Huawei Watch GT 2e Unboxing & Review After 1 Week!

Hi guys is a CIT, and this is the Huawei watch. Gt2 II I've been using on and off for about a week or so- and this is my fault review now quick disclaimer. While we were kind enough to sponsor this video. But as always all opinions are my own and I will show you the pros and the cons as far as I see them. So, firstly, yes, this Aaron is similar to the regular while we watched GT 2, which I have already reviewed, but with a few key subtle differences which we'll get to I will leave the link of that original review of the GT to watch in the video description below. So you can go through and check it out after watching this, if you haven't already seen it, but now, let's turn our attention back to the GT 2 II.

So, firstly, the unboxing experience is very simple: you get the watch, the charging disk and cable and setup manuals, and that's pretty much it now according to Fix way. The e stands for energy, vitality and mentality of the youth of today makes me sound a little old that, but straightaway you get an idea of the demographic that Huawei are looking to market this device at so moving away from the more traditional dressier, perhaps more business, looking gt2, the e version is a sportier looking fresher design for the young active generation. So the first difference, you'll notice from a looks point of view, is how these strap meets. The watch face, giving it a great unibody design. Not only does this look reinforce that sporty vibe, but it also makes to watch more streamlined and enables it to apparently collect more accurate data.

The rubber strap has these little perforations on it, which gives it quite an aggressive and edgy look and also helps to disperse all that yucky sweetness from your workouts now I've got this rather lively love a red colored strap, but it also comes in graphite, black mint, green and icy white, and these straps are interchangeable. The watch body is made of 316 L grade stainless steel, which is known for its durability to harsh environments. It has two function buttons on the right hand, side which are more squared off and flatter than on the standard, gt2, of course, better for preventing miss touches when taking part in sporting activities more on the buttons features later, the body houses a 1.3 9 inch, AMOLED high-precision touch display supporting a resolution of 454 by 454, and you can expect the same color saturation and contrast as you would see, on a Huawei smartphone. Now one brilliant feature about this watch that as far as I'm concern has to be a must really now on smartwatches. Is that ability to have an always-on display, and you can obviously decide whether you want this feature on or off, depending on how long you want the battery to last with always-on display off.

You can get up to 14 days battery life on here thanks a lot Kiran a one chip with the always on a spike on it's about half that. Obviously, if you use things like GPS a lot, this will affect your battery times, but it makes such a massive difference not having to charge your watch every day. The watch also utilizes highways fast charging system, which is great with five brightness options. It's easy to use even in bright sunlight and again, you can manually, choose these settings one to five, or you can leave it in Auto, which I generally tend to do these and other settings like Bluetooth and Lee mentioned always-on display can be found with a simple swipe down from the top. Also in this quick drop down menu, our do not disturb alarm, etc.

A simple swipe up from the bottom takes you to your notifications, where you can stay up to date with all the latest information from all of your favorite apps. Now, no, you can't actually respond to those notifications straight from the watch, but it's a feature that I sometimes find on other smartwatches that can do that. It's a bit counterproductive, sometimes because by the time you've actually gone onto the watch and typed out with the little tiny keyboard. Your responses, you probably would be quicker. Just picking up your phone and answering, so I personally, like using a smartwatch to sift through the notifications that come through and see whether there's anything that I actually need to respond to there and then a press and hold on the watch face, takes you to the face designs and far away I've, actually added a load more recently over on the Huawei health app, which you also use for your setup and connection to your smartphone inside the health app.

You can add all of your personal stats and can view amongst many other things, exercise records, sleep, tracking and app notification settings from home. If you swipe left or right, you have instant access to your heart rate and stress monitoring, as well as weather, music and some Fitness data like step count, and this is where we're going to start to look at some great Fitness features of this watch, which, in the current climate that we're in its something that I'm thinking about more and more now lower button. On the right hand, side is a customizable shortcut which is currently set to go to the last place. You were in, but you can choose notifications, etc. , if you so wish.

If we click that top right button, we have things like workout, which has running courses with different levels for fat-burning endurance, etc. Outdoor and indoor runs cycling swimming and many more, including an add, more section that opens up things like boxing and yoga, etc. So it's very, very customizable, and you can personalize it to your own needs. You can monitor your training effect and see when you're, hitting fat-burning regions etc. during actual workouts and once you've completed a workout.

The information is stored in the workout records. Underneath these two sections of things, like heart rate, sleep, comforts, breathing exercises, music, stopwatch et cetera and a brand-new feature spo2, and this can apparently monitor the oxygen levels in your blood, which is pretty mind-blowing and pretty useful, especially for post workouts, to make sure you're getting enough oxygen into your system. If your count is too low, you'll be recommended to take a break overall for fitness. There are 15 personal workout modes, and you can track a further 85 types of sport in six categories, which is great. Furthermore, it can Auto detect six different, workouts and end that workout for analysis.

At the end, this, of course, will speed up the process. You don't have to manually set up your workout every time, so you can just jump in get involved, and you're good to go. Precise GPS tracking also adds a dimension for tracking and sharing workouts etc. to all of your social media channels. So, if you're into showing off how you've managed to run from London to Edinburgh and back six times in a week, you can do that.

I've been using this watch this last week for my daily exercise, routines and I have found it really useful to be able to monitor my progress. This means, of course, when the football season reopens I can call up Chelsea and say Frank, Lampard, I'm ready for you. I've got my boots ready. Let's do this first team action. It's definitely not gonna.

Put me in the team now, as far as smartwatches go the light. Os software plus 32 megabytes of RAM means the GT.2E is fast and fluid to use which takes away that element of frustration. So you can simply focus on your fitness. It also has 4 gigabytes of storage for music. If you wanted to add that now you've heard some great things about this watch, but no product is perfect and there are a few things you might want to consider.

If you're looking to buy the watch number one, you can decline, calls on the watch, but you can't answer them due to the fact there is no microphone or any speakers. There is no NFC for payments etc. , and there is no third party app installed capabilities, so you're relying on the features that are already pre-installed on the watch. So those are some potential trade-offs for that awesome battery life. Also, another thing to note: the gt2 II only comes in 46 millimeters and there isn't a smaller version.

The gt2 standard comes in a 46 and a 42. So if you like, meaning too big watch faces then great. If you're looking for something a bit smaller, then this might not be the best option for you all things considered for students and young professionals or even if you just want a sporty vibe to your brand new Smartwatch for $1509.99, but I've got 20 pounds off in the video description below using a special coat so for 130, $9.99 I think you're getting a pretty great watch for the price. The code for that twenty pound discount is ASB, whitey 20, and you can simply just use it at checkout. Let me know what you think of the Huawei watch, gt2 II.

Is it better than the standard gt2 or is there another Smartwatch that you like? Let me know in the comment section below, as always, I'd love to hear your thoughts like and share. If you enjoyed the video and found it helpful, subscribe and hit the notification bell, if you're new to the channel and love everything, tech, I love, you maybe I'll, see in the next one says: 40 peace out. So, if you're into showing off how you've managed to run from London to Edinburgh and back six times in a week, you can do that. Can you do that? Can you run from who knows, and there are a few things you might want to consider? If you're looking to buy the phone I mean they said the watch subscribe and hit the notification Bell if you're new to the channel and love everything take their tooth half if hair.
