home the overall win.

Naturally, we review more than these five categories covered here.
