HTC U11+ (U11 Plus) versus OnePlus 5: speedtest

Hi I'm Nick gray, the high-tech traveler and welcome back to another one of my smartphone speed tests. Today, I'm going to be comparing the HTC. U 11, plus against the 1 plus 5, to see which of these two phones is fastest Before, we jump into the speed test. Let's do a quick rundown of the specs, the HTC? U 11, Plus has a snapdragon 835 processors, with 4 gigs of RAM and a 6-inch quad, HD plus display. On the other side, we have the 1 plus 5. It's also running a Snapdragon 835 processor, but it does have 6 gigs of RAM, but then only a 5.5 inch, full HD display with the specs out of the way, let's jump in now, I always start things off with a fresh boot to make sure that all apps are out of memory for the speed test, and it's also nice to see which of the two devices starts up quickest now in all the speed tests that I've done, I still haven't yet found a correlation between boot uptime and the actual speed test results. So just keep that in mind for this speed test.

I'll be launching applications simultaneously on both devices to see which device loads them up quickest after round one, the HTC. U 11, plus, has a commanding lead over the 1 + 5, let's jump in for a second round to see which of these two devices can load up the apps quicker from memory at first, the HTC. U 11-plus looked like it was going to completely dominate the speed test, but the 1+5 did manage to pull things together in the second round and even came up with a tie right at the very end. If you were hoping to have a clear winner in this speed test to help you decide which of these two devices to buy. Unfortunately, you're out of luck, you're going to have to make that decision based off of camera, performance, design and overall price.
